2001 Dodge Dakota Sport Club Cab 4x4-low Miles! on 2040-cars
Blairstown, New Jersey, United States
This is a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 Club Cab. These are my personal favorite trucks. I love the size and the red color is gorgeous. This truck has 97,140 MILES!!! If you are tired of looking at trucks that are beat to death with 150-250,000 miles, this is your Dakota! This truck was never used for work and it shows! You will be hard pressed to find another in this superb condition with these low, low miles. The Dakota runs perfect. All accessories work including the cruise control, air conditioning, power mirrors and power windows and locks. It has a clean Autocheck report with no accidents or other issues. I have driven this truck over 800 miles and the following service has been performed: right side hub bearing replaced, VERY expensive exhaust "Y" pipe with catalytic converters, VERY expensive exhaust manifolds, gaskets and studs (both sides) and oil change and filter. I have a receipt for all work completed. This is a get in and drive away Dakota needing no further known repairs. Driving impression is outstanding....the steering is tight with no wander. The 4x4 works as it should. The transmission shifts perfectly and the motor is quiet and responsive. It has all highway commuter miles up and back on interstate 80 with the cruise control engaged. Oil changed every 3500 miles. It is absolutely amazing how nice and tight this truck rides......without any exaggeration, I can't imagine this truck was any tighter when it had 30,000 miles on it!! NADA.COM clean average retail is over $8600!! Check it out!! I DO NOT RESPOND TO E-MAILS OR TEXTS......if you have a question, please call anytime till midnight. If I am on the phone, leave a message. I RETURN ALL CALLS. My name is Al....(908) 219-sixty-eight-zero-eight. |

2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Video Review | Apex predator
Wed, Nov 15 2017The first time I stepped behind the wheel of the 2018 Dodge Demon, I was pointed down a drag strip, Christmas tree just in view through my full-face helmet. My heart was racing with a mix of nervous anticipation and raw excitement. Since the teasers for this car started rolling out in January, I'd wanted to drive Dodge's monster. This 840-horsepower hunk of steel and plastic was a rolling middle finger to EVs, carbon emissions and global warming. Only in America. The sensation was wholly unique. More so than anything, I noticed the sheer force as I was pushed back into my seat. Watch the video. And here's another one. If it looks like I'm just hanging on, it's because I am. In retrospect, I should have been sitting more upright, but I was trying to watch the revs to get the perfect launch using the transbrake. Still, I managed to get a bit of air between the front tires and the drag strip, if only for a moment. Aside from the sheer force, the most memorable thing was the sound. The scream from the supercharger nearly drowns out everything else. Just beneath that you can hear the 6.2-liter Hemi V8 kicking and screaming a song that sounds like the Devil's own chorus. Still, words don't quite do it justice. Watch the video for the full review. Motorsports Dodge Coupe Performance Videos dodge demon dodge challenger srt demon
Chrysler patents smarter minivan folding seats
Thu, 02 Jan 2014It's frightening to think of how quickly the mice would have overtaken us if we hadn't stayed one step ahead of them with better mousetraps. We'll never have to worry about that in our relentlessly re-engineered world, though. Case in point: Chrysler has been granted a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for an improved design of the already wondrous Stow 'n' Go seating found in the automaker's Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
Introduced in 2005, the Stow 'n' Go was improved in 2008, and based on the drawings of this third-generation improvement, the new design appears to allow stowage of the second row of seats without having to move the front-row seats forward as much. It look like it also involves fewer operations and moving parts, with a portion of the seatback being incorporated into the flat floor when the seats are stowed, as opposed to having a completely separate cover.
It's possible that the innovation may appear on the next-generation minivans expected in 2015, but Chrysler isn't commenting on the patent.
Dodge Challenger spied exercising supercharged Hellcat Hemi V8
Wed, 23 Oct 2013One of the prime complaints against the Dodge Challenger is that, even in SRT8 guise, its 470 horsepower is responsible for hauling over 4,200 pounds of vehicle. For comparison, the 420 hp in the Ford Mustang GT only has to deal with 3,618 lbs. Things only get worse from there, as the higher-performance variants of both the Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro are far more powerful than an SRT8 without adding on much heft.
So what is Chrysler to do? The correct answer is add a whole lot more grunt to its hefty two-door and even the odds. That's where the all-new Hellcat engine comes into play. We reported on this engine in May, and suggested that the Hellcat, a supercharged powerplant based on a 6.4-liter V8, would easily generate 500 to 570 hp and could likely arrive boasting more than 600 ponies.
Chrysler's ace in its sleeve has now been spied testing, with a number of Hellcat-equipped Challengers running the potent new engine both in more urbanized areas and under the sun of Death Valley. The hoods on these testers have been raised to accommodate the engine, and that camouflage over the fascias of these prototypes is there to hide a larger air intake. We also note what appears to be a new split grille under wraps. As for power output, our spies are now suggesting a Viper-equalling 640 hp from the Hellcat-equipped cars.
