The coolest part of the whole car has to be the 440 Big Block that was recently installed. The old 318 was taken out and a 440 with 29,000 miles was installed. Every seal in the entire engine was taken off and replaced with a new one so it doesn't leak at all. Brand new Holley carb, Torker intake and long tube headers. The 727 transmission was completely redone at the time of the swap so the drive-train in this car is 100% solid and ready to rock. New paint job less than a year old. Vinyl top was redone at the same time the paint was done and it looks like new. It's the original vinyl color. The interior of the car is in excellent condition with new seats, carpet, redone door panels and the headliner is in great shape. The dash is cracked in several places. Brand new Sony stereo with 4 Kicker speakers custom fitted into the interior. Custom rear decklid made specifically to accommodate speakers. Stereo sounds GREAT with the new speakers. Over $500 spent in the last month on a brand new exhaust system. 3" pipes all the way out the back to the Flowmaster 40s. It's got 4.10 gears that really make this car get up and go! All the power you should expect from a 440. All-aluminum radiator with dual electric fans so it never overheats. Heater works great and doesn't leak any antifreeze. Only thing that doesn't work is the gas gauge. It's got hideaway headlights from a 1972 Charger because that's what really makes this Charger look like a muscle car. Front bumper was dis-assembled and re-chromed. The wheels came off a 2010 Challenger. All in all the car is a very nice driver. This is one of the nicer cars that you can hop in a drive right away. This car has been in Arizona its whole life so it has little to no rust. If you have any questions about the car please message me or send an email to (ssbiff@yahoo.com) and I will respond as promptly as possible. Shipping can be arranged for an additional fee. please contact me with your zip code if you desire shipping for a quote. Thanks, Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!

Dodge Hellcat orders on hold due to 'unprecedented demand'
Sun, Mar 15 2015Want to get your hands on a 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger or Charger Hellcat to call your very own? We don't blame you, and you're not alone. According to Motor Authority and confirmed by a spokesperson from Chrysler, Dodge has gotten so many orders for its stable of Hellcats that it simply cannot keep up with demand: "Due to unprecedented demand for the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcats, we are temporarily restricting orders while we validate current orders that are in the system." Put another way, if you're waiting for a Hellcat, your wait is likely to be a lot longer than you'd like. We've reached out to Chrysler to find out how long it might take for a new customer to get a new Hellcat, and we'll update if and when we hear back. Chrysler banks $507 million in Q2, trims 2013 earnings forecast
Tue, 30 Jul 2013Chrysler has some good news and some bad news. First, profits were up 16 percent over the second quarter of 2012, bringing the Auburn Hills, Michigan-based manufacturer $507 million on the back of strong demand for trucks and SUVs (a recurring theme this quarter, particularly in the US). Q2 revenue was up as well, from $16.8 billion in 2012 to $18 billion in 2013. The bad news is that the Pentastar's overall earnings forecast for net income in 2013 has been trimmed from $2.2 billion to between $1.7 and $2.2 billion, according to Automotive News.
In addition to the adjusted net income forecast, Chrysler tweaked its operating profit from $3.8 billion to between $3.3 and $3.8 billion. This has gone largely unexplained by Chrysler, perhaps hoping the news of a three-percent increase in its transaction prices for Q2 will allow it to sweep this adjustment under the rug.
The star of the show for Chrysler has been its US sales, which saw a 10-percent jump, both bettering the industry average of eight percent and improving over the same stretch of 2012. As with the increase in transaction prices, Chrysler has the new Ram pickup and Jeep Grand Cherokee to thank. Perhaps most worrying from this report, though, is that every brand in the automaker's stable saw an increase in sales... except for the Chrysler brand itself.
Dodge Vipers selling for $480k in China
Wed, Apr 29 2015Want to get your hands on a new Dodge Viper? Be prepared to pay dearly. It starts at nearly $90k here in the US, but that's nothing compared to what you'd have to pay for one if you lived in, say, China. CarsNewsChina.com reports on one Viper available in Beijing for an eye-watering 298 million yuan – equivalent to about $480,000 at today's exchange rates and representing more than a 500-percent markup. Part of that premium comes down to the Chinese tax code that charges a reported 60 percent for anything with an engine displacing over four liters. And the Viper's, we needn't remind you, is more than twice that. It naturally costs some to import a car to China as well, but most of the rest is pure profit. The Beijing dealership reportedly gets the cars from dealers in California, has already sold three and plans to import several more. The dealer can also get you (or wealthy Chinese individuals) a Corvette Stingray for a comparatively cheap 1.73 million yuan (or $280k). Related Video:
