This is a meticulously restored 1949 Ford F-1 Pickup in Meadow Green. The truck spent its life in Alabama and I purchased it from a dealer that was selling the truck for the estate of the original owner. The professional restoration was completed in 2010, and since only 500 miles have been put on the truck.

The truck always does well in local cars shows, often winning best paint. The truck was also the only pickup ever invited to the Saratoga Auto Museum's Invitational car show in 2012.

The F1 has been restored to original. The only upgrade done was a disc brake conversion in the front as the braking on these trucks was known to be less than perfect.

The underside of the truck was restored with the same attention to detail as the top, and the wooden bed is beautiful.

These trucks have been doing very well in the auctions lately and is sure to be a great investment.

Ford leads top searched-for car brands on Google in 2014

With less than two weeks until 2014 takes its final bow, anyone and everyone is looking back on the past 50 or so weeks to see how they stacked up. For search giant Google, that means its time to check out its annual Trends report. Besides the most popular search term (the late, great Robin Williams), the most searched for gadget (the iPhone 6) and most searched for disease symptoms (quite worryingly, Ebola took the crown here), we have the most searched for automaker. With the long-awaited sixth-generation of one of America's most iconic vehicles, the Mustang, and a ground-breaking update for the US market's perennial best seller, the F-Series, it should come as no surprise at all that Ford was Google's most searched for automaker in 2014. Jeep captured second place, while Dodge, took third. We suspect introducing a pair of cars with 707 horsepower had something to do with that bronze medal... Jeremy Clarkson is well-known for his role as co-host on the old Top Gear. But the frontman of the upcoming Amazon Prime Show, The Grand Tour, also has a standing column for The Sunday Times in the UK where he reviews the latest cars. With fall nearing, Clarkson put out a list of his top-10 cars from this year and 2015. Some on the list will surprise you, while others represent everything we've come to love about Clarkson. In order to make his list of star cars, the vehicles must offer what co-host James May calls "the fizz." The vehicles, Clarkson claims, have something that is out of the ordinary.
