Whats been done

New not rebuilt 350 GM crate engine installed and runs, zero miles on it. Everything on the engine is new, Edelbrock 650 carb, alternator, water pump, fan, aluminum intake ,ignition system, motor mounts, headers, starter, new radiator, you name it all new.. I have the original engine in a crate that still runs, 4 new disk brake calipers with ss sleeves, new brake master cylinders and brake lines, front end has been rebuilt with all new bushings and ball joints, brand new floor pans installed, new complete carpet kit not installed ,does not include wheels.new front bumper, new driver side door skin, new parts on both flip up lights, new top front surrounding, front speakers, shocks, and much more..

What is needed to finish

Exhaust from headers back, the interior is not in the car but I have everything to complete it new or usable parts, Tires, steering cylinders, AC reinstalled, weather stripping, as far as the body, driver side door skin needs installed (I have a new one) hood needs installed, 2 flip up lights installed, front bumper needs installed (I have a new one), the top front surrounding needs installed (I have a new one), and whole car needs painted. I have 1 gallon base coat DuPont color red that it paid 500.00 for that goes with the car.

Note: the car is not drivable you will need a trailer to take it home . Car is on blocks does not include wheels or tires.I can crank the engine so you can hear it run also can put in gear to see the trans run.No missing parts from the car I have them all either new or the originals other than wheels and tires.. 2020 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra recalled due to faulty brake component

Wed, Mar 11 2020

General Motors is recalling 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups to fix a defect in the trucks' brake system. Certain Silverado and Sierra pickups were produced with brake-caliper bolts that were not heat-treated. Without heat-treating, the bolts are weaker than they should be, and there is a risk that they could fail, which would affect the trucks' braking performance, possibly leading to a crash. In total, 20,352 vehicles are affected. Owners of affected trucks will be contacted by GM. Dealers will inspect the bolts and replace those that are defective. Related Video:

GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
