color- Clearwater Aqua Metallic. Documented vehicle has a 'Marti Report' showing all the original features it came
with from the factory. This vehicle received an extensive restoration including all mechanical, paint, interior,

my ownership. The odometer reads just over 56,000 miles which may be original since it was parked for 30+ years,
but mileage is not documented. Below is a list of major mechanical components rebuilt with under 200 miles of use:
1) 1967 GT 390 4V engine (block casting # C7ME, heads #C7AE) completely rebuilt & balanced with .030" TRW forged
pistons & mild performance camshaft.

weatherstrip, new high quality Robbins top with glass rear window, new front windshield, new 15 x 7" Styled Steel
wheels with new 60 series BF Goodrich T/A radial tires, all stainless exterior trim removed & polished, most
exterior chrome redone, heater system rebuilt, new dual exhaust system, & much more.
This Factory GT Convertible is also loaded with the following options:
- GT equipment group-fog lights, dual exhaust, disk brakes, performance steering & suspension, GT badges & decals,
GT pop off gas cap, & more.
- Power disk brakes
- Power steering
- Power top (added as a luxury feature)
- Floor console & shift
- 4 speed transmission
- Limited slip rear end
- Deluxe interior with brushed aluminum décor
- Styled steel wheels (upgraded to 15")
The body on this car is excellent condition, floor pans still show their original red oxide factory primer, quarter
panels are original with factory texture coating on the inside, doors are original with no rust repair & original
door tag, & fenders are original Ford with date stamps. Battery tray apron panel was replaced due to acid corrosion
but the original # stamped portion was retained & goes with the car. Hood was replaced in favor of a deluxe turn
signal unit which is a reproduction.
I have owned many classic & muscle cars over the years & this is one of the best driving big block 4 speed muscle
cars I have experienced. The transmission & clutch work very smooth & effortlessly, steering system responds
nicely, brakes are excellent, & overall this a very easy vehicle to drive.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this rare & highly collectable GT convertible with excellent color
combination. The value on this vehicle will only go up over time & just in time to enjoy over summer!

This 2,000-hp Mustang is in serious need of wheelie bars

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

The Ford Mustang on the right is drag racing with the standard technique. The Mustang on the left, driven by David Measell, is using a new "rear bumper only" technique that evidently surprised everyone at the South Georgia Motorsports Park strip - including Measell.
Measell said his outfit just bought the car the week before the event, noting that it has more than 2,000 horsepower. Speaking of his "flying" run, Measell said, "We turned it up to dip on down," by which he meant they turned up the power in order to get his time down. Turns out all that power and all that traction sent the nose straight up into the air almost as soon as the race began.
He told an interviewer afterward that this was his first race in a "regular car" since he normally drives a pro-mod. "I like my wheelie bars," he concluded. You can see how he got there in the video below.

Ford Australia debuts Ranger-based Everest SUV concept

Tue, 13 Aug 2013

Ford has been in hot water in Australia ever since it announced plans to end local production of the Falcon and Territory SUV. Besides canceling a model that is to Oz what the Mustang is to America, the end of production means more than a few folks will be out of work.
Keen to prove that it has a plan for the market, Ford has unveiled the Aussie-penned Everest Concept, a rough-and-tumble, seven-seat SUV. While not a direct replacement for the aging Territory (that role will eventually be filled by either the Edge or Flex, according to Car Advice) it's an indication from Ford's brass that the Blue Oval is still committed to Australia.
To prove that fact, Alan Mullaly, Mark Fields, Jim Farley and regional execs descended on Sydney for the debut of the new concept. Ford's Australian president and CEO, Bob Graziano, said of the Everest, "Our customers, our employees and Australia can be assured that we're connected to the nation and committed to our customers through terrific products with class-leading technologies."

Ford barely edges surging Chrysler for Canadian sales crown in best year ever

Thu, Jan 8 2015

The auto industry in the US showed strong results through much of 2014 with sales regularly growing year-over-year for many brands. That same trend carried over in the Great White North, as well. Canada posted its best numbers ever with 1.85 million units sold, up about 100,000 vehicles over 2013. The country nearly had a new market leader, too. The big winner among our neighbors to the north in 2014 was Ford with 291,951 vehicles sold, up 3 percent from 2013, according to Reuters. That success also handed the company the sales crown for the fifth consecutive year. In large part, the strong result came from the company's popular trucks, which represented about 80 percent of overall sales. "Ford moved into the number one position in September and didn't look back," said a note to clients by DesRosiers Automotive Consultants quoted by Reuters. However, the Blue Oval didn't exactly take an overwhelming lead for the year. The company nearly had to hand over the sales trophy to FCA after the company rallied in the latter part of the year. The Italian-American conglomerate had its best results ever to nip at the Ford's heels and move 290,004 units for 2014, a 12-percent improvement from last year. Jeep especially helped the bottom line with over 50-percent growth, according to Reuters. Only two other brands were able to break the 200,000-vehicle barrier in Canada for 2014. General Motors came in third place overall with 249,800 sales, up 6.3 percent. The combined Toyota and Lexus also barely jumped the hurdle with 200,851 units moved, a 2.8 percent improvement.
