This is a '23 T-Bucket roadster but it's listed on the title as a 1913. I'm not sure when it was built. It appears to be a survivor form the 1970's or 1980's at the latest. It is a Total Performance chassis and chrome spring-behind front end. The engine is a early '70s 350 block. It has a 6 quart baffled oil pan, a balanced rotating assembly, hi volume oil pump, bow tie 2.02/1.60 angle plug heads with 1.6 ratio rolled rockers and a Weiand tunnel ram with two 450 Holley carbs. The distributer is a Mallory duel point. The cam is a mild street cam. I'm not sure what it is. I've owned this car for 4 years. In that time I've been through it end to end. It has recent brakes, tires and AR wheels front and rear with 18.5 inch Mickey radials on the rear. The interior was done last fall by Ron at Loose Ends Upholstery in Kalispell Montana. The T-400 transmission was rebuilt last year by Bill Smith Transmissions in Bigfork Mt. The car weighs 1,850 lbs. so the horse power to weight ratio is really strong. This is a smokin' little car. It hooks hard and goes straight but it's very mild mannered around town. My wife drives it and loves it. The car won trophies three years running in the "Run to the Rockies" car show here in Kalispell Mt. I will not divulge the reserve price but it is WAY less that 1/2 what the car would cost to build. The car comes with a soft top which is not currently on the car but is included in the sale. If you have questions please ask before bidding. The car is for sale locally. Shipping and transport of the car is the responsibility of the buyer. I require a $1000 deposit within 24 hrs of auction end and payment in full within 3 business days. Thanx, 406-890-4286 Scott |

Can an actual Ford F-150 ride on 4 Power Wheels F-150s?
Tue, Dec 9 2014A lot of kids are rough on their toys, especially when it comes to those made to be used outside, like a four-wheeled kid-size Power Wheels. Whether it's cruising through the sand box, carrying piles of rocks in the driveway or crashing around trees in the backyard, these motorized vehicles often take punishment from the moment the giftwrap comes off. The folks at Fisher-Price decided to give their latest F-150 Power Wheels a true torture test worse than any kid could have ever managed by setting a real 2015 Ford F-150 on top of four of them. Would the little toy trucks explode in a shower of plastic shards in a massive collapse, and if not, could they drive away afterwards? The latest F-150 might be 700 pounds lighter thanks to the switch to aluminum, but it's still a fullsize pickup. According to this clip, the truck weighs in at 4,120 pounds, which puts an average of 1,030 pounds on each of the toys. Check out the video above to see how the stunt goes, and click on the gallery below for some behind-the-scenes looks at the setup.
This woman owns the first Ford Mustang sold in the US
Wed, 11 Dec 2013As Ford celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Mustang with the unveiling of the all-new sixth-gen design, one Chicago women can lay claim to a piece of Mustang history. According to CBS Chicago, Gail Wise was the first person in the US to buy a Mustang in 1964, and she did so two days before the car was even unveiled to the public.
Wise, then a 22-year-old teacher, went into the Chicago Ford dealership wanting to buy a convertible, and a salesperson ushered her over to car covered by a tarp. That car was a baby blue Mustang convertible, which she still owns today - along with the documentation. After sitting for almost 30 years and undergoing a full restoration, the car now looks to be in original condition. The report says that this $3,400 purchase could be worth anywhere between $100,000 and $250,000. While this worked out well for Mrs. Wise, we wouldn't recommend anyone going into a dark, back room of a dealership hoping to get a jump on the purchase of a 2015 Mustang.

Focus ST diesel variant coming, just don't look for it here
Fri, 07 Mar 2014A few years back, Volkswagen made some waves when it announced the Golf GTD - a diesel-powered car that, aside from its ultra-efficient, ultra-torquey engine, was identical to the gas-powered GTI. That meant cosseting sport seats, larger wheels, sportier suspension, larger brakes and a body kit that made the GTD indistinguishable from the GTI, except for the three little letters on the back and in the grille.
Now, Ford is looking to replicate VW's success, with a diesel version of the Focus ST. According to Motor Trend, the diesel-powered ST will use a 2.0-liter, 182-horsepower four-cylinder. With an unspecified amount of torque on offer (we'd guess around 280 pound-feet), the diesel hot hatch should hit 62 miles per hour in about eight seconds.
The report, which originally comes from Auto Express, claims the ST Diesel was confirmed by Ford Chief Marketing Officer Mark Fields during this week's Geneva Motor Show. Not surprisingly, it doesn't appear there are any plans to bring a diesel-powered Focus of any kind to the US, let alone one that uses the suspension, steering and other items from the ST. Of course, if there's an official confirmation from Ford, we'll be sure to report on it.
