I am selling a 1995 Z28 Camaro that I picked up recently as part of a car deal. The color is listed as Bright Teal metallic, but is more of a medium teal with a flip - flop type paint to a medium blue depending on the lighting. The car is extremely clean with absolutely no rust issues. The underbody is also nice and has no fluid leaks. The interior, for the mileage is very very nice. The car runs strong, shifts firm, has a K & N air set up and a flowmaster cat back type system which appears to be new( exhaust is straight back pipe from manifolds to rear axle where the flowmaster set up is ). The original wheels are nice for 18 years old and have Hankook 245 / 50 / 16 tires with approx. 50% tread. The t tops do not leak, the valleys are as new and the gaskets are soft. The front flat area of the dash has the typical crack from heat that I have read about. Its an inexpensive fix if done with the cap that's sold, something that I will let the next buyer decide. PS, PB, PW, PL, P Mirrors, Tilt, Cruise, Heat / Air, Remote hatch release all work as they should. *The shocks / cylinders that hold up the rear hatch when open are weak and need to be replaced. If I have time, I will try to address this. Lights, blinkers, Wipers ect  work as they should. An aftermarket am fm cd has replaced the original, which is long gone. The built in holder for the t tops is in the back hatch area. The paint on top of the front bumper has some "spidering". The top surface of the rear bumper has a couple of scraps and a small area where the clear coat peeled. There is no spare or jack with the car. I  just did a full synthetic Mobil 1 oil change, and replaced the power steering fluid with the Lucas PS fluid. The coolant is fresh, runs temp wise, as it should when at operating temp per gauge. The coolant sensor at the radiator, comes on and off, could be a poor connection, it can be disconnected or replaced ( google this ) . The transmission fluid is fresh. This is actually one car that looks as good in person as the pictures show. I have had the Camaro on the freeway doing 75 - 80 and it is a pleasure to drive. No silly / quirky bs. I have sold many cars on ebay over the years, am an honest seller and tend to over - described my cars.

Good luck and please do not hesitate to ask questions.

$500.00 dollar deposit due immediately upon auctions end thru paypal, balance to be paid in cash, certified check or bank transfer. The title and vehicle will be released once funds have cleared.

* I have had 2 inquiries about engine work, any done, or seem like anything done internally? I do not believe that this engine has been opened up. I will say though, that the car does not feel or run like other cars I have driven with this type of mileage, unless they have been gone thru. Well built car.

GM to build next-gen Chevy Cruze in Mexico

Tue, Mar 24 2015

As one of its global products, General Motors builds the Chevy Cruze for local consumption at assembly plants around the world: in Australia, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, China, India, Kazakhstan, Russia, Brazil and Ohio. The automaker is expected to trim those locations for the next generation of its compact sedan, but its latest announcement has it adding a new site to the list: Mexico. As part of a $350-million investment, GM's plant at Ramos Arizpe in Coahuila will gear up for production as one of several sites that will be charged with building the next-gen Cruze. The General has yet to announce just which plants those will be, but it has confirmed that the Lordstown, Ohio, site will once again be among them. The plant in St Petersburg, Russia, which has produced the current Cruze, is being shut down, as is the Holden plant in Elizabeth, Australia. The Ramos Arizpe assembly plant currently puts together the Chevy Sonic and Captiva as well as the Cadillac SRX, but has over the course of its 34-year history handled a variety of models for the Chevy, Pontiac, Buick, Cadillac, Saturn, Opel and even Saab brands. The site handles a quarter of GM's production in Mexico, and exports 87 percent of its capacity to other markets. Editors' Picks August 2021 | Honda Civic, Mercedes S-Class and more

Thu, Sep 9 2021

This month of Editors' Picks saw us award the honor to a couple of redesigned stalwarts like the Honda Civic and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Plus, a new crossover that splits the difference between the compact and subcompact class takes home the prize. On top of this, we'll introduce you to a new term: midcompact. We'll be using this to describe those in-between crossovers that are a tad too small to be considered compact, but too large to neatly fit into the subcompact class. For a few examples of these "midcompact" cars, we'll point you to the Ford Bronco Sport, Kia Seltos and VW Seltos. In case you missed our previous Editors' Picks posts, here’s a quick refresher on whatÂ’s going on here. We rate all the new cars we drive with a 1-10 score. Cars that are exemplary in their respective segments get EditorsÂ’ Pick status. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. The list that youÂ’ll find below consists of every car we rated in August that earned an EditorsÂ’ Pick. 2021 Genesis G70 2022 Genesis G70 View 26 Photos Quick take: Genesis hits all the right buttons with its G70. It's attractive, fun to drive and can be had for a fair price. Enthusiasts should give it a shot before taking home one of its German competitors. Score: 8 What it competes with: Alfa Romeo Giulia, Lexus IS, Acura TLX, Infiniti Q50, Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Cadillac CT4, Volvo S60 Pros: Sharp handler, stunning exterior looks, strong engines Cons: Average interior, loses manual option, small backseat and trunk From the editors: News Editor Joel Stocksdale — "I was already a big fan of the Genesis G70. It has brilliant handling, and the twin-turbo V6 is a beast. It's even a bargain against the competition. And Genesis just made it look a lot better. I wish they'd done a bit more to update the interior, but it's still not a bad cabin. Besides, you won't think too much about it when you're hustling down a fun back road." Features Editor James Riswick — "Yes, it is small, but in a sport sedan segment where "sport" means increasingly less, the G70 still delivers (in part because of that smallness).

Corvette + fireworks = so much glory

Fri, Jul 3 2015

You might think that those of us making our living by reviewing cars, think critically about the cars we're driving most of the time. It could be that I'm an underachiever, but that's not the case with me. In fact, unless I'm set to the review task, I typically think about the cars in front of and around me more frequently. That's because a) you never know what you're going to see out there, and b) all of them could be out to bump/scratch/tailgate/crash me out. You can never be too careful. Such was the case when I was driving a 2015 Chevy Corvette earlier this week. I'd already had my fun finding the edges of grip on a river road in the car, the night before; on the morning in question I was just trying to get to work. But while scanning the suburban streets for potential dangers to the 'Vette's neat-o Daytona Sunrise orange paint, I spied a XXL-sized fireworks tent in an empty parking lot. Oh right, I remembered, 4th of July weekend. That obvious bit of observation lead to a chain of thought along these lines: "We should do something with this car for the 4th" ... "Too bad I have to give it back tomorrow." ... "Wonder if I could do a quick video?" ... "Wonder if I can set off a bunch of fireworks in slow-mo for a video?" The result, well, I won't call it genius, but I will say that I remember why every kid loves fireworks. And I will call it glorious. Happy 4th, y'all.
