Here we have a fabulous documented  original Camaro Z28 with protectoplate. Car has 1100 miles since a complete professional rotisserie restoration using original GM parts. This car has been completely dismantled, restored and put back together with great attention to detail. Every wire, nut and bolt, lightbulb and component has been restored and refreshed. $10,000.00 in paint alone to refinish in the stunning and rare original Seafrost Green with black stripes.

The engine is a numbers appropriate MO code Z28 302 cubic inch with all new components including 30//30 solid lifter camshaft and 1178 crankshaft with so;id lifters, rockers, balancer, windage tray excetera. Winters snowflake intake manifold with correct Holley DZ carb, original distributor which has been converted to electronic ignition.

The transmission is  rebuilt Muncie M22 "Rockcrusher" . Rearend is 12 bolt BU code 3:73 positraction. Car of course has all the Z28 options, power steering, power brakes, original console with gauges, original 15 inch Z28 wheels GM DZ stamps

Hagerty kicks back with Ringbrothers for a look at the Recoil

Over the years, Ringbrothers has shown the ability to mix a meticulous eye for style and serious amounts of horsepower with customs like the Pantera-based Adrnln. The company's recent project, a tuned 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle called Recoil, is some of its best work yet and already has Jay Leno's denim-clad stamp of approval. Now, Hagerty is taking a look, while digging into the history of the actual Ring brothers: Mike and Jim. The two guys grew up in a small town where owning a car was practically a necessity, and the brothers were already wrenching before they could even legally drive. Eventually, that passion grew into a business, which led to wonderfully customized performance vehicles like the Recoil. Hagerty gets a fascinating look into Ringbrothers tuning philosophy in its interview. Of course, the real interest lies in this custom Chevelle, and there's a chance to hear the absolutely ferocious sound from the Recoil's supercharged V8 in this clip.

'84 MotorWeek Cherokee, Bronco and Blazer comparison indulges your SUV nostalgia

These days, truck-based, full-frame SUVs are somewhat of a rarity on the auto landscape due to the rapid rise in popularity of easier-driving, car-based crossovers. Although, without the gradually building popularity of these chunky, high-riding vehicles decades ago, it's unlikely that America's roads would be filled with so many CUVs today. In its latest dig into the archives, MotorWeek has found a 1984 comparison test of a trio of these early Sport Utility Wagons, as long-time host John Davis called them, that helped get acceptance of this segment going. This is a red, white and blue test of the SUVs from American automakers at the time and pits the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Bronco and Jeep Cherokee (specifically in Wagoneer guise) against each other. Driving manners and interior usability are considered in the evaluation, but Motorweek actually takes these vehicles off road, too. Among the bigger revelations is the improvement in on-road ability in the past 30 years. While specific 0-60 times aren't given, all three models take around 10 seconds just to get to around 50 miles per hour in the 500-feet on-ramp acceleration test.
