Here You Have A Nice Older Restored Z Finished in 2008. Hasnt Seen Road Use Untill Last Summer. It Needed The clutch slave and master cylinders replaced and a full Tune up. The injector wiring harness was also replaced new. This Car Had a Body Ground Effects Kit Installed And New Paint to Include New Rims and Tires 6 Years Ago. This all cost 4200.00. New Struts and Complete Brake system was Installed 6 Years ago. for some reason the clutch slave and master cylinders didnt survive and one front brake rotor now needs turned. Ive installed new cylinders. It fires right up and sounds better than most z's I've heard. No valve train noise at all. The fan is annoying thou.. sounds like a turbine jet. The Interior is complete minus a fuse cover and under steering wheel cover. The seats were perfect but are now cracking. Has a dash molded cover which fits like a glove. I cant tell you what the original looks like underneath. The car has rust thru only under both rocker panels but can not be seen with side skirts. The floor pans are original and solid. The Hood Is New Original 240 z and Painted top and inside. There is a few small areas of paint bubbling on two fenders but magnet says no bondo. The body kit did not utilize any of the bumper components..those were entirely removed. All switches are in perfect working order. The speedometer is 10 mph slow due to low profile tires only. The 5 speed in this car clicks into each gear nicely. There is a new emergency cable in trunk that needs installed. The temp gage works sometimes. All other gages and lights are good.
I require a non refundable deposit of 300 within 3 days of auction winning bid and full balance to be paid with in 7 days.
I DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL < CHECKS ARE FINE BUT WILL REQUIRE CLEARANCE WITH MY BANK BEFORE I RELEASE CAR> CASH IN PERSON WORKS ALL THE TIME! |

Malaise Era All-Stars
Fri, 17 May 2013A few weeks ago, we bid a fond happy 40th anniversary to the automotive dark ages of 1973-84 that have come to be known as "The Malaise Era" - the performance ice-age when 160 horsepower was a lot and a 0-60 time of under 10 seconds was remarkable. Like music in the 1980s, everything in automobiledom didn't suck, however. There were a few bright spots. Here are five of our favorites:

This father and son duo terrorize the UK countryside in Datsun 240Z pair
Wed, 12 Nov 2014The Datsun 240Z got a lot of things right when it was introduced, with handsome styling, strong performance and a reasonably affordable price. And while the coupes grew a strong fan base in the US, they remained quite a rarity in the UK. Decades later, a father and son in England have latched onto the car and bonded over their shared love for two completely opposite takes on this Japanese GT
There's already quite a collection of exotics in Mel Streek's garage, and his rat rod 240Z, which he calls the Ratsun, definitely doesn't fit with the rest. On the outside, the Datsun looks ready to fall apart, but it's mechanically perfect underneath. Alternatively, Mel's son, Ollie, has a completely different take for his Z with its perfect, shining paint.
Both Zs sound amazing, though. They have a mechanical, somewhat course exhaust note that's intoxicating to hear. You can definitely tell there's some work going on under the hood. Check out this video from Petrolicious for a father and son who both find something to love in these classic Japanese coupes.
Datsun to unveil second model later this month
Sun, 08 Sep 2013Datsun, Nissan's new sub-brand for emerging markets, has announced plans to unveil its second model. Its first, the Go, was unveiled almost two months ago, and promised affordable, connected motoring for five in a handsome hatchback body. Datsun is following that up with a pair of new models for Indonesia.
The first of these two new vehicles will be shown on September 17 in Jakarta, eschewing the typical auto show debut. It's targeted at so-called "risers," the nickname for a group of highly aspirational customers in the Indonesian market. Datsun developed it locally with help from Nissan, and it'll cost under 100 million Indonesian rupiah (about $8,900 at today's rates).
We'll have the full boatload of information on the newest member of the Datsun family when it debuts on September 17. Scroll on to read the full press release from Datsun.
