EXPORT, NO PROBLEM...

This is an Awesome Rust Free 240Z in super nice, Restored, low mile condition. Classic Z car has been restored and up-graded with performance in mind...meticulously maintained and loved. Has nice period and modern updates to make it a reliable, fun, and FAST driver. Entire drivetrain and suspension completely rebuilt and up-graded less than 10,000 miles ago... have receipts. Looks, runs, feels, and drives great. Excellent daily driver or weekend cruiser, track car, or addition to any collection. A true head turner and a blast to drive.

Body is straight with no rust or collision damage that I can see. Very nice driver quality repaint in Datsun orange presents nicely with only minor niks and blemishes. Underside is super straight and clean. Has period correct color matched slotted mags with great tires... I also have brand new Panasport style 15 inch rims with brand new tires if desired...

Interior is fresh with new headliner and trim and carpet (not shown in pics)... Panels and dash look great. Seats pictured are being redone currently with black inserts... I have nice dark blue Recaro style or electric blue racing style seats if desired... Gauges and electronics work properly, except the clock (of course!). Push button start.

Now for the best part... Rebuilt and massaged L28 Motor starts, runs, and idles excellent... Super responsive with nicely tuned. Headers and custom exhaust sounds like a Ferrari and feels extremely strong. Dual webber carbs and electronic ignition work great. Rebuilt 4 Speed trans with performance clutch and short shift kit shifts smooth through the gears. Suspension has been rebuilt and up-graded with new bushings, Tokiko shocks, Eibach springs and bigger sway bar... feels tight and handles excellent. Stops straight and sure. Has R200 POSI rear!!! A really rare and highly sought after up-grade... EXCELLENT, FAST driver.

Overall this is a Super nice little classic Z in great condition all around... it is extremely well maintained and nicely up-graded. Awesome daily driver or weekend cruiser, or track car. I am a Z collector... this is a great one for any Z car enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, original vintage sports car at a great price.

A few weeks ago, we bid a fond happy 40th anniversary to the automotive dark ages of 1973-84 that have come to be known as "The Malaise Era" - the performance ice-age when 160 horsepower was a lot and a 0-60 time of under 10 seconds was remarkable. Like music in the 1980s, everything in automobiledom didn't suck, however. There were a few bright spots. Here are five of our favorites:

Datsun debuts new seven-seat Go+ in Indonesia [w/video]

The Datsun name may have long since been replaced by Nissan, but the old brand is making a comeback - in certain markets, at least. Nissan relaunched the Datsun brand in July as its new budget brand for developing markets with the debut of the Go hatchback, and has now followed up with the addition of the larger Go+.
Set to be built in Indonesia at Nissan's plant in Purwakarta, the Go+ debuts today in the capital of Jakarta as the second model in the new Datsun lineup. The seven-passenger minivan features flexible seating in a compact form 13 feet long, powered by an unspecified 1.2-liter engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
Nissan isn't saying much else about the model, but hopes the new Datsun twins will account for half of its sales in Indonesia within three years. The low price target for both models - set to come in at less than 100 million rupiah ($8,700) - ought to help it get there. The lineup is then scheduled to reach other markets, starting with India, Russia and South Africa next year.

Datsun to unveil second model later this month

Datsun, Nissan's new sub-brand for emerging markets, has announced plans to unveil its second model. Its first, the Go, was unveiled almost two months ago, and promised affordable, connected motoring for five in a handsome hatchback body. Datsun is following that up with a pair of new models for Indonesia.
The first of these two new vehicles will be shown on September 17 in Jakarta, eschewing the typical auto show debut. It's targeted at so-called "risers," the nickname for a group of highly aspirational customers in the Indonesian market. Datsun developed it locally with help from Nissan, and it'll cost under 100 million Indonesian rupiah (about $8,900 at today's rates).
