This is a project that was started several years ago, and the money never came up right to allow me to finish. I have recently moved and need to sell.
The body is in good shape with slight rust on the passenger side rear corner. Trunk and interior floors are solid. Interior was removed during tear down. Floors were prepped, sanded and painted. I have all the hardware, including some new bolts and such. I have a set of headers for the motor as well. Distributor, carb included. Original seats, front buckets and rear seats are also included. Basically I have everything that I removed from the car, and it will go with the car when it sells. Buyer is responsible for shipping, if you are in the area and can pick it up with a flatbed or tow-truck you can pick it up when it is most convenient for you. Frame was sandblasted, new metal welded in at body mount points, then it was powder coated, flat black. All new poly bushings between body and frame. Bilstein shocks on all four corners with Hotchkis one inch drop springs all the way around. New upper and lower rear control arms from Spohn Performance. New front and rear sway bars also from Spohn. New tie rod ends and front end rebuild kit all from Spohn. All new bushings and ball joints for the front end installed. New front slotted rotors, with new calipers. New drums, and kits for the rear. Also has all new booster and master cylinder. All new brake lines, including flex hoses, still in box. Also has new proportional valve. 15 inch rally rims. Has a 350 engine with a th700 trans. Trans needs rebuild, engine doesn't run, no fuel system installed. 3:73 rear, great condition. More pics available upon request. |

Chevy working on production Impala Midnight Edition
Sat, Dec 13 2014To put together the Impala Blackout concept for SEMA, Chevrolet didn't need to go much further than its accessories catalog. The in-house connection is what could make it possible for Chevy to get a production version of the Blackout into dealers this model year, with its few bits of chrome trim and dark detailing on the 19-inch aluminum wheels set into an abyss of gloss black paint, black Bowtie, grille surround, rear spoiler and mirror caps. The interior is black leather, with stainless steel for the sill plates and pedals, and an 11-speaker Bose audio system, and it gets the optional 305-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6. The brand's marketing director for cars and crossovers, Steve Majoros, told Edmunds that it could come in late spring, and that it will be called "Midnight Edition." Majoros didn't give any indication of pricing or if the production car will be spec'd out like the concept. If you simply don't want to wait for late spring, you could work your DIY mojo by putting one together the same way Chevrolet did: give the accessories catalog a workout. Related Video:
