This is a pristine example of the 348. This car has the ability to turn heads everywhere you go while offering a firm yet comfortable ride. From the moment you fire up the engine you know your in something special. It has a sound like no other and a feel that you cant ever forget. Included,as shown, are replica 360 wheels with very good tires. I have the original wheels with brand new BF Goodrich g-force Comp 2 tires that have seen less than 50 miles, purchased this year. DOT numbers and dates are current on the tires, and lug bolts for the OE rims are also included(see pictures). This car has had some electronic upgrades, professionally installed to update the technology as I will outline below. The leather seats have been re-covered with a very high quality, exact color match leather. When you open the door of this car it smells as if it were brand new. The floor mats are new with the original Ferrari logo heel pads. Rubber, custom floor mats are also included to help protect the floors. Every item on this vehicle is functional. I disabled the power seat belt system due to the impractical functionality of the design. The system can easily be reconnected if you desire. The paint on the car is not original. We had it repainted using Glasurit, the original paint used at the factory. The repaint was completed in August of 2015, this year. It has still yet to be buffed and polished due to cure time. The windows were tinted with Lumar lifetime Ceramic film in September of this year, using 30 percent film. Mechanically this car is sound. The brakes, steering and suspension feel factory fresh. There are no rattles or squeaks when you drive.

Watch the Ferrari LaFerrari get put through its paces by Top Gear and Evo

Wed, 30 Apr 2014

Do you know what today is? Well, besides being the anniversary of the signing of the Louisiana Purchase (thanks France!), Consumer Protection Day in Thailand and Michael Waltrip's birthday, April 30 marks the expiration of the first of two embargoes on the Ferrari LaFerrari.
That means you're probably going to see quite a bit on Ferrari's hypercar in the coming days. One of the first things we've stumbled across is this video from our friends at Top Gear. Now, this isn't Jeremy, James and Richard playing with the ultra-powerful hybrid (although it's probably only a matter of time before the LaFerrari arrives at Dunsfold), it's the TG magazine crew. It's best to think of the Top Gear video as an appetizer, though.
The main course comes from Evo, which has a far lengthier and more detailed spot, running a full 10 minutes of fun. Dickie Meaden samples the 900-plus-horsepower monster on both the Italian roads and the Fiorano test track. We won't spoil the outcome, so be sure to take a look below for both videos.

Petrolicious gets super Seventies in a Ferrari Dino 208 GT4

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

The Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 was the automaker's first sports car with a V8 mounted amidships, and that formula quickly became the Italian automaker's bread and butter. The 308 in the name denotes a 3.0-liter V8, but for the Italian market, where a tax was imposed on cars with engines larger than two liters, Ferrari decided to de-bore the V8 to avoid the tax. Thus the 2.0-liter Dino 208 GT4 was born, and New York resident Bradley Price likes his 1976 model just the way it is.
Price initially was attracted to the Bertone-styled wedge because it "fit into the whole aesthetic of the space age and of the boundless possibility of [the late 1960s and 1970s]," he says in the Petrolicious video, adding that the opening scene of the original The Italian Job struck a chord with him, and the feeling never left. With 170 horsepower on tap, the 208 isn't very quick, but, in his opinion, it has a sweeter song than the bigger V8 and the driver-centric interior is one of his favorites.
Watch Price snake the original wedge through some East Coast back roads in the video below, and, just for kicks, we've also included the opening sequence of The Italian Job.

Celebrating the Ferrari F40 and the man who raced it

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

The Ferrari F40 has become one of the iconic cars of the last 50 years. It presaged the supercars of the future with its extensive use of carbon fiber and turbocharged engine, but it was also old school with no traction control, stability control or even anti-lock supervision to save the driver if they got in over their head. In its latest video, XCar Films takes a look at the F40 through the lens of a man in the UK who specializes in keeping them on the road and occasionally races these quintessential sports cars.
John Pogson has spent his entire life surrounded by engines. His father was a transport manager for a trucking company and he used to accompany him out on repairs. When he was old enough, John started repairing vehicles at a Lancia dealer, and from there, he started working for Ferrari. Eventually, he saved up enough money to open his own, independent Italian car garage. His new business proved successful, and Pogson's customers started asking him to race their Ferraris, including the F40 - something he did with great success. How could you say no to that opportunity?
While Italian cars are his specialty, Pogson also has a soft spot for all performance cars. The video shows him driving his AC Cobra with a claimed 600 horsepower and doing some smoky donuts in it. Scroll down to learn more about the F40 from one of the people that knows it best.
