This listing is for a 1968 Chevy C10 Long Bed. The truck has a clean AZ title. It is a full on custom truck. The truck is loaded with top dollar components. Small block Chevy 350 with turbo 350 transmission. It runs great on the expressway so I believe it has 3:38 rear end gears. The truck has full independent suspension on an air ride system. It has dual compressors with dual tanks. Four individual control valves so it can be infinitely adjusted. Custom tubular a-arms in the front and custom trailing arms in the rear. The custom radiator has dual electric fans with thermostat control. March full pulley and drive belt system. Flaming river chrome tilt column. Hooker headers. HEI distributer, Holley dual feed 750 with Edelbrock RPM air gap intake. B&M slap shifter for manual style shifting. The truck has a classic air A/C unit on it. It blows great cold air. The truck is riding on a sweet set of Sequence 22" Black and Chrome Wheels. The Kenwood stereo is boosted by a pair of Premier Audio Amps. The first amp is a 2 x 350 Watt for the mid range and tweeters mounted in the doors. The second amp is a 1 x 850 Watt that powers the sub woofer box in the bed of the truck. It is ported into the truck from the bed to the back of the cab. The truck is straight as an arrow and has been shaved on the sides and tailgate. The door poppers are run off a remote control so access to the truck is easy. Cash or bank check. No personal checks or trades. $500 Paypal deposit required with in three days of the auction end. This is a non refundable deposit. If you do not contact me to pick up or ship the truck I will retain the deposit.

GM global sales off slightly this year
Fri, Oct 16 2015General Motors saw a slight dip in global sales through the first nine months of the year. In that time, the automaker moved 7.2 million vehicles – down 1.3 percent from 2014. For the third quarter alone, the numbers were down 3.1 percent with a worldwide volume of 2.3 million. The automaker had a better performance in North America, as Chevrolet is showing strength with some of its best crossover sales ever, and pickup trucks were up 16 percent for the year. Volume on the continent advanced 4.9 percent through September to nearly 2.7 million vehicles. The third quarter improved that figure even further with a 5.2-percent jump and deliveries of about 931,000. Elsewhere in the world, things were more mixed in the third quarter. European deliveries jumped 1.1 percent, but the company was still down 6.3 percent there for the year so far. Volume in China also fell 4.2 percent, but the country showed 1.6-percent growth through the first nine months. South America took the biggest, hit with Q3 numbers dropping 30.8 percent. While GM is seeing a small sales drop globally, the company could still climb up the ranking of the world's largest automakers by the end of the year. Volkswagen had the top spot in the first half of 2015, but since then, the German company has been rocked by an international emissions scandal. GM Sold 7.2 Million Vehicles in the First Nine Months of 2015 DETROIT – General Motors Co. (NYSE: GM) sold 7.2 million vehicles globally in the first nine months of 2015. The company posted sales increases in four of its five largest markets, with record sales in China and strong retail sales gains in the United States. Total sales were down 1 percent, due primarily to the company's previously announced decisions to strategically reduce its presence in certain markets, as well as difficult market conditions in South America. "Our unwavering focus on the customer is paying off in our largest and most important markets as we execute one successful launch after another in the right segments," said GM President Dan Ammann. "At the same time, we have reacted quickly to challenging macroeconomic environments in other markets and have shown the discipline to exit situations where we see no long-term path to acceptable returns." Examples of GM's recent success include: GM truck sales in North America were up 16 percent in the first nine months of 2015, driven by a 17 percent increase in Chevrolet truck deliveries in the United States.
2016 Chevy Volt auctioned off to help the robots
Tue, Nov 10 2015One of the cool things about the 2016 Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in being auctioned off to raise money for kids' science and robotics program is that even the sedan's color sounds very scientific. Indeed, it's fitting that a "Kinetic Blue" Volt will be used to advance the scientific education of the country's students, according to Hybrid Cars. That is, if it fetches enough cash. Chevrolet parent General Motors was kind enough to donate a 2016 Volt to the so-called FIRST K-12 robotics program (FIRST stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). The program was founded in 1989. Last year, General Motors engineers worked with about 10,000 FIRST students in the US, but it looks like GM is now going the cold-hard-cash route to make its mark on future scientists. Bidding for the vehicle will take place until the morning of November 19, and, hopefully, it will generate enough interest to drive the bidding price up beyond its MSRP. As of Tuesday morning, nine bids had been taken, with the top one at $27,750. That's all fine and good except the car is pretty loaded with bells and whistles, and it's 53-mile electric-only range is a considerable jump from the first-generation Volt, so the car's "estimated value" is $40,245 (not factoring in the $7,500 federal tax incentive). That's a pretty good jump over the 2016 Volt's base price of $33,995, which marked a $175 price cut from the 2015 model. So pony up, folks. It's for the kids. Related Video:
Peter Max staring down $1M lawsuit over Corvette collection sale
Wed, Dec 17 2014Pop artist Peter Max recently sold off his collection of 36 vintage Chevrolet Corvettes – one each from 1953 to 1989 – for an undisclosed amount. The new owners have already announced plans to restore some of them and auction the models off sometime soon. Up until then, the sports cars had been languishing in various garages around New York City for decades and were caked in dust and grime. However, Max's end of the transaction has just become more complicated, because two men are suing the artist claiming he employed them to complete the deal first. The men allege that Max hired them to broker the sale of the 36 Corvettes in exchange for a 10-percent commission, according to the New York Post. They claim to have emails and text messages proving the existence of the deal, and are taking Max to court for $1 million over the squabble. The collection of Corvettes was amassed in 1989 as part of a prize package from the television network VH1, and Max bought the cars from the winner intending on using them for an art project. He never got around to it, though, and parked the sports cars around New York, until he finally sold them over the summer.
