Very clean 1994 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Liter 5 speed.

Dark Green Metallic with Tan and Black interior. 4 Wheel Anti Lock Power Disc Brakes, Power Rack and Pinion Steering. Tilt Wheel and Cruise Control. Power Windows and Power Door Locks. Tan cloth seats. Driver side power seat with lumbar. Rear seats fold down for trunk access/pass through. Engine is said to have about 75,000 miles, per previous owner. Just passed California emissions in February 2103 with no issues. Runs smooth and drives excellent. Uses no oil. Clutch is good and the transmission shifts out well. 17 x 8 inch Cobra R style wheels riding on 275/40 17 ZR rated tires with excellent tread left and showing even wear on all 4 corners of the car. 156,402  mostly highway/freeway miles. Nice commuter. Very original car with only a few alterations. Lowering springs, Cobra front brakes and Flowmasters are the only modifications to the car. Flowmasters have a little rumble at idle and a some throat on the freeway, but they don't drown out your favorite tunes. Alpine head unit with CD and removable face plate. USB jack and auxiliary jack for your IPhone, IPod or MP3 player.  A/C blows cold and the heater works excellent. New battery. Windshield is a year old, so its nice and clear. Paint is all original and is still about a 7-8 in quality. Clear coat is starting to fail on the roof and on the front bumper cover. Some stone chips and a few minor door dings. One small dent on drivers side fender by turn signal. Looks very nice for a 20 year old car.

I've owned the car for about 4 years and it has never left me stranded or had any major issues.  I would have no hesitation about driving it cross country.  Free and clear title.  Pink Slip in hand.  Fly in to sunny San Diego and drive it home.

Shelby GT500 laps N"urburgring in under 7:40?

Wed, 30 Oct 2013

A couple of weeks ago we brought you footage and official times of the new Chevy Camaro Z/28 lapping the Nürburgring. With a 7:37.47 lap time, the Z/28 emerged as the fastest muscle car ever to lap the circuit. But what was missing from that picture was how fast the king of all Mustangs, the Shelby GT500, could manage to lap the Nordschleife.
Ford never released any information or footage of the GT500 on the Nürburgring that we were aware of - that is, until the guys at SVTPerformance.com put in a request for Mustang videos. Among the clips they received was never-seen, in-car footage of the Shelby GT500 lapping the circuit. And boy did it hustle.
Although not quite official, the video seems to show the GT500 lapped the venerated German track in a touch under 7:40. That would make it a tick or two faster than the Camaro ZL1 - but what of the Z/28? By Chevy's quoted time, the Z/28 is still faster than the GT500, but SVTPerformance suggests GM may have fudged the numbers a bit and scrubbed half a second or so off their lap time.

Ford Australia debuts Ranger-based Everest SUV concept

Tue, 13 Aug 2013

Ford has been in hot water in Australia ever since it announced plans to end local production of the Falcon and Territory SUV. Besides canceling a model that is to Oz what the Mustang is to America, the end of production means more than a few folks will be out of work.
Keen to prove that it has a plan for the market, Ford has unveiled the Aussie-penned Everest Concept, a rough-and-tumble, seven-seat SUV. While not a direct replacement for the aging Territory (that role will eventually be filled by either the Edge or Flex, according to Car Advice) it's an indication from Ford's brass that the Blue Oval is still committed to Australia.
To prove that fact, Alan Mullaly, Mark Fields, Jim Farley and regional execs descended on Sydney for the debut of the new concept. Ford's Australian president and CEO, Bob Graziano, said of the Everest, "Our customers, our employees and Australia can be assured that we're connected to the nation and committed to our customers through terrific products with class-leading technologies."

V8-powered 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor R spied testing alongside Ram TRX

Wed, Apr 7 2021

Spy photographers captured Ford engineers testing what appears to be a 2022 F-150 Raptor R alongside a Ram TRX this week, giving us a sneak preview of the first major battle in the coming war for super-pickup dominance.  Ford has remained tight-lipped about the Raptor R's performance specs. We know only that it will be powered by a V8 (likely a variant of the 760-horsepower, supercharged 5.2-liter unit from the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500), and that it's due to break cover some time later this year. Given that the 702-horsepower Ram TRX will be the Raptor R's only competition (and pretty much the only reason it exists in the first place), Ford's decision to benchmark the fast Ram is a bit of a no-brainer.  The Blue Oval's performance engineers have years of practice when it comes to building high-performance off-road trucks, so despite Ram's first-strike advantage and Hellcat trump card, the TRX might actually be the underdog in this fight. Why? Well, based on what we've seen of the EcoBoost-powered 2021 Raptor so far, it should weigh at least 500-600 pounds less than the TRX, and while we expect that gap to shrink with the addition of the bigger engine, it's likely that it will still favor Ford, and perhaps significantly.  While the larger, supercharged V8 will certainly weigh more than the EcoBoost V6, it's still an all-aluminum engine (all SRT motors are based on cast-iron blocks) and Ford still has the advantage of its lightweight body panels. There will likely be more to the Raptor R's chassis modifications than a new set of engine mounting points, since the existing Raptor was not engineered to handle an 800-horsepower engine, but even with the chassis modifications necessary to handle that power, we expect the Raptor R to be the featherweight of the two.  Since Ford plans to get the Raptor R into production for the 2022 model year, we shouldn't have to wait much longer to find out just exactly how it shapes up against Ram's big dinosaur. Stay tuned. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
