this is my 91 chevy conversion van...I am the third owner and know the 2 previous owners and it has been serviced regularly since new...it starts everytime even after months of sitting, and drives as good as these vans ever did...it has the chevy 350 and auto trans..i think mechanically its very sound..when I got it and it would barely run..i put on new plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor...fuel pump in tank , cleaned out the gas tank...and new larger alternator to power the extra electrical things these vans have...2 brand new power window motors...the interior is in pretty good shape some carpet is faded a little from the sun..i have both the captains chairs for the middle in good shape...the power seat/bed in the back works very well...it has a place overhead for a tv...it has factory speakers in the ceiling and a second stereo overhead in the back..I have a little of the wood trim and door carpet off but have all that stuff...the heater seems to work pretty good...the previous owner said the rear ac didn't work but I think it would probably all need some kind of work...the speedometer seems to run about 10 mph off...but I think all the other gauges work...I installed a heat guage that works well...its never overheated on me at all...the exterior the paint is chipping here and there...99.9% rust free if any at all...it has always lived on the Arkansas, Louisiana line... I have the running boards and ladder to go with it.also original colored hood..just dented ...if you want them...they were loose and it looked better without it...I was going to make a camping vehicle out of it..it would make a good work van..tall enough to stand up in it and walk around...its got a few cosmetic issues but over all its a good 24 year old van...if I was wanting a van to use.. or do something with, I would want one like this to start with..the reason I am selling is to get a smaller car to drive to work and back...thanks a lot for looking |

Nissan Leaf has outsold Chevy Volt by 50% so far in 2015
Tue, Sep 1 2015We know, we know. The Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf sales numbers for mid- to late-2015 aren't all that meaningful because of the impending arrival of the next-gen Volt and the expected but not-yet-totally-confirmed debut of the second version of the Leaf. Nonetheless, tracking the sales of the first two major plug-in vehicles is something that remains interesting to us, if for nothing else that the all-electric Leaf remains slightly more popular than the plug-in hybrid Volt after all this time. If we just look at August, the numbers were basically tied in the US. Chevy sold 1,380 Volts while Nissan moved 1,393 Leafs. But when we take a 10,000-foot view, the differences starts to appear. So far in 2015, GM has sold 8,315 Chevy Volts while Nissan has sold 12,383 Leafs. That means that the Nissan has outsold the Chevy by around 50 percent (to be specific, it's 48.92 percent). Since the two vehicles went on sale in the US at roughly the same time at the end of 2010, 81,672 Volts have been sold, compared to 84,705 Leafs. That's a difference of only 3,033 vehicles, so proponents of both powertrains can hold their heads high. Looking just at last month, Volt sales were 45 percent lower compared to August 2014. So far this year, Volt sales are down 36.7 percent. The Leaf didn't fare any better. Month-to-month, Leaf sales were down 43.7 percent in August, while year-to-date, Leaf sales are down 65.3 percent. Those second-gen models can't come soon enough. As always, we'll have our broader wrap-up of monthly green car sales for August up soon. Stay tuned. Green Chevrolet Nissan Electric Hybrid ev sales
Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards
Tue, 27 Nov 2012Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
The overall top 10 models for the best resale value in 2013 are, in alphabetical order:
