I am selling my 2008 F150 FX2. It has 73000 Miles on it. I have had this truck for 3 years, (bought it in 2010 with 38000 miles) and it is has been an awesome, reliable and fun truck to drive. I have gotten tons of complements on it.
In addition to the standard equipment which I will list below, this truck also has flow master exhaust. It sounds really mean, but is a pleasure to drive....its not to loud when your in the cab. It also has 2 10 inch Kicker Subs under the back seat (removable), with the amp hidden in on the back wall, and a bass volume knob under the dash. I will miss this stereo. I also Rhino lined the bed and put a back flip tonneau cover over it, which has been great.
The truck has a rebuilt title. It was in an accident in 2009 in texas, and purchased by a family who fixed it up, retitled to a Rebuilt title....it and sold it to me. I have loved it ever since....I just need a small car with high gas mileage for a new sales job. The rebuilt title is why I am selling it cheaper than the book value of 18,000. The truck looks great, as you can see from the pics below, but it is not perfect...it has small scuffs and imperfections here and there as a normal 5 year old truck would. The back bumper probably has the most scuffs.
Here are some of the options:
2008 Ford F150 V8
FX2 Package with Limited Slip Differential
Premium 20 inch wheels - tires only 5 months old
Side step rails
Flow Master Exhaust
Full leather sport seat interior with power seats
Premium Sport interior dash with center console
Sport Gauges
Bed Liner
Tonneau Cover
Power windows / Locks / etc
Rubber floor mats
This is an absolutely killer truck for the price. I am very glad that I bought it, and spent 3 awesome years, and whoever buys it will definitely enjoy it just as much.
I am in downtown orlando, message me with questions or to setup a time to swing by and see it.
Thanks!
-Mike

Europe's most-wanted classic car is... the Ford Mustang?
Sat, 28 Sep 2013Over the span of its 49 years and five generations, the Ford Mustang has held a special place in the hearts of automotive enthusiasts in the US, but, as it turns out, this car is also very popular amongst European car lovers. Earlier this summer, AutoScout24 - a new and used car shopping site in Europe - polled around 75,000 European "car lovers" (not sure how they vetted the respondents) to see which cars were the most popular, and the Mustang came out on top over iconic European classics like the BMW M1 and Volkswagen Beetle.
In the whole of Europe, 37 percent of those polled dream of owning a Mustang, but that number jumps in individual countries like Austria (42 percent) and Spain (41 percent). Rounding out the top five popular classics in Europe are the Mini and Citroën 2CV. Find out which cars made up the rest of the top 10 in the press release posted below.
Ford reveals automated Fusion Hybrid
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Autonomous cars may still be in their infancy, but more and more big names in the auto industry are diving in head first. Nissan is already making strides with a semi-autonomous Leaf EV and General Motors is planning to offer semi-autonomous tech by 2020. And then there's Google, doing its thing with a fleet of Toyota Prius. Now, Ford is showing off its latest automated effort, a driverless Fusion Hybrid.
Partnering with the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and State Farm Insurance, the project is part of Ford's Blueprint for Mobility, the company's plan for transportation beyond 2025. "The Ford Fusion Hybrid automated vehicle represents a vital step toward our vision for the future of mobility," Chairman Bill Ford said. "We see a future of connected cars that communicate with each other and the world around them to make driving safer, ease traffic congestion and sustain the environment."
The automated Fusion features four LiDAR infrared sensors that scan the road 2.5 million times every second, using a principle similar to the echolocation used by dolphins or bats. Using the infrared light emitted by the LiDAR, the car can draw a picture of everything within 200 feet to create a map of its surroundings. According to Ford, the sensors are able to tell the difference between a paper bag and a small animal from a football field away.
Retro Wrong: MotorWeek shares first unaired pilot episode
Fri, Apr 17 2015MotorWeek is an automotive institution in the United States. We all have to get our start somewhere though, and for the latest entry in the Retro Review series, the show is releasing its unaired pilot for the first time. Even today, the program isn't necessarily the most exciting thing on TV, but the modern incarnation looks like Top Gear compared to this original, very monotone attempt. The cars on display are more interesting from a historical aspect than actually being behind the wheel. MotorWeek puts the Chevrolet Citation and Ford Fairmont head to head. If you want to see progress in the auto industry, look here. The Fairmont manages a rousing 85 horsepower from a 3.3-liter inline six, and the Citation does only a little better with a 115-hp, 2.8-liter V6. The other highlight comes at the end when John Davis talks about the cars of the future. These include the upcoming introduction of the Ford Escort in the US and the mention of a possible gasoline-electric hybrid from General Motors. Given this pilot, it's amazing MotorWeek ever got the green light. However, if you're a fan of auto history, seeing the news from the past is always fascinating.
