The 2003 Chevrolet S-10 ZR2 sports a Vortec L35 4,293 cc V6 engine, with overhead valves and push-rods. Each cylinder has two valves, for a total of 12 valves. The engine features a sequential fuel injection system. The ignition system uses a composite distributor, platinum-tipped spark plugs and low-resistance spark plug wires. The cylinder bore on this engine measures 101.6 mm, and has a 88.39 mm stroke. The compression ratio on this engine is 9.2 to one. The emissions control equipment installed on this engine include a three-way catalytic converter, exhaust gas recirculation, positive crankcase ventilation and an evaporative collection system. In the four-wheel drive equipped ZR2 trim, this engine is capable of producing 190 horsepower at 4,400 rpm and generating 250 ft.-lb. of torque at 2,800 rpm.
The front wheels of the 2003 Chevrolet S-10 ZR2 are equipped with independent double A-arm suspension, with torsion bars. The rear wheels are equipped with two-stage variable rate suspension, equipped with multi-leaf rear springs. The S-10 is equipped with a recirculating ball-type variable-ratio integral power steering system, with a 13.1 steering ratio when stopped. The S-10 ZR2 has a curb-to-curb turning circle of 41.6 feet, and the steering wheel takes 3.2 turns to go from one lock to the other. The S-10 ZR2 is equipped with vacuum-powered four-wheel disc brakes, with ABS. The front discs measure 10.82 inches in diameter, while the rear measure 11.6 inches in diameter.
The vehicle has had a minor accident in the past where the left indicator light and Grill was replaced, other than that the engine is in good condition, no parts were replaced all original. The body is in excellent condition, no dents except for some paint scratches. The interior is in good condition except for the drivers seat and mat that has had some wear. It is best for the buyer to come and inspect the vehicle to get a better idea of the vehicles condition before buying..

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. Watch a 2015 Corvette Z06 run the quarter in 11.7 seconds

We're not writing about this because it's an amazing run, we're writing about it because it appears to be the first run. Someone took a 2015 Corvette Z06 to Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas and blasted it down through the quarter mile. It's still wearing the dealer number in wax pen on the windshield and dealer plates, so this example is fresh from the mold. It's also a seven-speed manual. General Motors said the row-your-own Z06 can do the 'strip in 11.2 seconds, and they undoubtedly had a professional driver and more than one run to set that time. To have Just Some Guy show up at the raceway and do an 11.7 at 120.54 mph on his first run means we expect good things to come as Z06s get delivered to their owners. Check out the run in the video.

New 2016 Chevy Volt ad arrives in time for Tomorrowland

As summer approaches, so do the blockbusters. We've already seen Furious 7 and The Avengers: Age of Ultron, while Mad Max: Fury Road arrives this week. Next week's big debut is Disney's Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney, and not surprisingly, the advertising campaign is kicking into gear. Perhaps attempting to capitalize on the high-tech theme of the flick, Chevrolet has teamed up with Disney for the second-generation Volt's very first commercial appearance. As we reported previously, the Volt will star on the big screen when Tomorrowland hits theaters, and it will be accompanied by the EN-V Concept. Take a look at the Volt's Tomorrowland spot, up top.
