1967 Dodge Dart Gt Convertible 2-door 4.5l on 2040-cars
Brush Prairie, Washington, United States
Up for auction is a nice and solid west coast 1967 Dart GT E code convertible. This is a rare 273-4bbl column shift automatic, only around 160 of these were built, maybe only half of those have survived. NOM 273 engine and A 904 torqueflite transmission, currently has a 2-bbl carb on it, engine is a mid mileage original and runs well, transmission shifts good and has no issues, an original 4-bbl intake will be included if reserve is met. The car is in very good condition with recent body and paint and most of the interior is new. It is a factory power top but is currently not installed, all components for the top are present and in good shape, restored small bolt Rallye wheels, 8 3/4 open rear with 3.23 gears. all glass is there and in good condition, trim is all there and in good unrestored condition, bumpers are original and good with minor hazing, tires have like new tread. This is a really nice and solid convertible that has had a ton of time and money put into it! It only needs some minor finishing touches to complete it. I have all receipts for all parts and labor. This car has been in dry storage since being assembled after the paint was finished in 2007, only been driven a few times since reassembly! Call with any questions 360-901-5722! I could ramble on here all day. I recommend personal inspections on any car you may purchase, I can and will help with loading if car needs shipped!

Chrysler recalling 280k Dodge Ram 1500 pickups over axle seizures
Fri, Dec 19 2014Following a June investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will be recalling 280,000 Dodge Ram pickups from model year 2005. The issue, NHTSA told The Detroit News, centered on a loose pinion nut, which could cause the rear axle to seize and, potentially, the driveshaft to detach. The affected vehicles were built between January of 2004 and August of 2005, while of the 280,000 trucks, only 257,000 were sold in the US market. According to The News, the recall will begin on February 13, and will see owners report to dealerships to have "a retention feature" added to the pinion nut.
Aficionauto drives Vin Diesel's fast and furious 1970 Dodge Charger
Mon, 15 Sep 2014The Aficionauto host Christopher Rutkowski has a real passion for original and replica cars from movies and television, whether they are from James Bond, Jurassic Park, or incredibly obscure Japanese shows. However, he might have outdone himself this time because he hopped into one of the biggest automotive stars of contemporary cinema. This 1970 Dodge Charger appeared in Fast & Furious and came back in Fast Five, where Paul Walker actually drove it. The menacing, black muscle car will make its return to the franchise in the seventh film, too.
The Fast and Furious Charger is a real beast no matter how you look at it. The interior is nothing more than two seats and a roll cage, and as the video shows, this thing vibrates constantly like a coiled mass of muscle ready to strike. The camera can barely stay in place most of the time. Also, Dom's Dodge is more than happy to do a smoky burnout and leave the driver partially deaf afterward from its wonderful, ear-splitting engine roar.
The Aficionauto also interviews the man who controls the keys to this beast. Bob Hartwig was once an F-15 pilot, but he also loved Hollywood vehicles. Now, he's a partner at Picture Car Warehouse, a company with about 850 cars that supplies vehicles to film studios. This Charger definitely seems to be Hartwig's favorite in the collection, as it should be.
