2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer Ss Sport Utility 4-door 6.0l on 2040-cars
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States
2007 Trailblazer SS. If you are looking at it, you know what it is and you know what it can do. This is a well maintained, 1 adult owner, non-smoker vehicle. The vehicle is in amazing condition and you will only find minor paint wear from basic road travel. This was my wife's vehicle and really just made short trips back and forth to work or school. We purchased it in Oklahoma City in October of 2006. We have never had any issues with the vehicle. Any little thing that may have came up was serviced by Smicklas Chevrolet or Bob Howard Chevrolet.
Summit white with black leather/suede sport interior. 20" factory 6 spoke vehicles with Kumho tires. Tinted windows. RWD. 395 horsepower 6.0L LS2 V8. That's right, the same engine that powered the Corvette, GTO, Camaro, and Trans Am. The 3SS trim package means it's loaded. Moonroof. Touchscreen navigation. Dual climate control. Memory recall seats. Heated side mirrors with turn signals. On board air compressor feeds the rear leveling suspension but also has a hose kit that allows you to fill the tires wherever you may be.
No vehicle modifications have been made to drivetrain. The only modifications to the stock vehicle, which will come with the vehicle, are an aftermarket alarm with remote start and an mp3 integration kit. The Clifford 50.7x is at the top of its class in 2-way alarms. You can start this car or lock/unlock as far as 1 mile away. Plus, the remote tells you if the vehicle is locked/unlocked at all times. Also, a USA Spec iPod/mp3 player integration kit has been added. It has a cable to attach the original iPod connector and control through the factory touchscreen radio. Or, you can use the 3.5mm headphone jack to attach any device.
Again, this is a beautiful vehicle that will impress you from the moment you open the door, get inside, and start that LS2 up. It sounds great. It looks great. And is one of the most enjoyable vehicles we have ever owned. We are only selling it to get something a little bit bigger.

Ford Police Interceptors dominate Michigan State Police testing
Tue, Nov 1 2016Once again, Ford Motor Company builds the fastest police vehicles. The Blue Oval touted the news in an official release following Michigan State Police and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department testing. Ford did very well. Except for one acceleration metric – zero to 10 miles per hour – the Blue Oval's Taurus and Explorer-based cop cars were the quickest, with particular praise coming for the EcoBoost-powered models, which bested Chevrolet and Dodge's V8-powered variants. Dearborn's products also posted the fastest average times around MSP's vehicle dynamics course. But it wasn't all positive for Ford. The only four-cylinder in the contest, the 2.0-liter, EcoBoost Ford SSP Sedan, had both the lowest top speed, 120 mph, and the slowest acceleration figures. It was also the slowest in track testing. Ford's products also failed to match the braking and top speeds of its rivals from Detroit and Auburn Hills – the rear-drive Charger Pursuit posted the best braking stats of the entire test, while the V8-powered Chevrolet Caprice hit the highest top speed, at 155 mph. Ford did score a top speed award, among SUVs, but at 132 mph, the naturally aspirated Police Interceptor Utility had to share its award with the equally fast, rear-drive Chevrolet Tahoe. The LA County Sheriff's timing isn't publicly available, but according to Ford, the EcoBoost-powered police cars put on a similarly impressive show for cops on the West Coast. We've assembled a spreadsheet on Google Docs that offers an easy to browse comparison of the different stats assembled by the Michigan State Police, and divided the vehicles between standard V6-powered sedans, high-performance sedans (EcoBoost and V8 models), and SUVs. With only 246 Volts sold in Australia, Holden not getting next-gen model
Tue, Apr 28 2015The Chevrolet Volt has not been the resounding success General Motors hoped for here in the United States. But it's fortunes in Chevy's home country are nothing compared to how poorly it's done down under. Only 246 Volts have been sold in Australia, where the car is branded as a Holden, since its debut in 2012. That's not just a bad showing – it's an absolute disaster. According to Motoring.com.au, it was the Volt's astonishing $60,000 price tag, combined with a lack of interest from Aussie drivers, that killed the car's chances. What's fascinating about this development, though, is that it doesn't necessarily seem to be Holden that's pulling the plug. Instead, it's the Volt's Hamtramck, MI factory, which is preparing to shift into production of the second-generation model that seems to be taking the blame. According to Motoring, the plant confirmed that it will only build the Gen 2 plug-in in left-hand-drive form, basically ruling out a model for Australia. "Electric and hybrid vehicles haven't taken off in Australia," Holden's director of communications, Sean Poppitt, told Motoring. "Considering the lack of infrastructure, the lack of government incentives, the large distances between cities, it's a tough sell." The death of the right-hand drive Volt won't be the only loss of business in Hamtramck. Opel has already confirmed that it will drop the plug-in's European fraternal twin, the Ampera, while the next-gen Chevy won't make the trip across the pond either. Related Video:
Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
