2001 Ford Excursion Limited 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel Leather Power 4x4 Lifted Ac on 2040-cars
Calais, Maine, United States
Vehicle is in great condition. Some minor rust but otherwise sound. Vehicle has 205000 miles so it is barely broken in as far as the 7.3 Powerstroke is concerned. Is a two-owner vehicle with no accidents. All working as built. Has 6-Inch all spring lift installed and has 37-13.50-18 tires on 18x9 XD series rims. No money spared building this great vehicle. Glow shift 4-Gauge Pillar installed and working, Ranch Hand Legend Front Bumper, Tow Package, Ice cold AC, S&B Cold Air intake, TS-Performance 6-position Chip, MBRP 4" Turbo back exhaust, 2005 Harley davidson edition front end conversion (Grille and headlights). Two sets of KC lights installed on front brush guard and wired to come on with high beams. Full leather interior, 3 rows, seats 8 with third row installed, can be easily removed, all leather in great shape. A great vehicle that has many years of run time left in it and is sure to invoke comments. I have owned for the last year and can answer any questions you may have, ASK AWAY. Vehicle has a ton of options. Curt brake controller installed and will be sold with the vehicle. Factory 6 CD changer. Transmission rebuilt 8000 miles ago and has a 24 month warranty. Truck runs great and gets 18MPG even with the lift. It is easy to get in and out of thanks to NFAB Running boards/Nerf Bars. All maintainance has been done at regular intervals including fuel filter changes, oil changes, and brake replacements. vehicle can tow 16000 easy off the bumper. The front bumper is rated for 10000LB of pull. The paint on the veicle is in good condition with some minor surface rust in a few places. Vehicle saw one winter in Maine. I garaged the vehicle last winter to prevent further salt damage. The vehicle is the utmost in comfort for long trips and is great for towing large loads or campers long distances with enough room to comfortably fit the whole family and all the luggage you may need. The third row seat is easily removable and goes back in in a snap making this vehicle hugely versatile. With the thrid row out and the second row folded flat there is approximately 8'3" of space, allowing studs and other lumber to easily be loaded in the back for home improvement projects. We will have to communicate to arrange shipment, delivery or pickup. Buyer to pay for arranged method. I reserve the right to sell the vehicle locally if possible and listing will be removed. Vehicle not advertised locally.

Ford Fiesta ST in startling track battle against Toyota GT86
Wed, 26 Jun 2013On the surface, there's very little that the Ford Fiesta ST and Toyota GT86 (or the Scion FR-S that is sold in the US, or the largely similar Subaru BRZ) share in common. One is a hatchback with power coming from a turbocharged engine routed to the front wheels. The other is a coupe with power coming from a naturally aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine routed to the rear wheels.
Thing is, both of them are reasonably priced performance cars aimed at a similar segment of the automotive marketplace, so a comparison isn't out of the question. It is with all of this in mind that we direct you to the video below, in which the blokes from Evo pit the two manic little machines against one another on a race track. The result? Well, it can be summed up this way: Fast versus fun.
See how the track battle goes down in the video below.
Ken Block and friends race light in silly-beautiful Castrol commercial
Wed, 28 May 2014How does one make fast, loud, drifting cars better? Well, you can add more fast, loud, drifting cars or you can add lasers. Either or, really. In this case, Castrol did the right thing and added both, creating a highly stylized commercial for its Edge Titanium motor oil starring South African racer Adrian Zaugg, BMW factory driver Augusto Farfus, Audi DTM and Le Mans staple Mike Rockenfeller and some bloke named Ken Block.
Their cars? No surprise, but Block is in his Ford Fiesta GRC, while Zaugg samples a Lamborghini Aventador and Farfus and Rockenfeller drive along party lines, with a BMW M4 and an Audi R8, respectively. And those cars look good, too, thanks to the creative light and laser work on display.
Take a look below for the video from Castrol.
2016 Ford Mustang SVT hides big power under its domed hood
Tue, 17 Jun 2014With a number of 2015 Ford Mustang versions finally available to configure, the fun of speculating about next year's high-performance 'Stang can now begin. It looks like Ford has something seriously fun planned too. One of our spy photographers just snapped some fresh pics of the 2016 Mustang SVT, which is believed to be hiding the final body shape under all of that heavy camouflage.
Ford clearly doesn't want prying eyes looking at its new pride and joy. It would be hard to put much more obfuscation on a car than this one wears - it even has mesh baffles around the exhausts to conceal how many there are and panels over the wheels to hide their design. However, the Blue Oval can't keep everything a secret. The biggest clue that something special is hidden underneath is the massive hood bulge and vent in front of it. Clearly, whatever is under there is hungry for cool air. The shape of the camo indicates that there may be fender vents on each side, and there are also obscured outlets behind the front wheels likely to pull cool air through the brakes. At the rear, the concealment does its job, making it hard to observe any big changes. The fact that Ford wants it kept such a secret might indicate something, though.
A few photos of the interior show far less cover than the outside. You can easily make out the model's 6,500 rpm redline with a possible 7,000 rpm over-rev function. The big Recaro sport seats also look quite supportive.
