Hello Datsun fans, Probably don't have to tell you about the Datsun 240z craze of the 1970's,because it is still just as strong today as it was 40+ years ago. I got my first 240z when I was 16, 25 years later ,this is my 56th 240z build She is a MATCHING #s "RUST FREE" California car ,(THIS HAS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE BEST LOOKING 240's I HAVE EVER SEEN)the last 4 cars have all been Green and the next one is going to be green too.(Kinda grows on ya). This is the finished product of a 2 year build,this car was rescued from a donation yrd. / crusher, With 88k on the odometer and being complete , body was straight & had no rust ,original radio still intact,and interior for it's age ,still in good cond. for 40,this car still had and still does have the dealer booklets inside, Perfect candidate for restoration.

First new Datsun in decade sketched, set for Indian reveal

Nissan's Datsun nameplate revival will begin with two models bound for the Indian market. Nissan has released sketches of a five-door hatchback based on the Micra (codenamed K2) and a top-down view of a hood that could potentially be from a sedan.
The company's press release says all will be revealed on July 15 in New Delhi, India. The Datsun lineup will be first offered in 2014 to that country's ride-deprived residents as well as Indonesia and Russia. Later in 2014, South Africa will join the list.
We've heard Nissan plans for Datsuns to share platforms with company-owned Lada. In January, we heard the projected price tag could be around $3,000 USD to compete with Chinese imports. The official press release (which can be read in full below) says nothing about either of these reports, however.

A quiet drive in the country can be the most relaxing thing in the world. What if it didn't have to end, and you could keep driving for a week, a month or even a whole year? That's what Scott Fisher is doing by taking a one-year sabbatical from work and driving his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster around North America.
"I had owned a manufacturing business in Las Vegas for 16 years. I knew I needed to kinda' get out, and unwind, and get my mojo back," said Fisher.
Fisher's trip has covered over 30,000 miles through 44 states and 7 Canadian Provinces, and it is not over yet. He left from his home in Las Vegas, NV, last spring and drove to the Pacific. From there, he drove up the coast to the Canadian border and aimed the car for the Atlantic. He just posted on his blog about visiting the Nissan headquarters and museum in Franklin, TN, and his next stops are Mississippi and New Orleans, LA.
