2006 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Shortbed SRW 4x4. 18" OEM polished aluminum wheels. The truck has recently had ARP Head studs, PMM Titanium head gaskets. Perfomance Machine EGR delete. New Ford OEM High Pressure oil pump. New OEM oil cooler installed. The heads were completely remanufactured with all new valvesrpings, valve job, resurfaced, etc... The intake was vatted and steam cleaned. Injectors were sent to be tested and all 8 came back with a clean bill of health. They are less than a year old and were installed by the Ford OEM dealership in 2012 prior to the recent reliability upgrades. SCT SF3 tuner is included and required for EGR delete, has 3 preinstalled tunes for towing plus a 120HP performance tune. The only tune installed on the truck is the modification of the EGR delete to prevent the computer from setting the Check Engine light. ALL RECEIPTS are available for parts and labor of the recent upgrades, totalling approx $6000 in parts and labor. This truck was purchased in good condition/used/ and upgraded with the intent of keeping it permanently for personal use but recent family additions have justified the need for a smaller, more family oriented vehicle. Tires are approx. 60%. Transmission shifts excellent and is in great shape. I chose the Superduty because of the 5R110 transmission which is one of the most reliable light truck transmissions available. Exhaust is OEM factory inc. catalytic converter. No suspension or performance modifications to the vehicle ever, as far as I know. Truck serviced regularly by Ford dealership. Clean and Clear Title in hand. No RUST! As this is a southern truck! Vehicle must be picked up in person, or shipping arranged and paid by the purchaser. Payment must be cash at time of pick-up, cashiers check at time of pick-up, or personal check sent to me and successfully deposited prior to pick-up of the vehicle. $500 pay-pal deposit IMMEDIATELY REQUIRED within 24 hours of auction end. Vehicle must be paid for in full within 7 days of auction end. Vehicle is for sale LOCALLY as well and I reserve the right end the auction early. Thanks and good luck!

Trump tells Detroit 3 CEOs he wants more US jobs, calls environmentalists 'out of control'
Tue, Jan 24 2017As expected, President Donald J. Trump met with top executives from FCA, Ford, and General Motors this morning as part of a larger push to generate jobs in America. "I want new plants to be built here for cars sold here!", Trump said in a tweet ahead of the meeting. Not everything said in the meeting was made public, but the President later tweeted that he had a "Great meeting with automobile industry leaders." FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne, Ford chief Mark Fields, and GM's Mary Barra all echoed the positive vibes after the meeting. In a statement, Barra called the discussion "very constructive and wide-ranging," adding that it focused on "policies that support a strong and competitive economy and auto industry," and "that supports the environment and safety." That's noteworthy, because Trump is reported to have said "I am to a large extent an environmentalist. I believe in it, but it's out of control." Fields, speaking to reporters after the meeting, said, "We're excited about working together with the president and his administration on tax policies, on regulation and on trade to really create a renaissance in American manufacturing." The Ford CEO was specifically talking about Trump's withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. "We've repeatedly said that the mother of all trade barriers is currency manipulation, and TPP failed in meaningfully dealing with that, and we appreciate the president's courage to walk away from a bad trade deal," he said. Marchionne focused on American manufacturing in his statement after the meeting. "I appreciate the President's focus on making the US a great place to do business. We look forward to working with President Trump and members of Congress to strengthen American manufacturing." Perhaps equally as interesting as what was said and who was invited are what wasn't said and who wasn't invited. Trump has been very vocal about his distaste for US automakers' plants in Mexico, but no mention was made of the North American Free Trade Agreement by Trump or any of the Detroit CEOs after the meeting. We also have to wonder if Trump plans to meet with representatives from German, Japanese, and Korean automakers that have made massive investments into American plants and produce a large number of cars in this country. Here's what the UAW will be angling for in next year's contract negotiations
Mon, Dec 15 2014The United Auto Workers union is about to enter a new round of negotiations with the Detroit Three automakers, and this time, the focus is on the end of the two-tier wage system. Introduced in 2007, the two-tier wage system was enacted to allow General Motors, Ford and Chrysler to categorize its hourly employees under two categories: Tier 1 for veteran employees with full rights and benefits, and Tier 2 for short-term or entry-level employees compensated under a different schedule. The idea was that the system would permit the automakers to invest more in their plants and hire new employees as part of their respective recovery plans without being saddled with all the costs associated with hiring full-time employees. Now that the automakers are (more or less) back on their proverbial feet, however, the UAW wants to see an end to the two-tier system, and will likely make that a center-point of its negotiations next year to replace the current arrangement that is scheduled to end in September 2015. Not all members of the UAW will necessarily be interested in ending the two-tier system, however. According to The Detroit News, some Tier 1 workers may be more interested in negotiating a raise in their hourly rate – something which they haven't received in almost a decade. Tier 2 workers, meanwhile, may be more motivated to keep the tiered system in place, as their arrangement includes provisions for profit-sharing payments that have seen the automakers pay out billions to so-called short-term employees in lump-sum payments. Reconciling the two competing demands from two categories of union members and presenting a united front in negotiations may prove the biggest challenge for the UAW's new president, Dennis Williams. And with the right to strike – something which was suspended during the last round of negotiations in 2011 – the union has a bigger bargaining chip in its pocket.
Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
