2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor Only 84k Miles on 2040-cars
Cortland, Ohio, United States
Up for sale in my 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and gorgeous hard to find Toreador Red that shines as new. This P71 has only 85K miles and drives and handles like a dream The exterior: The gorgeous Toreador color shines as like, only minor scratches. This unit never had any police decals. I served as a take home unit for a supervisor with the Organized Crime Division. It was always a slick top. Only one small police antenna on the trunk and a police spotlight. Underneath is as clean as the top. There is absolutely NO RUST. Only one small ding from the inside of the windshield by the driver side. But nothing to worry about. Engine and Tranny: I simply drove this unit back to my home in Ohio approx. 480miles. It rode like a dream with no issues at all. Both the engine and tranny are very responsive, powerful, and very fast. The cruise control works great, windshield and every factory option works great. The heat and AC also work great. Honestly this unit handled and drove as if it was a new vehicle. There are absolutely no vibrations, no strange noises, and it drove straight with no swaying at all. This unit has four almost brand new police high speed rated Good Year tires and a full size spare in the trunk. The interior: This unit has black to dark charcoal color interior that is in above average and great shape. The seats have no rips, stains, or any strange odors. The carpet is also in great shape with only very minor wear by the driver side. The rear seat is almost new as if no one ever sat on it. The ticket light works and there are absolutely no warning lights of any kind with this Unit. The engine and tranny: Very responsive as at any speeds, very fast, and with only 84K miles this unit is not even broken in yet. This unit will serve its new owner for many years to come. There are no leaks or any odd noises as the engine is running. Even the horn works. All emergency equipment have been professionally removed and tucked away. This unit comes with the police center council that you could use for installing any police radios and emergency lights. It also includes two cup holders and an arm rest. This unit could actually be put back to service and will go 300K miles with no problems. This is a great P71 and simply my words and pics will not do it justice because it is very clean. Feel free to stop by for a test drive. Bid with absolute confidence and please feel free to contact me for any questions you may have at 773-255-9856. I am currently driving this unit locally and the mileage may change a bit. This unit is also listed locally and I have the right to end this auction at any time. Thank you all for your time and interest and I wish all the best of luck. Sincerely, Neil On Sep-15-14 at 13:03:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I apologize for the spelling mistakes. I have fat fingers and typed faster this time. Please contact me if you have any questions. Thanks |

Rolling footage of the 2015 Ford Mustang hits YouTube [w/video]
Thu, 26 Dec 2013Just in time for the holidays: Ford took the 2015 Mustang to Route 66 to cook up rolling footage, and we've been given some of the leftovers ahead of the meal. There are no burnouts, no donuts, no revving, and thankfully, no music. It's just two minutes and 26 seconds of the new pony car running free in the desert.
So in case you needed more visualizing help, the video below will help you start imagining how you'll look in your 2014 Christmas present to yourself...
Editors' Picks March 2021 | Ford Mustang Mach-E, Polestar 2, Land Rover Defender and more
Thu, Apr 8 2021The month of March was unofficial minivan month here at Autoblog. We drove all of them but the Kia Carnival, but don’t worry, you wonÂ’t have to wait much longer to read that review. Among all the family-toting machines, we drove some more exciting vehicles including the Land Rover Defender and a pair of up-and-coming EVs. It was a month of excellent cars, meaning that this monthÂ’s litter of EditorsÂ’ Picks is stacked. In case you missed FebruaryÂ’s picks, hereÂ’s a quick refresher on whatÂ’s going on here. We rate all the new cars we drive with a 1-10 score. Cars that are exemplary or stand out in their respective segments get EditorsÂ’ Pick status. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. The list that youÂ’ll find below consists of every car we rated in March that earned the honor of being an EditorsÂ’ Pick. 2021 Ford Bronco Sport 2021 Ford Bronco Sport First Edition View 32 Photos Quick take: Ford's baby Bronco is an authentic foil to the big Bronco 2-Door and 4-Door. It brings rugged styling, better-than-average off-road capability and thoughtful utility features to a generic segment of cars. Score: 8 What it competes with: Jeep Compass, Jeep Cherokee, Mazda CX-30, Subaru Crosstrek, Kia Seltos, Chevrolet Trailblazer Pros: Stellar design, excellent off-road, clever interior details throughout Cons: Pricier than most, average transmission, underwhelming interior quality and ambiance in lowest trims From the editors: Road Test Editor Zac Palmer — “I genuinely enjoy driving this cute crossover. It feels like a mini truck on the road, and Ford admirably translated the design from its big Bronco over to this Escape-based crossover. News Editor Joel Stocksdale — "The Bronco Sport isn't perfect, the transmission could use some work, and it's a little bumpy, but it's a characterful little thing with loads of style, great visibility and space, and impressive capabilities on and off road in the powerful Badlands form." In-depth analysis: 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Review | Bronco for the masses  2021 Land Rover Defender 2021 Land Rover Defender 110 View 64 Photos Quick take: The Land Rover Defender provides everything you'd hope for in a modern Land Rover: superlative off-road capability, surprisingly plush on-road demeanor, abundant interior space and abundant character. The base four-cylinder is likely all you'll need and lower trim levels provide more than enough equipment.
Bodie Stroud seriously updates the 1956 Ford F-100 into the BSI X-100
Tue, Mar 24 2015If you thought pickups could use a lot more love in the resto-mod world, then Bodie Stroud – he of "The Real Thing" Mustang – has something for you: the BSI X-100. His team starts with the body of a 1956 Ford F-100, but the sheetmetal is about all the nostalgia you're going to get; the body, tweaked with a chopped hood and a larger rear window on the cab, sits on a custom steel ladder-frame chassis. Out back is a one-piece, tubbed bed, and behind that are taillights from a 1948 (gasp!) Chevrolet. Under that hood is either a 412-horsepower, 5.0-liter Ford Racing Coyote crate engine, or a supercharged, 6.0-liter, 630-hp Ford Racing Aluminator motor, shifting through a Ford 4R70W four-speed automatic. Inside, the dash is reworked to fit gauges from a Ford F-150 King Ranch Edition, and the bench is swapped out for buckets from a Mustang GT. The independent front and four-link rear suspension are adjustable, helping to make room for staggered wheels - 19 inches in front, 20 inches in back, and larger can be accommodated. Six-piston Wilwood brakes handle the stopping. There's a lot of fabrication and hand-work involved, and it doesn't come cheap: BSI says the turnkey package starts at $180,000. If you've got it, this is an exceptional way to flaunt it. The press release below has all the details. THE BSI 1956 X-100: TIMELESS LINES, MODERN TECH New pickup from Bodie Stroud Industries melds the iconic style of the 1956 F-100 with a cutting-edge chassis and drivetrain to create a hand-built, all-new truck with the performance and reliability of a modern sports car. Sun Valley, Calif. (March, 2015) – In an era when anyone can walk into a dealership with good credit and a yearning to go fast and drive out in a 500+ horsepower sports car, owning and driving something truly unique has become a challenge. With that in mind, the craftsmen at Los Angeles-based Bodie Stroud Industries (BSI) have come up with something truly special – a brand new line of hand-built, turn-key pickups with the looks and sheet metal of an American icon, subtly massaged and fitted to a modern chassis and powered by the latest engine, transmission and electronics from Detroit. The result is the world's first all-new, turn-key 1956 Pickup: the BSI X-100. "When most people think about classic trucks, what comes to mind is usually the 1956 F-100, it's one of the most timeless designs of all time," says BSI founder Bodie Stroud.
