1974 Dodge Challenger clear and up to date title and tag. There is no fender tag but I believe the car was either a special ordered package or a Rally package but I cant confirm either or. The car has factory front and rear sway bars a 8 3/4 rear end, factory console shift, HAD factory rally gauges, Has power disc front brakes. No A/C. The car currently has the front clip from a 1970 Challenger and a 1970 R/T bubble hood so you can build a 1970 or build the car to your desire. THIS CAR WILL NEED A COMPLETE RESTORATION SO LETS NOT BE CONFUSED ABOUT WHAT WE HAVE!!!!!! The frame rails are rust free and very solid interior floor pans the front will need some patch work or replaced the rear are rust free but do have a few holes but are repairable. The roof is in good shape but has some surface rust. R/T hood in great shape. trunk lid in great shape. left door in great shape right door has a rust spot that will need a little work but over all in solid shape, door hinges are solid and tight, and rocker panels are in great shape, front fenders are in good shape but will need some repairs. Know for the bad both rear quarter panels will need repair or replaced and the trunk pan is in fair shape . most of the trim is there and  some  of the interior is there. All of the glass is in really good shape and can be reused. THERE IS NO FRONT BUCKET SEATS OR RALLY GAUGES THEY WERE STOLEN BEFORE I COULD PICK THE CAR UP!!!! Engine is out and I don't know anything about it other than its a 1973 318ci and it turns freely and that's all I know on the engine. the transmission is still in the car a 904TF I believe and I don't know anything about it. THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ARE REBUILDIBLE!!! This car would be a GREAT car to restore and that's why I bought it but I am know unable to start a restoration of this magnitude I will be going in for a second neck surgery and will be unable to complete so I hope it will go to someone with as much passion about mopars that I have. so good luck. I HAVE SEEN THESE CARS IN WAY WORSE SHAPE SELL FOR MORE THAN  IM ASKING !!! NOT PICTURED BUT I DO HAVE THE REAR SEATS AND THE FACTORY CONSOLE.... PLEASE LOOK AT THE PIC'S CLOSELY I HAVE LISTED THIS TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK I CAN SEND MORE PIC'S IF YOU NEED CONT 5807616796 I DO HAVE THE CAR LISTED LOCALLY SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION EARLY THANKS AND GOOD LUCK;;;;;;

Junkyard Gem: 1964 Dodge Dart station wagon

Fri, Nov 30 2018

The Chrysler A Platform, built from the 1960 through 1976 model years for the North American market (and for a few years beyond that in Australia and Latin America), was one of Chrysler's greatest hits, if not the greatest hit. We know these cars best as the 1963-1976 Dodge Dart and the 1960-1976 Plymouth Valiant, and they established a reputation for reliability matched only by the likes of the Mercedes-Benz W123 diesel. I still see many of these cars during my junkyard wanderings, but A-Body wagons have become very rare. Here's a tattered '64 Dart wagon that I spotted in a self-service wrecking yard in San Jose, California. 1964 was the first model year for factory-installed V8 engines in the Dart and Valiant (and the Valiant's sporty sibling, the Barracuda), and the 273-cubic-inch pushrod V8 was a sturdy powerplant indeed. The slant-6 engine, though less powerful, went into most of these cars, and for good reason: It was harder to kill than all the world's cockroaches and rats put together. This car would have come with a 170- or 225-cubic-inch version of the slant-6, optimistically rated at either 101 or 145 gross horsepower (probably about 55 horses at the wheels), but I didn't feel like scraping sludge off casting numbers to see if it's on its first or 11th engine. In any case, slant-6 Darts were on the pokey side but would get you to your destination every time. This one has a lot of rust for a California car (in New Hampshire or Wisconsin, it would be considered pretty solid) and the interior is more or less obliterated, so even dedicated station-wagon lovers wouldn't have been motivated to take it on as a restoration project. So another early Dart is poised to be stuffed into The Crusher, for reasons that make good economic sense. This still makes us sad, though. This content is hosted by a third party. Get a peek at the Dodge Demon in the new Fate of the Furious trailer

Thu, Mar 2 2017

Will all of the news that comes out, Thursdays should now be referred to as Demon Days (no relation to the 2005 album by Gorillaz), at least until April. In addition to this morning's news on the Dodge Demon's Launch Assist and beefed-up components, the automaker released a trailer/commercial for The Fate of the Furious that shows a Dodge barrage and a few quick looks at the new car. The film, which opens days after the Demon's debut at the 2017 New York International Auto Show, is packed full of Dodge, SRT, and FCA products. While the few cars shown in the garage look superficially like Demons, they appear to just be standard Hellcats – the hood is wrong, and they are missing the fender flares. On the other hand, the ones in the trailer's chase scene appear to be the real deal, or at least made to look like it, with the big AirGrabber hood scoop and wide-body fender flares. We've seen a few of these cars already on the film's set, so this is no real surprise. The ad itself is a bit strange. The shots of the woman standing in front of the SRT lineup appear to be cut into footage from the film, so she's not actually talking to the cast in these scenes. That's why a narrow-body car bursts through the wall and becomes a wide-body Demon-like thing. Well, the Fast and Furious franchise was built on bad dialog and over the top car stunts, so par for the course? The film debuts on April 14, and expect the Demon around that time, too.
