Selling our old service truck. We have owned this pickup since new, and it has been well maintained. It just had a new clutch and U-joints installed. it is a 4 speed manual with a 4x4 transfer case. It has a 4.11 rear end. It has a newer engine with approx. 25K on it. Everything in the pickup works like it should. There is no noticable rust or dents, and it has never been wrecked or been to the body shop. It has an AM radio, roll-down windows, and no A/C, also, it has 2 fuel tanks. Tires are in good shape. The flatbed on this pickup is a 8' bed that is 6' wide. The bed also has a below the bed fifth wheel ball that is accessable should you need to pull a trailer. In it's former life, it was used as a ranch pickup for fixing fence. In 2003, we converted it to a service pickup to build corrals. The following items come with the pickup:
Miller Trailblazer DC 300 amp welder with a 10KW generator. it has only 233 hours on it, and we purchased it new in 2002 or 2003. It has been shedded every night, and covered when not in use. it has 4 120V receptacles on breakers and a 250/50A receptacle as well. We have changed the oil every 50 hrs. It also has a run/idle mode so the welder idles until load is applied. This feature is excellent as it reduces excess noise and fuel consumption. You can add on TIG or MIG functions to the welder, as well as a remote if you so desire. We will include the cover for the welder, and the 75' hot and ground leads.
Victor cutting torch and bottles. Victor Journeyman cutting outfit. large oxy and acetylene bottles. the oxygen bottle is through the floor for stability and safety. I believe that the torch has 50' of hose, though it could be less. We haven't used it much, and the bottles are nearly full.
Sears 3HP oil air compressor. I think it is a 25 gallon horizonal model, with a motor and pulley for the compressor. We run it off the generator. It works well.
36Lx24x24 toolbox mounted on rear driver's side. Also has spare tire mounted on the back as seen in pictures.
This is a good around the farm repair unit and is able to go almost anywhere with 4wd. Selling it as a unit. Have clear title in hand, and owner's manual for welder. I encourage you to ask any questions or come inspect the pickup before purchase. Thanks for looking. Seller reserves the right to cancel listing as item is available for local sale.

Ford Smart Mobility plan moves forward with P2P car sharing
Wed, Jun 24 2015Back when 2015 was still just days old, Ford Motor Company outlined its Smart Mobility plan at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. It consisted of 25 global experiments meant to test out various ideas, with a stated goal of learning how to better address future transportation needs and direct the company's efforts. Six months later, Ford is ready to take what it's learned and move to the next phase. During the keynote address at the 5th annual Further with Ford future trends event – this year held, significantly, in Palo Alto, California – CEO Mark Fields announced Smart Mobility is moving from experimentation to implementation. Mostly. On the more concrete action side of things, Ford Credit Company is working with partners in the US and London, England on a pilot peer-to-peer car-sharing program. Stateside, this will see it team up with Getaround, inviting some 14,000 people in six cities to sign up for pre-screened, short-term car rentals. Across the pond, Ford will work with easyCar Club, targeting 12,000 folks in a similar service. Smart Mobility will also bring the GoDrive one-way car sharing program under its umbrella, upgrading it from what it calls an experiment to an actual pilot program. Fields also revealed a new electric bike design called the MoDe:Flex. The sporty model joins its two previously announced brethren, the MoDe:Me and MoDe:Pro. MoDe:Link, the app that provides a variety of info and allows for eyes-free navigation using hand grips that give haptic feedback to parlay direction changes has been extended to run on an Android smart watch. There, the app can process a rider's biofeedback signals to alter output. For instance, in "no sweat" mode, the bike will pick up more of the workload as your heart rate increases, keeping you from overexerting yourself. None of the bikes are being offered for sale, or for use as part of any sort of sharing program. At least, not for now. Instead, they remain in the realm of multimodal mobility experimentation. Check out the video above for a closer look at Ford's P2P car sharing plans or move down for a look at its latest ebike. You can find lots of detail about the shift in the Smart Mobility plan in the official press release, which is also below. This content is hosted by a third party. Ford pits Cobra Jet versus GRC Fiesta ST, worlds collide
Thu, 31 Oct 2013Racing takes on many forms in the automotive world. There are sanctioned events that are as varied and diverse as NASCAR, Formula One, Global Rallycross and drag racing, and to be good enough to win competitively in one discipline, you need to have a specialized vehicle. Or do you?
Ford decided to find out what would happen when its Global Rallycross Fiesta ST, driven by Tanner Foust, lined up against its Mustang Cobra Jet drag racer, driven by Roy Hill. In one lane, Tanner has just 2.0 liters of displacement to work with, while Roy has more than double that, at 5.0 liters. Evening the playing field a bit, Tanner has a massive turbocharger and all-wheel drive; Roy has to filter all his supercharged power through the rear wheels only.
So, who wins? We suggest you see for yourself in the press release and video below. And we're holding out hope that Tanner's challenge at the end results in another video from Ford Racing...
Ford EcoBoost successful because of Soviet laser weapons system expert?
Sun, 28 Jul 2013Mike Kluzner is a man of many talents. Not only is he the software engineer responsible for fuel system diagnostics for Ford globally, he "got his start designing laser weapon systems capable of disabling the navigation systems of enemy satellites" for the former Soviet Union. Quite a résumé, wouldn't you say?
You may be asking yourself the same question that popped into our minds upon reading about Mr. Kluzner: What do laser weapon systems have to do with Ford and its EcoBoost engines? We'll let the man answer himself. "The same process for analyzing key physical relationships works for what we do today in engine combustion, catalyst chemistry and mechanics," says Kluzner. "These are all part of Ford's software engineering expertise." Who are we to argue?
Ford also employs an engineer who previously designed software to detect damage to the heat tiles on the International Space Station, as well as one who's past work involved particle physics, says the automaker in the press release below. David Bell (pictured above right), global boost system controls engineer for Ford, describes the software running EcoBoost as "the secret sauce" that makes the technology work as the driver intends and demands.
