Hello, I am selling my 2008 mustang GT Premium edition. This is a beautiful car. I am very meticulous when it comes to taking car of my car. The car was in storage covered up in my garage every winter. All oil changes and maintenance was done by ford dealer. I also change the front end of the car to match a shelby gt500. I changed, fascia, chin spoiler, headlights, turn signals, fog lights, grill. All these parts are actual genuine ford parts brand new for a GT500. I also put a tru-fiber aftermarket hood on it (very reputable company). The hood is a replica of the gt500kr mustang. This appearance upgrade would cost upwards of $6000. All this work was done by Rose City Ford. The car was in a minor accident where the front facia and grill was damage. When this happened is when I changed all the parts over to gt500 parts. No airbags were deployed and the alignment was checked and was fine. All parts fit perfect and gaps are 100% uniform. The stripes on the roof are just beginning to fade, not sure if they can be buffed out. The vinyl stripes are fairly cheap. The performance wise is 100% stock. It was not beaten on and is very well taken care of.

I have the right to end the auction early due to the car being advertised locally.

Weekly Recap: Auto execs face life in prison for recall delays under proposed legislation

Sat, 09 Aug 2014

The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Ford Transit can haul on the track

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

Line up any two comparable vehicles, and eople are going to want to race them. Need proof? In its latest track battle, Auto Express wants to know which commercial vehicle can lap a circuit faster - a Ford Transit or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Let's face it, neither of these European vans were ever meant to be near the track unless they are delivering a racecar and a ton of parts for a fun weekend, but it's massively fun to watch them give it a go anyway.
The one thing that Auto Express really illustrates here is the modern marvel that is stability control. The driver hops curves, and these big vans lean in the corners like your friend walking home from a long night at the bar. However, because of the amazing stability systems, the vans mostly keep all of their wheels planted and never seem close to getting sloppy, despite their behemoth size.
Unfortunately, the two vans aren't exactly fairly paired. The Ford has a dual rear axle and a few other advantages over the Mercedes, but it's still hilarious to watch them go. Even better, the host breaks down everything happening behind the wheel like these commercial vehicles were two Porsches. Enjoy watching this very unorthodox battle between Ford and Mercedes.

Ford's official Euro aftermarket partner Mountune coming to US

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

Now that we're getting a steady stream of Ford's European offerings, the aftermarket world is finally starting to catch up as well. UK-based aftermarket tuning company, Mountune has just announced that it will be setting up shop in California to provide high-performance and racing parts for Ford vehicles including the Focus ST and Fiesta ST.
Mountune lays claim to being Ford's "official European tuning partner," and US buyers will soon have access to these parts through Ford dealerships and with a Ford Racing warranty. Speaking of Ford Racing, Mountune also says that it will be working with Ford's in-house team to develop future components for both street and track. There are no specifics as of yet for which products will be offered here, but the company plans to launch a US-specific website later this month with more information.
