You are bidding on a 2004 Dodge Caravan 7 passenger van, This is being sold as part of an estate I can give most information in description, we have clear NC title in hand and paper from NC courts you will get clear title your state with ease. This van was owned by a 61 year old lady that passed away January 9th it was a daily driver until then.  I have driven the vehicle 2 miles since that date once to storage once back.  when picked up to list on auction  it made noise at low speed that seemed like rust on brakes from sitting, it has two new tires on rear needs two on front, it is a seven passenger van, and the back seats pop out easily and could be used as cargo van, it shows 125,510 actual mileage, other than visual only known issue is drivers window doesn't work, spoke to local body shop they say around $150 to fix, can't guarantee that. Transmission seems to shift good, runs good power sliding doors work power rear vent windows work, ac blows cold, am/fm/cd/cassette player, v-6 engine. interior looks good except for headliner right at windshield.  these sell for $6000-$12000 on auto trader, we are not a dealer we are family closing estate this is going directly from estate to you, vehicle is AS-IS WHERE IS, local dealer advised $3600 wholesale ballpark figure, we are listing with a reserve of $2500 once it reaches $2500 it will sell, we reserve the right to end auction early and sell on street but once reserve is met it is no longer for sale other than auction.  we think it's a good vehicle with minor issues, it makes some slight noises power steering whine etc. when driving slow on highway none, tires may solve some issues.  we were told by court to sell as is due to if we repair we can not recoup monies spent in other words if I spend $500 to fix noises etc I pay $500 to estate because it all goes to settle estate, pictures will tell story can't answer many questions as owner is deceased. happy bidding, again we are selling to pay off final debts of an estate. good luck.
Under your insurance Can be driven home.

Junkyard 1983 Dodge Rampage has Franco-American roots

Mon, Jun 20 2016

Lee Iacocca and the K-Cars get most of the credit for saving Chrysler after the company's 1979 bailout by the US government, but the success of the Simca-derived Omnirizon platform was a large, if overlooked, component of Chrysler's early-1980s resurgence. The Dodge Omni and Plymouth Horizon were sold in the United States for the 1978 through 1990 model years, and variants included the 1983-1987 Dodge Charger and the Rampage, this well-worn example of which I spotted in a Denver self-service wrecking yard last week. The early Omnirizons came with a Volkswagen-sourced 1.7-liter engine, but all of the Rampage pickups (and their near-identical Plymouth Scamp siblings) came from the factory with a 2.2-liter K-Car engine making 96 horses. This truck has a 4-speed manual transmission, which would have made it reasonably quick by Malaise Era standards. This one had plenty of body filler and rust, even before the crash that sent it on that final tow-truck ride to this place, so it wouldn't have been worth restoring. Still, we can hope that some of its parts will live on in other L-body trucks. Chrysler patents smarter minivan folding seats

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

It's frightening to think of how quickly the mice would have overtaken us if we hadn't stayed one step ahead of them with better mousetraps. We'll never have to worry about that in our relentlessly re-engineered world, though. Case in point: Chrysler has been granted a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for an improved design of the already wondrous Stow 'n' Go seating found in the automaker's Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
Introduced in 2005, the Stow 'n' Go was improved in 2008, and based on the drawings of this third-generation improvement, the new design appears to allow stowage of the second row of seats without having to move the front-row seats forward as much. It look like it also involves fewer operations and moving parts, with a portion of the seatback being incorporated into the flat floor when the seats are stowed, as opposed to having a completely separate cover.
It's possible that the innovation may appear on the next-generation minivans expected in 2015, but Chrysler isn't commenting on the patent.

Lackluster Dodge Dart sales trigger layoffs

Thu, 06 Mar 2014

Hidden amidst the overall very positive sales figures that Chrysler released earlier this week were a few disappointments, the biggest of which may be the Dodge Dart. While Dodge sales in general were down 11 percent from a year ago, the Dart's poor figures stood out from the rest - with 4,888 units sold, the Dart was down 37 percent in February.
It comes as little surprise, then, that the automaker has announced layoffs at its assembly plant in Belvidere, IL. According to The Daily Herald, Dodge will temporarily lay off 325 workers "to balance vehicle supply with current sales demand." Put more simply, there are more Darts than buyers at the moment...
We don't think the Dodge Dart is a bad car, but it's playing in a market that offers a few standout sellers, like the Chevy Cruze, Ford Focus, Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. According to AutoPacific analyst Dave Sullivan, as quoted by The Daily Herald, "great incentives on the Dodge Avenger" are also partly to blame for the Dart's poor showing.
