From our private collection is this stunning 1969 Shelby GT350 Fastback! They only made 17 Royal Maroon with Black Interior Shelby GT350's Fastbacks in 1969! This is the only one with clear glass making this a one of a kind.

As you can see from the photos this car is "Concourse Mint" Nut and Bolt Rotisserie restored to better than when it was new! My family were Shelby dealers back in the day so I remember how they came off the truck! Take a look at how flawless the body panels and doors fit on this car, it is that nice!

I do not restore cars, build cars, etc.. as I purchased this Shelby just like you see it here.  Example:: I learned many years ago not to spend 150 grand restoring a car that will be worth 100 grand when its done.

I have a very fair price on this Shelby. If you would like to put this awesome car in your garage just give me a call and I will try and help you all I can! What makes a good deal is when we both are happy!

The C.P.I. Guide Book ( Cars of Particular Interest, Published by Black Book ) which is the dealer book for values, up and down market positions, etc. have this cars value at $54,000 for one in just good condition, $91,000 for one in excellent condition. As you can see from these photos this car would certainly fall in the excellent category but is not priced for sale at that value. The price I will take for this car is an excellent buy. You would never loose a penny on this investment quality Shelby!

Call Dennis Lasseter Jr. @ 251-769-1639 central time between 8 am and 9 pm please.  I am not hard to deal with if this car is going to a wonderful home. I cannot hold this car so please be honest and straight forward.  I cannot answer a text message.

It is "HIGHLY DOCUMENTED" and in the Shelby World Registry. I have the actual book ( which does not go with the car, sorry ) and I have taken a photo of the listing page for you also. It comes with the Deluxe Marti Report. It also comes with something that you rarely see, the "ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET"!!! All documentation is in a 3 ring binder that comes with the car. Please take a look at the photo of the "SHOW BOARD" displayed beside the car which has a copy of the Build Sheet, Shelby Registry pages, Marti Report, etc. on it, very cool!!! This also will go to the new owner!

The engine block cast number is C90E-6015-B and the transmission is C9ZP-7006-A, my mechanic wrote these down for me. From the Shelby registry and other research I have done these are the correct components for this car. This is not some made up old car, it is a true investment Shelby!

The original rim-blow wheel is still in the car and it works! Running Blinker lights do work too!! Runs and drives very well.

I took these photos of the car when it was outside on the lift so you can see how beautiful this car really is. The bottom of the car is spotless!  The photos of the car do not do it justice, she is breathtaking in this color and the quality of the restoration is second to none!!

I reserve the right to cancel this eBay auction at anytime for any reason. Sold as is but it is exactly like I say! Shipping is the buyers expense and I can help with that. This car can be stored in my secure lock-up in our collection as long as need be. All papers, title, documentation, etc. will be transferred to the new owner once funds have cleared. Sorry but you cannot bring a check and pick up the car the same day. Bank transfer is safer. Payment is to be sent within 3 business days. Inspections are more than welcome but must be done before the auction ends. I am only 2 minutes from the Mobile, Alabama Regional Airport, be glad to pick you up and take you back if you fly in!

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call me, emails will be slow to answer, sorry.

Thanks for taking a look at this incredible Shelby GT350!!

New Ford Escape spied inside and out

Fri, Jun 26 2015

For the 2016 model year, the Ford Escape receives the Blue Oval's latest Sync 3 infotainment system and some minor tweaks to the color and trim options. Based on these new spy shots, it would appear that the crossover is due for some much bigger changes not too far into the future, as well. The thorough refresh isn't just an exterior styling update, either. Ford's designers are giving the future Escape a front end that's a bit more in the style of the latest Edge, at least based on these shots. Peek behind the mesh obscuring the grille, and the styling there now appears to have a hexagonal shape with horizontal slats and a smaller, lower intake. At the same time, the headlights are narrower and come to a sharper point as they wrap around the fender. The heavy camouflage makes the changes at the back harder to spot, although the taillights seem subtly tweaked with a similar overall shape but a clear stripe cutting through the center. The Escape also seems to be receiving a completely different center stack inside, but the area is still well concealed. The gearshift moves down between the seats, and that allows physical controls for the radio and HVAC to take that real estate. It's possible that the infotainment screen might pop up from the mesh-covered area you can see at the top of the interior photos. Take a look through the gallery for some detailed shots of Ford's camouflaged crossover.

First 500 European Ford Mustangs reserved in 30 seconds [w/video]

Thu, 29 May 2014

We're pretty sure that any initial concerns Ford had about selling the redesigned Mustang in Europe have been lessened considerably, after the first 500 Euro-spec 2015 Mustangs were been reserved in just 30 seconds. Moreover, 9,300 people attempted to snag one of the coveted orders for the all-new muscle car. Yes, Mustang, you should do quite well across the pond.
The registration event was held during the UEFA (pronounced yu-eh-fa) Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid.
"We knew there was huge excitement building for the new Ford Mustang coming to Europe, but the response during the UCL Final was overwhelming," said Roelant de Waard, VP of marketing, sales and service for Ford's European outfit. "It was a truly special way to kick off the Ford Mustang era in Europe."

Ford files trademark application for 'Model E'

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

In early December, Ford filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the name "Model E." Historically, Ford never produced a Model E, and while automakers are known to file for trademarks they never use, some have wondered if the application might be used for a concept car.
Based on other recent events, though, it could be a legal move. In 2000 Ford sued an online start-up called Model E over the similarity of that name to Ford's industry-shaping Model T, but the judge dismissed the case citing lack of proper grounds. In August 2013, Tesla applied for trademark registration for Model E, and at the time, Ford said it would review the application. Tesla actually made two applications for Model E, one for automobiles and structural parts therefore, the other for "providing maintenance and repair services for automobiles," and there are plenty of theories about what the name could be applied to.
The Published for Opposition date for Tesla's applications is December 31, 2013, after which anyone who thinks they'd be harmed by Tesla being granted the trademark gets 30 days to register their issues. This is just speculation, but Ford's application - which was filed for automobiles only - might be about protecting what it sees as unwelcome encroachment on the name Model T, protection it wasn't able to enforce before when the stakes were only online and much smaller.
