***NO RESERVE!***
2002 Chrysler Town & Country with clean and clear title
in hand. This 3.3L Flex fuel gasoline V6 engine minivan is being sold due to a
purchase a new vehicle. It has 138,872 miles and is still driven daily so the
mileage will be slightly increased. Interior: This 2002 Chrysler Town & Country’s interior is navy
cloth. It has third row seating with two foldable bucket seats in the middle
and a foldable split bench seat in the very back. All of the rear seats are
easily removable. The front seat is powered. It also has powered windows,
locks, and mirrors. An aftermarket CD player was installed. Cruise control is
located on the steering wheel. There is an overhead console with an electronic
cluster and a sunglass holder. All of the electronic functions of the vehicle
work properly. Overall it is a nice looking and clean minivan. Exterior: The front grill and the lift gate handle were bought new and are originally made for the Dodge Caravan. The OEM front grill and lift gate handle are included with the minivan. These parts were only replaced due to making the minivan less identifiable along with the rear badges removed, just a personal preference. The body is almost perfect with just some minor scratches and a small dent by the driver side rear bumper. There are no apparent paint blemishes or rust spots except for the normal minor rust under the van. Also, window rain guards were installed. I would classify this minivan as above average for this year. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles every since I’ve owned it. It drives straight, doesn't shake and is very comfortable with no issue in the steering or alignment. The minivan shifts through the gears appropriately but has never had the transmission replaced or rebuilt yet. The engine does make a noise toward the top. This is not a loud knock. I’ve been told it either swallowed a lifter or it is a sensor that went bad like the O2 sensor. This has caused the check engine light to go on, which is burnt out. The engine is strong and acceleration is very responsive and powerful like it is suppose to be. The front wheel drive is also a beast in the snow, especially with this winter. The A/C and heater both work properly. Within the past year (2013), I have bought and installed the following new parts and have receipts:

Chrysler 200 prototype spied for first time with new body
Tue, 17 Sep 2013Chrysler is deep into testing for its next-generation 200 sedan, a new model that is utterly essential to the brand's continued health. The next iteration is tasked with wiping away anything reminiscent of the Sebring, which the current 200 is still based on. According to our spy, this is one of the first of the new 200s to wear a production body rather than the Alfa Romeo Giulietta-based mules that are thick on the ground in Auburn Hills.
Immediately apparent is that the new 200 ditches the awkwardly styled C-pillar that's typified four-door 200 sedans (and Sebrings before them) for years. The new, sleeker roofline is almost more of a four-door coupe than a traditional sedan, which hints that this new car will try to be more fashion-forward than its predecessor. The rear deck is set off by a sporty decklid spoiler, while a set of staggered rectangular exhaust pipes poke out of the bumper.
The front end appears sleeker, and we'd be lying if we didn't spy a bit of Dart through the camouflage, particularly with the headlights. A large, gaping lower air intake is visible, although our spy seems to think it'll shrink before production models debut. Whatever the new 200 ends up looking like, we expect to see a lot more of its styling from Chrysler in the coming years.
Fiat Chrysler joins open pool with Tesla to avoid paying EU emissions fines
Sun, Apr 7 2019According to a report from the Financial Times, Fiat Chrysler has agreed to pay Tesla "hundreds of millions of euros" in order to pool their fleets together in Europe. This move will reportedly allow FCA to use Tesla's zero-emission vehicle sales to offset fines it would have to pay for failing to meet European Union carbon emissions rules, which fall to 95 grams per kilometer starting next year. According to the report, FCA joined a so-called open pool with Tesla on February 25. The electric car company created the pool and gave other automakers "the chance to join" three days prior. The pool will be valid "for several years," according to Julia Poliscanova, a senior director at the Transport & Environment lobbying group. Toyota and Mazda apparently created a similar pool on the same day, but that agreement doesn't elicit quite the same eyebrow raise since Toyota owns a five-percent stake in Mazda. It's not clear exactly how much money FCA will pay Tesla through this arrangement, but similar deals have been part of Tesla's financial strategy for years. FT reports Tesla earned more than $100 million by selling electric vehicle credits in the United States last year and close to $300 million the prior year.
Wish you had a world-famous auto exec give your commencement speech? Watch this
Sat, 02 Feb 2013We've seen some pretty great commencement speeches over the years. There was Steve Jobs' incredibly inspiring Stanford address in 2005, John Stewart's insightful speech to the graduating class of William and Mary in 2004 and Steven Colbert's hilarious 2011 address at Northwestern, but automotive executives aren't strangers to honorary degrees. Former General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner spoke at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011, and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne recently gave the keynote at Walsh College's 100th Commencement Ceremony. The executive knows a thing or two about success and following one's beliefs to fulfillment.
"I constantly encourage my co-workers at Fiat and Chrysler to go beyond the cliche and the conventional to try new approaches and change perspective each and every day," Marchionne said. "I exhort them not to repeat the same things, the same approaches, and I remind them they are indeed free. The freedom I am talking about is something inside you. It is determined by how open minded you remain, how receptive you are to the new and to the different, to the infinite possibilities that present themselves even if you don't go looking for them or could never have imagined. Being free means that you have the strength not to be conditioned by what others want you to do or by what may seem to be the easiest choice."
Amen to that. You can check out the brief press release on the address below as well as a video of a few highlights from the speech.
