Great running truck is a 1977 Dodge D-100 in Great Original condition. The motor is a 318 with 55k miles on the factory engine. This truck drives better than most cars on the roads today it doesn't pull, shake or jerk you a smooth ride. The flaws has some minor paint chips (no rust) and a few little dings that could easily be fixed. Needs new door mirrors. The radio doesn't work (I've never looked at it) and gas gauge does not work. The new things that i know of are tires, battery, spark plugs and wires, carb has been replaced I have the original still. Truck might need new shocks soon in front I drive it they are fine to me at this point. This truck starts up with no problems and runs great down the road at 65 I don't push it much past that due to the gearing. 2X4 with a 3 speed trans. I am the third owner of this truck was bought new by a guy who left in in his garage

Takata air bag recall list

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration confirmed yesterday that 33.8 million vehicles with Takata airbags are going to be recalled. It's the largest recall in automotive history. The already record-breaking rate of automotive recalls this year shows no signs of slowing down, especially since millions of cars with defective airbags made by global supplier Takata are under ongoing scrutiny. The federal government is warning owners that inflator mechanisms in the air bags can rupture, causing metal fragments to fly out when the bags are deployed. The faulty air bags have already been blamed for multiple deaths. How do you know if your vehicle is safe? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration released an updated list of vehicles under recall. Sometimes however, the government's website will crash and the list may not be complete. Check your VIN at the NHTSA website to make sure. The list of cars affected by the recall has not been released, but seem to span multiple models over the years for many of the automakers.
