car..... purchased in california april 1957 and stayed in beverly hills CA were it was well taken care of, when ever something had to be fixed or replaced it was, and serviced always, stayed garaged, and driven just on weekends. then sold and brought to new york, and thats where she is now. she was painted about 20 years ago, her body is straight, all around, the chrome is perfect all around, brand new soft top, brand new tires, doors open close perfect and with ease, windows roll up tight and with ease....no leaks , everything works,

this is car you can truly be proud to own,

she has zero issues, and is a real lady, not a put together, the original owner replaced items and or rebuilt as the years went on, thats the right way to keep a classic car....... show or go, total turn key.

she drives amazing, and i mean amazing.... smooth
one pump, idles perfect.....

interior is very nice condition, all components in the interior work, and are solid , and tight. the undercarriage is solid, the original undercoating is now just coming off and is very very solid. the trunk is solid, original rim and spare, original keys, original glass all around, original locks, this is a perfect example of a car that has not been ripped apart, and put back together...this a solid solid all together car, you dont find them that easy like this.

Ford Australia pulls the ol' talking car prank

Siri from Apple has proven that being able to talk to your technology doesn't always work perfectly. But what if it could eventually go far enough to give a personality to inanimate objects like our cars? Ford took just this path to comedic effect by playing a prank on many unsuspecting Australians, in a new commercial for its EcoSport compact crossover.
The Aussies seem very nonchalant about having a random parked car talk to them, and they seem surprisingly game when it asks them to get in, call a celebrity and tell a joke. Ford Mondeo with 1.5-liter EcoBoost debuts in China

Does the car above, posing fancifully in white, look familiar? Well, it should. Although it wears Mondeo badges in the form you see above for the Chinese market - as it does in Europe - the car is basically the same thing sold in the US as the Ford Fusion. Of course, it's what's under that shapely skin that counts.
Ford has chosen the Shanghai Motor Show as the venue with which to unveil its 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. We'd heard about the engine before, but now we have a few performance estimates to share: 133 kW of power (about 178 horsepower) and 240 Nm of torque (about 177 pound-feet).
Those numbers pretty much confirm previous rumors indicating about 177 in each category, and it's right on par with what Ford's own 1.6-liter EcoBoost produces. Ford is claiming best-in-class fuel economy as well, but no specific figures have yet been provided. In any case, we'll surely have all the data soon enough, as the 1.5-liter mill is destined for the US Fusion in 2014.
