you are bidding on a 1917 model t, this car was restored back in the 70's seats and top were redone,new wood floors. the car did not run when i purchased it, I replaced 1 coil, plugs,cleaned the carb, the car runs fine as you can see i registered it and probably put 50 miles on it. I replaced the radiator, hoses, crank coupler, Have new kevlar band material for transmission with the tools to change them,have a new wire harness and have some other parts that go with the car. Need the garage space and dont have the time to enjoy it. thanks looking good luck bidding.

California Man Reunited 33 Years Later With Thunderbird

A California man was at a loss for words when he was reunited with his prized 1964 Ford Thunderbird on Tuesday, 33 years after it was stolen from a bar parking lot. Gary Chartrand could hardly believe how well his old Thunderbird held up in the last three decades. The odometer had only added about 1,000 miles from when he last saw the car back in the 1980s. "A few bumps and bruises but boy, not much changed," Chartrand told KOVR. Chartrand bought the car as a present to himself after finalizing his divorce from his wife of 10 years in 1981. It disappeared one night from the parking lot of a Sacramento bar where he was working. Police found Chartrand's car 750 miles north in Washington State. Amazon looking to bring Kindle to your next car?

Maybe so. The online retailer and digital media monolith recently announced the Amazon Cloud Player, an application for Ford Sync that allows users to stream media from their Amazon Cloud account directly to a Ford vehicle. This foray into automotive technology got the minds at Gigaom.com thinking about what could be next for Amazon. As Kevin Fitchard writes, the logical step is to make audio versions of your Kindle library selections available in your car. As he points out, Amazon has already laid the groundwork for such a move.
Amazon pulled the sheets back on Whispersync for Voice last year. The tech pairs ebooks with an Audible book for a small extra fee, allowing users to either read along with a narrator or switch between audio and text versions on command. Fitchard says it wouldn't be some great leap to apply the same principles to a car, where voice recognition software would allow users to pause or select chapters without ever taking their eyes off of the road.
It all sounds just fine to us, but Amazon hasn't said a thing about such a move. Still, we wouldn't be surprised to see the company come down this road in the near future just the same.

Ford, Volvo top 2014 EyesOn Design awards

Each year at the Detroit Auto Show, the top vehicle designs are recognized with the prestigious EyesOn Design award for production and concept vehicles. This year, the 32 EyesOn Design judges (comprised of current and former vehicle designers including Chrysler designer and SRT president Ralph Gilles, Kia designer Peter Schreyer and retired General Motors designer Wayne Cherry) handed out three awards for the Best Concept Vehicle, Best Production Vehicle and Innovative Use of Color, Graphics, and Materials.
Beating out the Mercedes C-Class and Ford F-150, the 2015 Ford Mustang was named the Best Production Vehicle as the top auto show debut at this year's Detroit show. The 2014 Volvo Concept XC Coupe took home awards as the Best Concept Vehicle and for its Innovative Use of Color, Graphics and Materials.
Considering the Volvo's primer grey hue and subtle orange accents, it was a rather surprising winner for Innovative Use of Color, Graphics, and Materials over flashier concepts like the Toyota FT-1 and our Editors' Choice top pick, the Kia GT4 Stinger.
