For Sale is a 1929 Ford Model A Pickup Truck. Engine does not run but turns freely. I purchased this truck from the previous owner's son. His father had begun to do a complete restoration in the late 1990's and was not able to complete it prior to his death. The truck was running and driven prior to him starting the restoration. The truck had been stored in a barn in Grafton North Dakota till I purchased it in July 2012. It has been stored in my garage since I purchased it.

The truck is 95% complete and comes with many extra parts. I purchased a new" top roof and cab wood kit"(both still in the boxes), along with a new wiring harness and new set of floor boards. There is also a new muffler and a good used one that will go with the truck. There are some missing items that still need to be purchased (ignition switch,hoses,back glass etc). The generator and starter are included but will probably need rebuilt. The front windshield and passenger glass are broken but intact. the driver's window roles up and seems fine. There is rust on the frame and body as expected for a vehicle of this age. There are rust holes in both side kick panels and in the inside front of the driver's side bed. Overall solid truck. The side splash aprons are included(not shown on truck but are pictured). I purchased an extra used pair that will go with the truck . The bed wood is gone but I have put plywood in the bottom to hold extra parts. The seat cushions don't appear to be the correct ones but those are the ones that came with it. There are 2 sets of extra wire wheels . 1 set that fit's the 28-29 years and 1 set that fits the 30-31 years. There are also extra parts that are shown in the pictures. The steering wheel is not mounted but can be very easily. I am selling the truck because I have too many projects and this one is way down on the list. Truck comes with a clear North Dakota title. Vehicle is for local pick up only. Truck is located in Tucson Arizona. Truck Sold AS IS . No Warranty

I also have a rebuilt flathead 4 cylinder engine that would fit this truck . It does not go with the Truck but is available to purchase separately if desired. Please email with questions or concerns. California has celebrated the groundbreaking of the country's first high-speed rail system. The ceremony took place in Fresno, in the San Joaquin Valley, situated along the line's initial route through California's Central Valley. The train will travel at speeds of up to 220 miles per hour, delivering passengers from San Francisco to LA in less than three hours when finished by 2029. California eventually plans to extend high-speed rail service north to Sacramento and south to San Diego, with a total of 24 stations. The project is expected to cost a total of $68 billion, but could potentially ease road and air traffic, as well as the pollution that comes with it. Since January, automakers have announced investments totaling $9.5 billion in U.S. plants, creating or retaining more than 12,000 jobs. Some of those companies have yet to announce just how many jobs will be created given their investments, with the location of many of those jobs still to be determined. Specifically, the 4,000-job Toyota-Mazda joint venture plant still hasn't announced its location, with numerous states jockeying for it. Hyundai has plans to invest $1 billion but has not announced a jobs number yet. And likewise Ford is investing $1.2 billion in Michigan without specifying a number of jobs. Volvo this week announced plans to add a second line to its factory under construction in South Carolina, spending another $500 million and adding 2,500 jobs to the 2,000 it was already trying to fill. Then Thursday, Daimler announced a $1 billion expansion to its facility in Tuscaloosa, Ala., to produce EV batteries and electric SUVs, a move that will add 600 jobs to its hiring this year. Ford recalls Explorer and Lincoln MKC for fire hazard

The Basics: Ford will recall 5,536 examples of the 2016 Explorer and 2015-2016 Lincoln MKC. The Explorers have build dates between October 20, 2014, and January 28, 2016, at the Chicago Assembly Plant. The MKCs are from between November 25, 2013, and January 25, 2016, at the Louisville Assembly Plant. In total, there are 3,129 total affected examples of the 2015-2016 Lincoln MKC and 2,407 examples of the 2016 Ford Explorer. Of these, 1,543 are in the US and 3,993 are in Canada. The Problem: The combination of the engine block design and the block heater in these vehicles can cause the part to overheat when plugged in. Injuries/Deaths: None reported, but there are two cases of underhood fires in Canada. If you own one: Ford will begin notifying owners during the week of May 16, company spokesperson John Cangany tells Autoblog. Ford is aware of two reports of underhood fires in Canada, but is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this issue. Affected vehicles include certain 2015-2016 Lincoln MKC vehicles built at Louisville Assembly Plant, Nov. 25, 2013 through Jan. 25, 2016 and certain 2016 Ford Explorer vehicles built at Chicago Assembly Plant, Oct. 20, 2014 through Jan. 28, 2016. There are 5,536 vehicles affected by the issue, including 3,129 2015-2016 Lincoln MKC and 2,407 2016 Ford Explorer vehicles, with 1,543 of the affected vehicles in the United States and federalized territories and 3,993 in Canada. Dealers will remove and replace the engine block heater with an updated design and, if needed, replace the cord at no cost to the customer.
