This Auction is for a Beautiful 2006 Quigley 4X4 Ford Van 5.4L EFI V8 Engine with Quigley 4x4 Conversion in excellent condition. I occasionally drive the van so it may have a few more miles than the 78542 it has today (max another 100).
Options, (please also see picture of window sticker) Premium Van Group, Engine heater, Dual batteries, Custom Wheels and Chrome bumpers, Class A hitch with HD tow package and electric brakes, Pioneer Avics Z1 In dash system
with XM and navigation, aluminum drop down Carr steps, Total invested 49,460.00.
Optional items NOT included in sale but offered: System One Rack System available (not included with the van but available for $1000 extra if you want it). I can also include the factory set of 16" forged aluminum rims with studded snow tires for an additional $500. Quiet flex rack/bin/storage shelf system for $250 that is currently removed from the van.
I've always kept up on service, motorcraft filters and semi-synthetic oil.. Only used 4x4 in the snow never took it off road at all. 4x4 prob doesn't have more than 500 miles on it. Also included is a Chrome drop down step bumper that goes in the hitch receiver. Front Seats are high back buckets that are perfect! There are covers over them since new, driver side seat is all electric. The ceiling is an insulated custom headliner from ford with 4 lights, It also has a set of custom blue neon lights underneath the front, rear and sides of the van but they only flash on and wont stay on - just to let you know. Floor is insulated rubber. Just had all brand new rotors drums and lifetime pads installed around 1000 miles ago. At 64,000 Quigley did $3000.00 worth of free front end work because they had a recall on some of the conversion parts they used so the sway bars, front cross shock and upper and lower ball joints are also all new. This is a really cool van but I must sell it at this time.
Good luck and happy bidding!!

Ford evaluating new Fiesta RS?
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Word coming in from across the pond has it that Ford is working on developing the business case to create a new Fiesta RS. The development is encouraged by the extremely positive reception the existing Fiesta ST has garnered to date, and the emergence of the above-pictured Fiesta RS WRC rally car, but it'll take more than goodwill to make a more extreme version a reality.
According to Auto Express, a new roadgoing Fiesta RS would almost certainly be based closely on the ST version, albeit with some vital differences. Its 1.6-liter turbo four would be increased from 180 horsepower to somewhere around 230 hp, and that powertrain would be accompanied by lightweight alloys inside blistered wheel arches, a stripped-out interior and possibly lightweight bodywork.
The vehicle's approval would reportedly require a strong business case in Europe, and not just in the UK where Ford hot hatches traditionally enjoy a strong following. It's unclear whether the Fiesta RS would potentially make the transatlantic voyage to American showrooms, but between it and the larger Focus RS, hopefully the Blue Oval wouldn't leave its home market out of the action altogether.
Texan finds creative way to clear highway fast lane
Tue, Jun 14 2016Few things are as infuriating as someone driving slow in the fast lane. A Jeep driver from Texas found himself in just such a predicament near Fort Worth, and came up with a creative way to urge the offending lane-blocker to get a move on. Machine, a YouTuber and off-road enthusiast from the Lone Star State, posted some dashcam footage to his account back in March which showed him stuck behind a slow driver. He was attempting to pass a slow-moving bobtail Peterbilt tractor when he got hung up by a white Ford Econoline squatting in the passing lane. On his YouTube page, Machine stated that the van, which apparently belonged to a plumbing company, was traveling along between 60 and 70 miles per hour along a stretch of highway with a stated speed limit of 70 mph. Confronted with the slow-moving van blocking the left lane, and traffic in the right lane, Machine called the number on the back of the Econoline and politely asked him to get out of the way. In the Econoline, the passenger picked up and was momentarily confused as Machine asked him to ask his driver to move out of the lane and let traffic pass. The van sped up, passed a tractor-trailer, and got out of the way, much to the relief of the traffic behind him. According to CBS news, 38 states have laws on the books to punish slow drivers squatting in the passing lane. In five of those states, the fine is upwards of $1000, and 22 states classify it as a misdemeanor. Ford F-250 boots Cadillac Escalade from atop thieves' most-wanted list
Tue, 09 Jul 2013The Ford F-Series has been America's best-selling truck for decades, but along with the good comes the bad, apparently. In addition to being popular with consumers, the Highway Loss Data Institute notes that the F-Series Super Duty has risen in popularity among thieves. Based on its new study, the four-wheel drive crew cab F-250 Super Duty has topped the list for the country's highest rate of insurance theft claims, knocking the Cadillac Escalade from the top spot - a distinction the luxury SUV has held since this annual report was first established in 2003.
To reach its findings, HLDI looks at theft data from the previous three model years (in this case 2010-2012) to determine the frequency of claims for a particular make and mode,l as well as the average payment per claim. As the report points out, the claims aren't always for the theft of the entire vehicle - they can include components (say, wheels and tires) or property taken from the vehicle. At seven claims per 1,000 insured vehicles, the F-250 is six times more likely to suffer a theft claim than the average vehicle.
The Cadillac likely dropped from the top of the list to sixth due to additional theft-prevention features including a steering wheel lock and inclination sensor for the alarm, but GM's other fullsize trucks and SUVs still occupy eight of the list's 10 spots. Some of the least stolen vehicles with below-average loss payments include the Lexus HS250h, Hyundai Tucson, Honda CR-V and Dodge Journey. Head on over to the HLDI's website for the full list that shows the most and least popular vehicles among thieves from 2010 through 2012.
