Class III receiver hitch, 5.0L (302c.i.) EFI V8, AOD (automatic) transmission, rubber floor, vinyl seats, 4 point roll bar, Dual CD player with aux input, Powermaster 140amp alternator, Optima blue top dual purpose marine deep cycle battery, driver side spotlight, smog equipment removed, Goodyear blue silicone hi-miler hoses, Summit Racing shorty headers, custom exhaust, single 40series Flowmaster muffler, dual exit chrome slash exhaust tips. 15x10 American Racing solid aluminum wheels, 32x11.50x15 BFGoodrich All Terrain tires, Warn manual locking hubs. 193,xxx miles on odometer, 45,xxx miles on drivetrain.
Motor and transmission are Jasper rebuilt, both are strong and in good shape. Front end was rebuilt by Ford dealer, I rebuilt rear end. Only synthetics since I owned it. Have all documentation showing FWC bought the Bronco, and documentation on rebuild of engine, trans, and front end. Rattle can paint job that is not that great, but not that awful. It's all the same color and matches! Has rust spot at back of drip rails on passenger and driver side, also has some rust at bottom of tailgate.

White House clears way for NHTSA to mandate vehicle black boxes

At present, over 90 percent of all new vehicles sold in the United States today are equipped with event data recorders, more commonly known as black boxes. If the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gets its way, that already high figure will swell to a full 100 percent in short order.
Such automotive black boxes have been in existence since the 1990s, and all current Ford, General Motors, Mazda and Toyota vehicles are so equipped. NHTSA has been attempting to make these data recorders mandatory for automakers, and according to The Detroit News, the White House Office of Management Budget has just finished reviewing the proposal, clearing the way. Now NHTSA is expected to draft new legislation to make the boxes a requirement.
One problem with current black boxes is that there's no set of standards for automakers to follow when creating what bits of data are recorded, and for how long or in what format it is stored. In other words, one automaker's box is probably not compatible with its competitors.

Ford Mondeo with 1.5-liter EcoBoost debuts in China

Does the car above, posing fancifully in white, look familiar? Well, it should. Although it wears Mondeo badges in the form you see above for the Chinese market - as it does in Europe - the car is basically the same thing sold in the US as the Ford Fusion. Of course, it's what's under that shapely skin that counts.
Ford has chosen the Shanghai Motor Show as the venue with which to unveil its 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. We'd heard about the engine before, but now we have a few performance estimates to share: 133 kW of power (about 178 horsepower) and 240 Nm of torque (about 177 pound-feet).
Those numbers pretty much confirm previous rumors indicating about 177 in each category, and it's right on par with what Ford's own 1.6-liter EcoBoost produces. Ford is claiming best-in-class fuel economy as well, but no specific figures have yet been provided. In any case, we'll surely have all the data soon enough, as the 1.5-liter mill is destined for the US Fusion in 2014.
