UP FOR AUCTION HERE IS A 67 CHARGER. I AM LISTING THIS FOR A FRIEND OF MINE SO PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS NECESSARY AND WILL GET BACK TO YOU, USUALLY WITHIN ABOUT 10 HOURS. YOU CAN ALSO TEXT ME QUESTIONS AT 814-341-4644. THAT WILL GET YOU A QUICKER ANSWER. PLEASE DO NOT CALL BECAUSE I CAN'T ANSWER AT WORK MOST OF THE TIME AND I USUALLY DO NOT ANSWER UNKNOWN NUMBERS. OR JUST CLICK ASK SELLER QUESTION. FIRST OF ALL LET ME SAY I AM FAR FROM A CAR SALESMAN. THAT BEING SAID I CALL IT AS IT IS AND NO B.S. I HAVE SOLD NUMEROUS CARS, TRUCKS, ATV'S, ATC'S, MOTORCYCLES, DIRT BIKES. PLEASE VIEW MY 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK THAT I WORKED HARD FOR. I DO NOT INTEND JEOPARDIZING THAT ANY TIME SOON, WHICH MEANS ALL MY ADS ARE AS TRUTHFUL AS CAN BE. THIS 1967 CHARGER HAS THE ORIGINAL 383 ENGINE WITH 76,733 MILES AND ORIGINAL TRANNY. THE TITLE STATES THE MILES ARE EXEMPT, WHICH I DO NOT KNOW WHY BUT IS A COMMON THING IN OLDER CARS LIKE THIS. HOWEVER, THE TRANNY DOES HAVE A SHIFT KIT INSTALLED. THE CAR ALSO HAS AN OFFENHAUSTER INTAKE INSTALLED NOW, TORQUED FOR PERFORMANCE, WHICH DID HELP QUITE A BIT, BUT THE ORIGINAL INTAKE IS INCLUDED WITH THE SALE. THIS CAR HAS A CURRENT PENNSYLVANIA INSPECTION AND IS READY TO DRIVE. NEW PARTS INCLUDE REAR BRAKES, DRUMS, AXLE BEARINGS AND A BRAND NEW REAR BUMPER, WHICH IS QUITE PRICY. THE DIFFERENTIAL IN THIS CAR IS A 3.91 POSI TRACTION. THE TIRES ARE NEWER AND AT LEAST 85% TREAD. THE FRONT TIRES ARE 60 SERIES AND THE REAR ARE 50 SERIES. THE CAR MECHANICALLY IS A SOLID 9-10 OUT OF 10. THE CAR WAS REPAINTED A DARKER BLUE AND THE ORIGINAL LIGHTER BLUE PAINT CAN BE SEEN UNDER THE HOOD, AS SEEN IN THE PICTURES. HONESTLY, THE PAINT IS PROBABLY A 6-7 OUT OF 10 AND IF YOU PLANNED ON SHOWING THIS CAR, IT WOULD NEED REPAINTED. HOWEVER, IT IS A SOLID NICE DRIVING CAR AS IS NOW. ALL THE CHROME AND TRIM ON THIS CAR IS ORIGINAL, SO THERE IS SOME PITTING/FLAWS, WHICH I TRIED MY BEST TO SHOW IN THE PICTURES. FOR THE MOST PART THIS IS A RUST FREE, NUMBERS MATCHING, ORIGINAL CONDITION CAR. THE INTERIOR ON THIS CAR IS PROBABLY AN 8 OUT OF 10 WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE CRACKED DASH AND THE DRIVER'S ARMREST IS TORN, WHICH IS VERY COMMON FOR A CAR 46 YEARS OLD. THE OWNER ORDERED A ARM REST BUT WAS SENT A PASSENGER SIDE ONE IN ERROR, SO THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH SALE. IF I HAD THE MONEY AND WASN'T EXPECTING ANOTHER CHILD, I WOULD DEFINITELY BE OWNING THIS CAR MYSELF AND IT WOULD NOT EVEN BE FOR SALE. I WOULD BUY IT IN A HEARTBEAT! I ENCOURAGE ANYBODY THAT IS INTERESTED IN PERSONALLY VIEWING THE CAR AND POSSIBLY DRIVING (WEATHER DEPENDING), WE CAN SET UP A TIME TO VIEW IT IN PERSON. THE OWNER ACTUALLY HAS A CAR LIFT IN HIS GARAGE THAT HE WILL LIFT THE CAR UP AND YOU CAN TRULY INSPECT 100% OF THIS VEHICLE BEFORE YOU BID OR BUY, ETC. MY FRIEND IS A DIEHARD MOPAR COLLECTOR AND HE IS SELLING ONE OTHER ONE FROM HIS COLLECTION IF YOU WOULD CARE TO VIEW ANOTHER AUCTION FOR HIS WIFE'S '73 ROADRUNNER. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS CAR, I AM SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT AS FAR AS A TRUE SURVIVOR. I AM OPENING THIS AUCTION UP TO WORLDWIDE SALES, BUT IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO SET UP ALL SHIPPING AND COSTS. I HAVE ACTUALLY TRAILERED QUITE A FEW CARS FOR PEOPLE BUT I HAVE LEARNED IT IS CHEAPER TO GO THROUGH AN INSURED CAR COMPANY FOR A CAR WORTH AS MUCH AS THIS ONE, THAT IS BASICALLY IRREPLACABLE. PLEASE NO TIRE KICKERS. I WILL DO MY BEST TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS, BUT WILL MOST LIKELY PUT YOU IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE OWNER IF YOU ARE TRULY INTERESTED. I CAN PUT A SIMPLE BUY IT NOW FOR YOU IF YOU ARE TRULY INTERESTED. THIS CAR IS UP FOR SALE LOCALLY AND AUCTION MAY END AT ANY TIME. THE RESERVE ON THIS CAR IS SET VERY LOW AND AT A GREAT BARGAIN, SO PLEASE DO NOT MISS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THESE CARS FOR SOME TIME AND HAVE SEEN CARS VERY SIMILAR IN MUCH WORSE CONDITION GO FOR MORE MONEY THAN THIS RESERVE IS SET AT. HAPPY BIDDING! THANK YOU FOR VIEWING! EBAY ONLY LETS YOU LIST 24 PICTURES, BUT I HAVE POSTED A TON MORE PICTURES FOR VIEWING IF YOU CLICK ON THE FOLLOWING PHOTOBUCKET LINK:

The Dodge Challenger 1320 is rarer than the vaunted Demon
Tue, Dec 24 2019Dodge stopped making the 840-horsepower Challenger Demon after the 2018 model year, and it filled the gap the coupe left in its range with a slightly tamer variant called 1320. While it wasn't a limited-edition model, production figures released recently cement its status as a future classic. 1320 references the length of a drag strip, which normally checks in at 1,320 feet, and the name speaks volumes: It was built to go flat-out for a quarter mile. It offered all of the go-fast goodies found in the Demon, including a transbrake, a line lock, an SRT-tuned suspension, plus bigger brakes provided by Brembo, and it swapped the supercharged V8 for a naturally-aspirated, 6.4-liter eight shared with the Challenger 392 and tuned to 485 horsepower. It wasn't quite as quick as the Demon, but it remained a race car barely street-legal enough to put plates on, so it occupied a shallow niche. Dodge made 1,054 examples of the 1320 during the 2019 model year, according to Mopar Insiders. Of those, 1,026 units were sold in the United States, and the remaining 28 stayed in their home country of Canada. As for colors, 232 enthusiasts chose Pitch Black, making it the most popular. At the other end of the spectrum, 13 buyers ordered Maximum Steel, which is the rarest color offered to the public. One 1320 was painted in Yellow Jacket, and another in Billet, but they were pre-production cars. To add context, the firm capped Demon production at 3,300 units, including 300 for the Canadian market. The 1320 is returning for the 2020 model year, so it might ultimately become more common than the Demon, but it remains a rare edition that will turn heads at high-profile classic car auctions in a few decades' time. If you've got one, race it, but pamper it off the track, and hang on to it. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Chrysler patents smarter minivan folding seats
Thu, 02 Jan 2014It's frightening to think of how quickly the mice would have overtaken us if we hadn't stayed one step ahead of them with better mousetraps. We'll never have to worry about that in our relentlessly re-engineered world, though. Case in point: Chrysler has been granted a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for an improved design of the already wondrous Stow 'n' Go seating found in the automaker's Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
Introduced in 2005, the Stow 'n' Go was improved in 2008, and based on the drawings of this third-generation improvement, the new design appears to allow stowage of the second row of seats without having to move the front-row seats forward as much. It look like it also involves fewer operations and moving parts, with a portion of the seatback being incorporated into the flat floor when the seats are stowed, as opposed to having a completely separate cover.
It's possible that the innovation may appear on the next-generation minivans expected in 2015, but Chrysler isn't commenting on the patent.
FCA seeks partner to keep building Dodge Dart, Chrysler 200
Wed, Mar 9 2016Mere weeks after FCA announced it was shutting down production of the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200, new hope emerges to give the sedans a stay of execution. Speaking at the Geneva Motor Show last week, Sergio Marchionne said that the company was looking for a partner "who is better at it than we are and who has got capacity available" in order to continue building the models on its behalf. "There are discussions going on now," said Marchionne, according to Motor Trend. "I think we will find a solution. We continue to talk. It's both a technical solution and an economic one. We need to find a solution that works economically." Contracting vehicles to be manufactured offsite is more common practice among European automakers than it is with American ones. Chrysler's former patron Mercedes, for example, has the G-Class built for it by Magna Steyr in Austria, the A-Class by Valmet in Finland, and the R-Class by AM General in Indiana (even though it's no longer sold in the US). This arrangement would, on the surface at least, appear more similar to the deal that Toyota struck with Mazda to build the Scion iA, drawing on the contractor's expertise and capacity to build the small sedan on the client company's behalf. Only rather than basing a new model on one of the partner's existing ones, this deal would ostensibly continue building FCA models on FCA platforms using FCA components. We'll have to wait to find out with whom FCA strikes up the manufacturing deal, but we wouldn't be surprised to see Marchionne turn to a partner he already knows. The company is, after all, at the center of an intricate web of joint ventures and manufacturing contracts. The Fiat 124 Spider, for example, is built by Mazda. The Fiat Sedici that preceded the 500X was built by Suzuki. Models like the Dodge Stealth and Eagle Talon were built in Illinois at the Diamond-Star Motors joint venture before Mitsubishi took it over altogether. And Dodge continued selling the Mercedes-made Sprinter long after DaimlerChrysler split. The Ram ProMaster, though built by FCA in Mexico for the North American market, stems from a partnership in France with PSA Peugeot Citroen. And the ProMaster City is built in a joint-venture plant in Turkey, from which it's also sold by GM as an Opel in Europe and a Vauxhall in the UK. With all those deals coming and going, after all, what would one more add to the complexity?
