Berlinetta Coupe, ONE OWNER, Rosso Corsa Red w/ Tan Leather Interior, 16k Mi, Cambelt Service Done August 2013 1995 Ferrari 355 Berlinetta 2-Door Coupe
Vehicle Description 1995 FERRARI 355 BERLINETTA COUPE ROSSO CORSA RED Tan Leather Interior ONLY 16,000 MILES CAMBELT SERVICE COMPLETED August 2013 VALVE GUIDES REPLACED 1995 BEST YEAR-MOST COLLECTIBLE We bought the car from a collection in TX. At the time we had little history on her except she was a ONE Owner car. We had her shipped directly to F1 Imports and Exotics in Naples where she was checked over by the technicians. Being a 1995 model we half expected the leak down test to fail because of the valve guide issue and although only one valve failed and then only just we decided to have the engine out, heads send away for the guides to be replaced and while the engine was out do a comprehensive cam timing belt service along with all fluids. We also refinished all of the interior plastic parts due to the dreaded Ferrari stickies. By the time all the work has been carried out she will be mechanically as nice as she is comsmetically. She came complete with Books, Tools, and Records. You don't see as many Coupes as you do Spiders and cetainly not as many 6 Speed's. Don't miss out on your opportunity to buy this soon to be classic with no accident history and fully serviced ready to go to her new owner. If you are looking for the right car not just the right price this is definitely the one you have been waiting for with no interior sticky pieces and absolutely no shrinkage of the dash. We at Black Horse Motors specialize in the best of the best and for a 18 year old car you won't find better. The Ferrari GTC4Lusso T ditches the V12 and AWD for a turbo V8 and rear drive
Thu, Sep 22 2016Ferrari continues to turbocharge its lineup with the latest addition – the GTC4Lusso T. This car has the same body as the four-seat GTC4Lusso, but features a turbocharged V8 and sends power only to the rear wheels, a recipe that might just make the gorgeous, elongated hatchback even better to drive. Aside from the addition of the T badge, the majority of the updates were made under the car's body. Gone is the beastly naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12, and in its place is a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8. The new engine is similar to the one found in the California T, but it has been revised to make a little more power: The 3.9-liter in the GTC4Lusso T puts out 602 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque. That's a 78-hp decrease from the GTC4Lusso's V12 motor, but 46 lb-ft more. View 17 Photos While some will see the decrease in power as a downgrade, which it kind of is, the GTC4Lusso T is rear-wheel-drive only and, according to Ferrari, lighter. Much of that weight savings comes from removing the trick all-wheel-drive gearbox that sits in front of the V12 GTC4Lusso's engine, and its absence also shifts the vehicle's weight bias towards the rear, with a 46:54 split. Ferrari claims the GTC4Lusso T's turbocharged V8 has been engineered for everyday driving with modular torque delivery and a muted exhaust note at low speeds. The vehicle's dynamic systems have also been updated with the 4WS (rear-wheel steering) and Side Slip Control (SSC3) now more responsive to steering wheel inputs. No performance figures for the turbocharged V8 model have been released, but the GTC4Lusso T should manage to get close to the GTC4Lusso's 0-to-62 mph time of 3.4 seconds, but have a lower top speed than the V12 model, which tops out at 208 mph. Already missing the naturally aspirated V12 and all-wheel drive? Don't fret, as a Ferrari spokesperson confirmed that the automaker will continue to sell the GTC4Lusso alongside the GTC4Lusso T. The new model will make its world debut at next week's Paris Motor Show. Ferrari F50s duel in world's most improbable tug-of-war
Thu, 11 Apr 2013If it wasn't obscene enough to go off-roading in a Rolls-Royce Phantom or rally driving a Ferrari Enzo, the Tax The Rich crew has gotten its hands on a pair of ultra-rare Ferrari F50 models to perform a tug-of-war battle, which we usually see reserved for pickup trucks. Only 349 F50s were ever built, but this video pits two of them against each other by attaching a rope to the front ends, throwing the shifter into reverse and punching the throttle.
As we've come to expect from this video troupe, the action starts off with plenty of gravel-chucking, dirt-road drifting before the two cars finally meet head-to-head. Scroll down to watch the 520-hp V12s screaming in reverse as the tires smoke away.
Jock Clear, Lewis Hamilton's race engineer at Mercedes, moves to Ferrari
Sun, Dec 28 2014The HR office at the Ferrari Formula One team has been exceptionally busy this year, and the churn hasn't ceased. Just this month under new team principal Mauricio Arrivabene – the third team principal in 2014 – lead designer Nikolas Tombazis and engineering director Pat Fry were let go, and tire performance expert Hirohide Hamashima will leave the team at the end of the year. Now there's another batch of HR paperwork to be completed, but this is a new hire to join Sebastian Vettel and Esteban Gutierrez: Jock Clear, Lewis Hamilton's performance engineer this season at Mercedes AMG Petronas. Clear will take over Pat Fry's vacant role as head of engineering, and brings a Driver's World Championship pedigree with him, having helped Hamilton to his second title and Jacques Villeneuve to his sole title in 1997 with Williams. He hasn't joined the Scuderia yet, though; Ferrari is still negotiating with Mercedes to "secure his services as soon as possible." Clear will work in a totally revamped engineering department and report to technical director and ex-Lotus F1 man James Allison. The last time Ferrari went an entire season without a win was 1993. The team has attempted to hedge expectations for 2015, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne saying, "I think hopefully within the next 12 months we will remove all the baggage of uncertainty that is going to plague at least the initial phase of 2015." Hope springs yet, though: when Arrivabene was asked what he'd be happy with next year, he said, "two or three wins."
