1966 Ford Bronco 4x4 Hard Top Soft Top Daily Driver on 2040-cars
Ottumwa, Iowa, United States
It is a very fun Bronco to drive. The 6 cyl engine is original as far as I can see and it
always fires right up. The 3 speed manual on the column shifts all gears like it should. I installed a new clutch
this last summer. The speedo works great. the gas gauge did not work,
I put on a after market temp gauge as I used it a lot in summer and always wanted to see the running temp. It works great and the Bronco doesn't over heat etc. The lights are working. I have the Hard top and the full soft top. The soft top I bought new last year. Both fit like they
should. I have the door window frames ( I removed them as I never had the top up much etc) The tires are good. The
4x4 works. The I had the bronco repainted a few years ago and it looks good. You can see some daily driver stuff
from me using it and wear from a few years, but overall very clean. The interior is original how I got it. The rear
seat is great and the passenger side seat looks good. the driver seat has some cracks in the upholstery, it did not
bother me for what I used it for but you can recover it etc. It has the roll bar. The underside looks good and
solid.

2015 Ford Mustang [w/videos]
Thu, 05 Dec 2013
It'd be unwise to bet against the sixth generation of this legendary nameplate.
The 2015 Ford Mustang is assuredly the most anticipated new vehicle of the year. The redesigned Pony Car has been the subject of frantic gossiping and covert spy photos covering everything from the way it looks to the tech it will include, its performance, mechanicals and a bevy of other aspects of Ford's performance icon.
Ford set to target pre-school market with next F-150 variant
Tue, Jun 17 2014How do you build a strong group of loyalists from the next generation of American drivers? You start em' young. Ford has taken that lesson to heart, as we can see in the first batch of images of the company's new entry to the pre-school market, the Power Wheels F-150. This particular example was caught returning from testing around Ford's base of operations in Dearborn, MI – covered in tiny little bits of camouflage, too. Now, this could very well end up being a collaboration between Power Wheels and Ford. Then again, it could just be some bored engineers that decided to troll the local congregation of spy photographers, who earlier today captured images of the next Focus RS and SVT Mustang. Whatever it is, it's pretty darn cool. Take a look up top for images of the new Power Wheels F-150.
With contract expiration days away, UAW targets GM first for negotiations
Tue, Sep 3 2019The United Auto Workers union on Tuesday said that it would target General Motors as the first of the Detroit automakers for talks ahead of the current four-year contract's expiration on Sept. 14. This year's contract talks between the union and GM, Ford and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV are expected to be contentious as U.S. new vehicle sales are slowing and automakers face rising costs associated with the development of electric vehicles and self-driving cars. Rising healthcare costs, job security, profit sharing and the use of temporary workers are expected to be major sticking points. GM in particular has been a target of union ire since announcing the closure of five North American plants late last year. That move drew a wave of criticism, including from U.S. President Donald Trump. Trump has repeatedly prodded GM and last week said the No. 1 U.S. automaker should begin moving its operations in China back to the United States. "We are prepared and we are all ready to stand up for our members, our communities and our manufacturing future," UAW President Gary Jones said in a statement. In a statement, GM said, "We look forward to having constructive discussions with the UAW on reaching an agreement that builds a strong future for our employees and our business." The contracts come at a difficult time for the UAW, as a federal corruption investigation into the union continues to grow. Last week, the FBI conducted searches at Jones' home, a union retreat and multiple other locations, including the home of the union's previous president, Dennis Williams. To date, seven people linked to the union and the automaker have been sentenced in the government's corruption investigation. Reporting by Nick Carey.
