Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States

Up for your consideration is a 1968 Chrysler Imperial Crown Four Door Hardtop-  I am the second owner of this car and have had it for over 20 years and it has been in storage as long as I've owned it. I have only driven it maybe 50 miles since I've owned it.  I am loosing the heated garage   It was origianlly titled as "Out of Country" and is still titled that way. It is also been since first titled "odometer exempt." This car remained with'its original owner until I bought it. I'm loosing the heated garage that it's in very soon.

About the car: ith the first owner until I bought it, he didn't put a lot of miles on the car and it has always been garaged since it was new, and he told me it was never used in snow, and seldom in the rain.It has 47,108 miles on the odometer, the body, interior and vinyl top all support the low mileage. The car is equipped with a 440 engine and 727 transmission, I'm not sure if the rear end is positraction or not, the first owner told me that he ordered the trailer towing pakage and it has a what appears to be a Chrysler factory trailer hitch. (?) It has a split bench seat with air conditioning, power locks and windows. The body is solid and the chrome is amazing. The chrome is very nice. All window glass is undamaged and clear. The tires and vinyl top are also in good condition. As stated above, I have only driven the car less than 50 miles in over 20 years, I'm stating everything that I know to be wrong with the car. I drove it almost 30 miles from where it was purchased to my home and then basically put it in storage. The carb needs to be rebuilt because it back fires and has a hard time keeping an idle. A tune up would do wonders. The master cylinder needs to be replaced from sitting all these years and when I just drove it around the block last month a soft plug seems to be leaking. All problems from sitting in storage for 20 years.This car comes with NO Warranty either expressed-written or implied and is being sold 100% AS-IS with No Returns or refunds. Transport is to be obtain by the buyer and the car must be removed within a resonable timeframe. Please feel free to ask questions or for more photos. Please feel free to make an offer...  Thank you!

Chrysler unveils Dodge Charger SRT8 392, 300 SRT Concept to the faithful

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

Our man Steven J. Ewing recently spent some time in a 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee, and while he found a lot to love - particularly underhood - he didn't care for the sedan's retro-steeped visuals, preferring the standard SRT's look instead. Perhaps he'll dig this throwback look instead. Over the weekend, Chrysler unveiled this handsome 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 392 Appearance Package at the eighth annual Spring Festival of LXs, a gathering of Charger, Challenger and Chrysler 300 enthusiasts held in Irvine, California.
Unveiled by SRT CEO Ralph Gilles in front of an estimated 2,500 Spring Fest goers, the 392 features 20-inch Black Vapor Chrome alloys set off by a black-painted roof panel, hood bulge, spoiler and mirror caps. Additional exterior changes include model-specific striping and badging along with the requisite serialized dash plaque inside. The 392 will be available in five colors - Billet Silver Metallic, Bright White, Hemi Orange, Plum Crazy and the TorRed pain seen here.
Performance-wise, the 392 remains unchanged from standard SRT8s, but that's hardly a slight - the 6.4 liter Hemi V8 continues to churn out 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels. Like other 2013 SRT8s, the 392 benefits from the institution of a new launch control system and a retuned three-mode adaptive suspension.

Chrysler 200 prototype spied for first time with new body

Tue, 17 Sep 2013

Chrysler is deep into testing for its next-generation 200 sedan, a new model that is utterly essential to the brand's continued health. The next iteration is tasked with wiping away anything reminiscent of the Sebring, which the current 200 is still based on. According to our spy, this is one of the first of the new 200s to wear a production body rather than the Alfa Romeo Giulietta-based mules that are thick on the ground in Auburn Hills.
Immediately apparent is that the new 200 ditches the awkwardly styled C-pillar that's typified four-door 200 sedans (and Sebrings before them) for years. The new, sleeker roofline is almost more of a four-door coupe than a traditional sedan, which hints that this new car will try to be more fashion-forward than its predecessor. The rear deck is set off by a sporty decklid spoiler, while a set of staggered rectangular exhaust pipes poke out of the bumper.
The front end appears sleeker, and we'd be lying if we didn't spy a bit of Dart through the camouflage, particularly with the headlights. A large, gaping lower air intake is visible, although our spy seems to think it'll shrink before production models debut. Whatever the new 200 ends up looking like, we expect to see a lot more of its styling from Chrysler in the coming years.

Automakers donating money, vehicles and supplies to Oklahoma tornado relief effort

Fri, 24 May 2013

Judging by the destruction the Oklahoma City area experienced earlier this week, residents are going to need a lot of help in coming months. Fortunately, a number of automakers - including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota - have stepped up to donate money, supplies and vehicles to aid in the recovery and rebuilding processes.
Here's a quick rundown of which automakers have pitched in and what each contributed so far:
Ford Motor Company has donating $250,000 and a Transit Connect to the American Red Cross, and it will match all other donations made to the Red Cross (up to $250,000) using a special URL tied to the latter's website (link here). Additionally, its local Oklahoma dealers have thrown in an extra $150,000 for the United Way and the automaker will be offering an extra $500 toward the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.
