1993 Dodge W250 Base Extended Cab Pickup 2-door 5.9l on 2040-cars
Watertown, Tennessee, United States
If you are looking for a great truck that is still stylish with no problems and a lot power, look no further. This is a 1993 Dodge 2500 4x4 for sale. It has the original automatic transmission with 110,000 miles on it. The transmission has been serviced and still shifts as smoothly as when it was brand new. The engine is the historic 12 valve cummins diesel that has never been turned up or added to. On average, this truck gets a consistent 19 mpg. All services on this truck have been performed on time and at the dealership. This truck has been a non smoking truck since the beginning. There are absolutely no stains or rips in the carpet or seats. Brand new SuperHide camo seat covers were put on the seats to preserve the immaculate condition. The dash is unblemished with no cracks, stains, or chips. Four wheel drive engages and disengages easily, with front locking hubs also in great condition. All knobs and buttons work on the inside and has nothing to be fixed. The exterior is nothing less that spectacular, just like the interior. The only two imperfections is a small ding in the driver side door. It is not creased and should be able to be popped out easily. Also, there is a small dent in the rear bumper, it has no rust and should also be able to be removed. This truck did not come with a trailer hitch and has never had goose neck, fifth wheel, or hitch installed. Ridding on a Dana 60 front end and a Spicer 7 rear axle, if you wanted to pull something this truck could get the job done! Has been equipped with new 10 ply tires just 4 months ago and has less than 5,000 miles on them. I am the third owner of this truck, and I purchased it from an individual in North Carolina. I have the original owners manual and invoice. Feel free to contact me at 615-351-6450 with any questions.

Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat in the works
Fri, 25 Jul 2014In Autoblog's recent First Drive of the 2015 Challenger SRT with the 707-horsepower Hellcat V8 we found its engine to be as brutally powerful as the numbers would suggest, even if it wasn't the best handler. However, the muscle-car-styling just isn't right for some buyers that need four doors and proper rear seats to haul around the family. It appears that Dodge has their backs, though, because the Hellcat is very likely on its way into the Charger in the near future. Imagine the looks on your passengers' faces when you stomp down on the throttle.
According to Road and Track, when Dodge submitted the Hellcat for engine power certification to the Society of Automotive Engineers, the company included the Charger on the paperwork. That showed that the automaker wanted the engine checked out for the sedan, too. R&T reckons the 707-hp Charger would hit the road about a year from now, clearing the Challenger for a year of exclusivity with the powerplant.
When the Charger SRT Hellcat does hit the road, it may carry a very special accolade. Assuming nothing beats it in the meantime, it might be the world's highest horsepower production sedan. Think on that for a second. Even a Mercedes S65 AMG only has 621 horsepower, though a good bit more torque at 738 pound-feet to the Dodge's 650 lb-ft. So while the beastly engine is getting put into other models, where else would you like to see it? The Ram? Grand Cherokee? Let us know in Comments.
These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).

Lackluster Dodge Dart sales trigger layoffs
Thu, 06 Mar 2014Hidden amidst the overall very positive sales figures that Chrysler released earlier this week were a few disappointments, the biggest of which may be the Dodge Dart. While Dodge sales in general were down 11 percent from a year ago, the Dart's poor figures stood out from the rest - with 4,888 units sold, the Dart was down 37 percent in February.
It comes as little surprise, then, that the automaker has announced layoffs at its assembly plant in Belvidere, IL. According to The Daily Herald, Dodge will temporarily lay off 325 workers "to balance vehicle supply with current sales demand." Put more simply, there are more Darts than buyers at the moment...
We don't think the Dodge Dart is a bad car, but it's playing in a market that offers a few standout sellers, like the Chevy Cruze, Ford Focus, Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. According to AutoPacific analyst Dave Sullivan, as quoted by The Daily Herald, "great incentives on the Dodge Avenger" are also partly to blame for the Dart's poor showing.
