NICE 1996 FORD FULL SIZE BRONCO 116400 MILES WELL MAINTAINED AND USED VERY LITTLE SINCE WE PURCHASED IT.  WE BOUGHT THIS TRUCK USED WITH 104500 MILES AS A SPARE VEHICLE, THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD A VISOR INSTALLED AND IT HAD WIRES PINCHED IN THE ROOF AND CAUGHT FIRE.  THE HEADLINER, DOOR POST COVER AND SEAT WERE BURNED AND A SMALL SPOT ON THE VINYL MATT, THE DASH LIGHTS DO NOT WORK ALONG WITH THE OIL GAUGE IN THE DASH.  WE INSTALLED A NEW SEAT, FIXED THE WIRING FOR THE VISOR. INSTALLED A SEPARATE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE, GRILL GUARD WITH LIGHTS, ALTERNATOR, FUEL PUMP, FAN BELT, FAN BELT TENSIONER AND MUFFLER. THE BODY IS NOT PERFECT AND NEEDS SOME RUST WORK AROUND THE REAR WHEEL WELL OPENINGS. HAS A COUPLE OF SCRATCHES AND DINGS. ALL IN ALL WITH WHAT WE PUT INTO THE TRUCK, ITS A GREAT DEPENDABLE VEHICLE. IT HAS A 3 INCH BODY LIFT AND 35 INCH TALL TIRES WITH SOME NICE RIMS.  THE TRUCK WAS USED ONLY IN THE WINTER IF DRIVING CONDITIONS WERE NOT GOOD BY THE WIFE, AND I USED IT TO GO TO FIRE CALLS. i HAVE RETIRED FROM THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND HAVE A NEW TRUCK AND NO LONGER NEED THIS. IT HAS A 5.0 LITER  302 V8 ENGINE THAT GETS PRETTY GOOD MILEAGE AND A 4 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING FUNCTIONS AS IT SHOULD.

On Jun-24-13 at 05:52:44 PDT, seller added the following information:

THE TIRES ARE 33 X 12.50 X 15

On Jun-24-13 at 06:30:30 PDT, seller added the following information:

THE TIRES ARE B F GOODRICH ALL TERRAIN T/A  WITH 10/32 OF TREAD DEPTH SO THERE IS LOTS OF LIFE LEFT

ONCE AGAIN SORRY FOR THE ERROR ON TIRE HEIGHT - THEY ARE 33 TALL  12.50 WIDE AND 15 INCH RIM
THE ENGINE HAS 60 POUNDS OF OIL PRESSURE AT AN IDLE ON THE MECHANICAL GAUGE THAT WAS INSTALLED

Focus ST diesel variant coming, just don't look for it here

Fri, 07 Mar 2014

A few years back, Volkswagen made some waves when it announced the Golf GTD - a diesel-powered car that, aside from its ultra-efficient, ultra-torquey engine, was identical to the gas-powered GTI. That meant cosseting sport seats, larger wheels, sportier suspension, larger brakes and a body kit that made the GTD indistinguishable from the GTI, except for the three little letters on the back and in the grille.
Now, Ford is looking to replicate VW's success, with a diesel version of the Focus ST. According to Motor Trend, the diesel-powered ST will use a 2.0-liter, 182-horsepower four-cylinder. With an unspecified amount of torque on offer (we'd guess around 280 pound-feet), the diesel hot hatch should hit 62 miles per hour in about eight seconds.
The report, which originally comes from Auto Express, claims the ST Diesel was confirmed by Ford Chief Marketing Officer Mark Fields during this week's Geneva Motor Show. Not surprisingly, it doesn't appear there are any plans to bring a diesel-powered Focus of any kind to the US, let alone one that uses the suspension, steering and other items from the ST. Of course, if there's an official confirmation from Ford, we'll be sure to report on it.

Ford Ranger-based 7-seat SUV spotted testing

Wed, 29 May 2013

Ford looks to be working on a new SUV version of its global Ranger pickup truck. An early prototype of a seven-passenger SUV based on the Ranger has been spotted testing in Australia, and word has it buyers in the region could expect to see the model in showrooms as soon as 2014, where it could sail under the Endeavour or Everest badges. Ford Australia currently sells the Territory SUV, so there's some chance that this model could be a successor to that throne, as well.
Whatever it's called, the long-roof Ranger will feature a shorter wheelbase and more ground clearance than its pickup twin, giving the machine a bit more off-road functionality. (And here we thought we couldn't want the global Ranger any more than we already do.) While this particular vehicle sports a Territory back half grafted onto a Ranger front end, odds are a public reveal of the finished product could occur as soon as the second half of 2014, making it a 2015 model. Camaro SS, Hellcat Widebody, and an Airstream camper | Autoblog Podcast #545

Fri, Jun 29 2018

On this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Green Editor John Beltz Snyder and Senior Editor Alex Kierstein. We talk about a lot of American stuff, including the Chevy Camaro SS 1LE and the new Blazer, Dodge Challenger Hellcat Widebody, Ford's new train station and a diesel F-150 towing an Airstream trailer, as well as some Tesla pickup news. Somehow the Kia Stinger also made its way into this red, white and blue episode (because it's great, and it's our new long-termer). This week, we try something a little different in the "Spend My Money" segment. Autoblog Podcast #545 Your browser does not support the audio element.
