I just repainted my bronco to a midnight brown. I have a Cold Air Intake and a Master Flow Exhaust system on it with a 3" exhaust tip. I've put in a New Fuel Filter, Fuel Pump, Tires, Tie Rods, Shocks, Ball Joints, and I've put in new spark Plugs (All in the last year). I keep my Bronco in TIP TOP SHAPE! there is a New Front Windshield and upgraded Ultra headlights and new tail lights and covers. There is a After Market stereo system inside. I get 16MPG in the city and 21MPG on the HWY with the bigger tires I've put on it. Before I put these bigger tires on.. I was getting 18MPG in City and 23.5MPG HWY.  Let the pictures speak for themselves. I've put a lot of time and money into my bronco. I'm only selling my bronco to get a new project vehicle. My Bronco is a SMOKE-FREE vehicle. It has a 2 1/4" Ball on the back with a ball cover. The A/C has been converted to R134A. I've got a extra parts for the Bronco that will come with it as well, such as, A spare distributor cap and a spare ball joint and a trailer plug for the back.  I bought this bronco from a Little Old Lady that literally drove it rarely and let it sit in the driveway. then I got it and drove it about 10,000 miles and put 10,000 dollars into it. I've got 3 sets of keys for it. I'm willing to drive the Bronco to where ever you live. As long as the Price is right. If you want to look at it and you live close, you can set up a time and date to come up and see it. or I can send you more pictures. If you want to pay the price I could even send it on a truck to you. If your interested. Message me. And if you want to work out something I'm open to just about anything and any trade or offer. This vehicle Blue Books for $8800 STOCK... I do have Upgraded after market Parts installed into it.

This 1969 Ford F-100 has a Cadillac CTS-V engine lurking underhood

Fri, Jan 30 2015

Something always feels just a little taboo when someone builds a custom and then slots in a powertrain from a rival automaker. That's exactly the case with this modded 1969 Ford F-100 boasting a highly tuned LSA supercharged V8 like from the second-gen Cadillac CTS-V. However, with a claimed 800 horsepower on tap thanks in part to running an estimated 20 pounds of boost, it's easy to get over any bad feelings. Built by Tommy Pike Customs in South Carolina, the truck tries to keep the exterior looking somewhat stock. Although, the jade green and satin gold paint, Quaker State logo, lowered suspension and black wheels immediately suggest something is up. Once the F-100 starts up with its menacing growl, absolutely any doubts of this beast being unaltered are immediately gone. Not so obvious are some tweaks to actually help put all that power down, including disc brakes and independent suspension setups at the front and rear. The video gives some glimpses at a few of Pike's other creations, but the real star here is definitely his mean, green Ford.

Ford settles class action suit over defective Navistar diesel engines

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

The 2003 Ford F-Series Super Duty (shown above) introduced the 6.0-liter Power Stroke diesel supplied by Navistar, and while that is an engine Ford would love to forget, it's now one step closer to putting that particular problem behind it. Automotive News is reporting that Ford has settled a class-action lawsuit brought on by problems with this engine that started right out of the gate and ultimately broke up the 30-year relationship between Ford and Navistar.
Owners and lessees of 2003-2007 Super Duty trucks and E-Series vans equipped with the 6.0-liter Power Stroke are eligible for deductible reimbursements of between $50 and $200 from the original five-year/100,000-mile engine warranty, while Ford is paying out as much as $825 for out-of-warranty engine repairs. These repairs may include the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler, EGR valve, oil cooler, fuel injectors and turbocharger, but are only covered if the components failed before six years or 135,000 miles.
In total, Ford has agreed to pay about 50 percent of the value of the repairs and deductibles paid by its customers who submit a claim before the end of this year, and $150,000 is going to the 16 named plaintiffs in the case; Navistar was not included in the lawsuit.

Ford adds 850 jobs to build 2015 F-150

Tue, 14 Oct 2014

Pickup trucks tend not to advance at quite the same pace as the rest of the industry. That's what makes the new Ford F-150 so remarkable, jettisoning its old steel construction in favor of aluminum. It's a game changer that Ford is betting big on, and in anticipation of surging demand, the Blue Oval automaker is adding 850 new jobs to put the thing together.
Those 850 new employees will be centered at Ford's Rouge complex in Michigan - with 300 at Dearborn Stamping, 50 more at Dearborn Diversified and 500 at the Dearborn Truck facility, the latter of which has already kicked off what Ford describes as "the largest manufacturing transformation in decades." Old manufacturing equipment is being replaced with the latest technologies, and even the Ford Rouge Factory Tour is undergoing a complete overhaul.
The new jobs come as part of the commitments Ford made to the UAW in 2011 to create 12,000 hourly jobs in the United States by 2015 - a number which Ford has already exceeded at 14,000. Over 4,000 of those are centered in southeastern Michigan.
