1991 Dodge Stealth R/t Turbo Hatchback 2-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
New Martinsville, West Virginia, United States
| This is a 1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo AWD that I purchased for my son through Ebay.  The car is originally from California. I have been driving it for  the past couple of years, and it's a great vehicle to drive!  It has superior horsepower (300 HP, I believe) and when the turbos kick in, you can pass anyone!  Additionally, it gets over 27 miles per gallon on a trip!  We replaced the engine in it (with a used one) when the car had approximately 75,000 - 80,000 miles on it) I also had new leather installed on the seats after we purchased it. Overall, I would rate the car in 'average-to-good' exterior and interior condition (based on the year and mileage) and 'good' condition in terms of the running condition of it. The car is all-wheel drive, and is great to drive in the winter. I have also been faithful to carefully maintain the car so that it operates smoothly and efficiently. Following are the repairs that I've had done to it over the last 5 years: $ 177.64 08/27/2009 Replace right headlamp, right front C/V boot $ 881.46 08/31/2009 Replaced driver circuit power transistor $1,050.00 08/31/2009 Replaced Electronic Control Module $ 623.81 11/09/2009 Replaced SRS airbag module and repaired wiring to left strut $ 584.08 05/10/2010 Replaced crossover tube in radiator system and installed used head for heater control $ 139.92 03/04/2011 Repaired fog lights and power antenna $ 489.08 03/02/2011 Replaced all four tires $ 386.43 04/27/2011 Carrier bearings $ 227.43 05/09/2011 Installed carrier bearings, removed driveshaft assemblies and installed center bearings $ 434.47 02/27/2014 Replaced front axle and battery $4,994.32 TOTAL OF MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS OVER THE LAST FIVE YEARS This is a good, dependable source of transportation for someone, and with a new paint job, could be a show car! Good luck trying to find a more dependable, exciting car for only $6500! |

Find these Star Wars-themed Dodge muscle cars near you
Sun, Dec 13 2015Getting excited for the upcoming release of The Force Awakens? Well you're not alone. Aside from the legions of fans squeezing into their costumes to line up for the theatrical premier on December 18, Dodge has been roaming the streets of Los Angeles with three Star Wars-themed muscle cars. And you can track where they're going on Twitter. The trio includes a Charger and Challenger, both in SRT spec, with Hellcat engines, and wrapped to look like Stormtroopers from the First Order Legion like the Fiat 500e we saw at the LA show last month. They're joined by a Viper ACR done up in a black livery inspired by Kylo Ren – one of the villains in the upcoming sequel. The special squadron has been patrolling the streets of LA since Friday and will be through Monday. If you spot them, you can post their location to Twitter with the hashtags #Dodge and #TheForceAwakens – and if you haven't, you can see where others have in real time. As we go to press, they've already been spotted in Beverly Hills, at The Grove, and on Hollywood Boulevard. Of course, this isn't the first time we've seen cars used to promote Star Wars, or vice versa. Volkswagen famously channeled Darth Vader, Toyota used everyone's favorite droids to advertise the Prius PHEV, and Nissan used Stormtroopers to promote the Juke. Red Bull even had its whole team dressed up in costume at the 2005 Monaco Grand Prix. We doubt this will be the last time we'll see the Force propel itself on four wheels in our galaxy, either. Cruiser's close call caught on camera
Mon, Dec 21 2015A new recruit to the Kansas Highway Patrol experienced his first brush with danger on his first day when a semi truck clipped his cruiser during a traffic stop last week. Public relations officer Tod Hileman said in a Facebook post that the incident occurred when an officer and his brand-new trainee pulled over a black Dodge Charger on I-70 in Trego County, Kansas. Hileman said in the comments that the cruiser was parked two feet away from the white line on the shoulder. Not only did the driver not get over a lane when he saw the stopped cruiser per Kansas law, he seemed to have moved closer to the side of the road. The big rig managed to send the cruiser's side mirror and spotlight flying across the road. The truck could have easily injured one of the officers, perhaps fatally. The truck driver ignored Kansas' Move Over law, which requires "drivers approaching a stationary emergency vehicle displaying flashing lights, including towing and recovery vehicles, traveling in the same direction, to vacate the lane closest if safe and possible to do so, or slow to a speed safe for road, weather, and traffic conditions." With a clear lane to his left the trucker in this case had no excuse. He stopped after the crash and was cited by the officers for failing to change lanes when he saw the stopped vehicles. Being a cop is a risky job. So far this year, 28 officers have lost their lives in the line of duty due to car accidents, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page. Dodge Charger Widebody is rumored on its way for 2020
Mon, Feb 4 2019Grab all the salt you have, save the amount you need for your recommended daily allowance. Mopar Insider reports its sources as having confirmed Dodge will unveil a Charger Widebody for the 2020 model year, in SRT Hellcat and R/T Scat Pack trims. Such a move would copy the trim and aesthetic formula used — to excellent affect — on the Dodge Challenger. The Charger widebodies would get also get unique suspension tuning, and the same 305/35 ZR 20 Pirellis as on the Challenger widebodies, but wrapped around unique, dual-five-spoke designs that are 11 inches wide. There has been talk of a widebody Charger for at least two years, many of those conversations carried out in the same way sleuths parse grainy photos of monsters. In April 2017, Instagram user gtpprix caught a standard Dodge Charger wearing Challenger widebody wheels, spaced so that the rubber extended beyond the fenders. A month later, a YouTube account in the name of Sinister Life caught the same car on video. The license plate doesn't appear to be from Michigan, which is where almost all Dodge prototypes get licensed. On the other hand, early spy shots of Challenger widebody prototypes from 2016 featured this same setup — a normal version with protruding tires. The SRT CEO at the time, Tim Kuniskis, joked about testing the Challenger widebody openly, knowing everyone would think it was a prototype Demon. According to Mopar Insider, engines and outputs won't change on the Charger widebody versions. That means sticking with the 485-horsepower, 6.4-liter V8 in the R/T Scat Pack, and the 717-hp, 6.2-liter V8 in the Charger Hellcat. Looks would change, however, with new front and rear fascias to differentiate the model and cohere with the new lines. That includes a new dual-snorkel hood grille and repositioned intakes, plus tweaked side sills. If it's really on the way, we should know this summer. Such a model would also support recent comments from Steve Beahm, head of Dodge, Fiat, and Chrysler brands, when Automobile asked about how the company will maintain any momentum in difficult days for sedans. Beahm said, "[Our] our job was to [ask,] 'How do we differentiate within the brands that are going to remain passenger-car brands?' ... What we do is we try to make our vehicles look different."
