THIS 1971 CHEVY CST K5 BLAZER IS IN SUPER CLEAN AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION . THIS BLAZER SPENT MOST OF ITS LIFE IN ARIZONA. THIS BLAZER IS STOCK AND IS EQUIPPED WITH, CST PACKAGE, AIR CONDITIONING, FRONT POWER DISC BRAKES, POWER STEERING, FRONT LOCKING HUBS, TINTED GLASS, 350 MOTOR AND A TURBO 350 TRANS, FACTORY TACHOMETER THIS IS A SUPER DRY AND CLEAN BLAZER WITH A GREAT BODY AND GREAT PAINT AND IT SUPER SHARP!!!! GARAGED KEPT DRIVEN ON SUNNY DAYS ONLY

THE PAINT AND BODY- The body on this Blazer is in over all super condition with factory floor pans that are solid along with the kick panels they are also solid and are not showing any signs of rust or surface rust through the paint. You will not need to patch or replace the floor pans or kick panels in this blazer. The original fire wall is in great condition and has not been cut up or beat on. The paint on the fire wall is in excellent condition also there are no rust spots on the drivers side or passenger side in the upper corners of the fire wall. The quarter panels are original to the Blazer and are in excellent! condition they are not full of bondo and they have not been crashed in to they look straight when looking down the sides they are not wavy or beat up. Both the doors are clean and solid with NO dings of rusting through or rust bubbles they look Great. Both the front fenders are in great condition and are not beat up or cut on or rusting out they are super clean fenders. I have checked the passenger side fender down low inline with the battery and it shows no signs of rust same with the drivers side. The passenger side inner fender wells also shows no signs of rust same with the drivers side. The radiator support is also original and shows no sings of rust and will not need to be replaced. The original inner and outer rocker panels are not rusted out or full of body filler and will not need to be cut off or replaced they look GREAT. The windshield pillars and upper windshield area both out side and inside are rust free and are in excellent condition. Behind the inner windshield rubber across the top is also great The top of the metal dash down by the windshields rubber is in super condition.

The hood is straight and is not bowed and looks great. The removal hard top is in great condition and is not split or chipped. The back hatch is also in excellent condition and is not broke up or split. Over all the body on this blazer is not dented up and this is a super straight Blazer with great body gaps throughout. The bottom side of this truck is not rusty or full of under coating it is apparent underneath this truck that it was not used for off road. This Blazer has all its original GM panels and is not a bondo up rusty mess.

The paint on this Blazer looks EXCELLENT it has a few minor scratch's nothing to worry about .

THE INTERIOR- The inside of this Blazer is in super sharp condition and it is very clean. The two front seats are stock to the Blazer and they look great with no tears or snags they are in like new condition. also has The factory back seat to the Blazer. The rear side panels are in perfect condition. The carpet is new also the threshold moldings are in great condition. The dash pad is also in great condition with no cracks or blemishes. The sun visors look great. After market steering wheel is in nice condition . The door panels are perfect condition . The inside of the Black removable top is super clean and is not stained or water spotted. The factory radio was replaced and the replacement is working and sounds great has a really nice sound . The heater air condition switches are intact and are work great .

Over all the inside of this Blazer is super clean and the door rubbers are in like new condition.

THE MOTOR- This Blazers motor is a rebuilt VERY STRONG 350 with low miles that has great power .

THE TRANS/TRANSFER CASE - The trans is a turbo 350 that shifts out GREAT .

The factory 205 transfer case does not leak and the 4x4 is in great working order. The rear end is a nice tight rear end that does not clunk or howl. The hubs lock and unlock nicely also when you drop this truck in to gear there is no universal joint clunks or noises.

THE OVER ALL- This Blazer is a super clean and it has been well taken care of and was not beat on or abused. This Blazer is ready to enjoy and is a blast to drive and is super dependable it is a great looking Blazer. This Blazer is the CST that came with factory air conditioning that is all intact and was converted to 134A and blows ice cold! tilt wheel power steering power disc brakes and Tachometer and dual exhaust that sounds great.

The original rally rims are in great condition they are clean. The tires have 500 miles on them. This Blazer rides nice and the power steering is in good working order and does not leak. The glass is not cracked and is in really nice condition. The front and rear bumpers are new and the grill is in excellent condition. This Blazer runs and drives great and is very dependable. The disc brake master cylinder and the booster along with the brakes are in good working order. The bottom side of this Blazer was under coated from the factory and it is clear to see that it is not rusted and very clean. This is a dry Blazer that did not see much moisture when you look at the back side of the rear view mirror, the shifter, the blinker arms, the inner and outer door handles and the other bright work there is no pitting or rusting.

Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels

The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.

2020 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra recalled due to faulty brake component

General Motors is recalling 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups to fix a defect in the trucks' brake system. Certain Silverado and Sierra pickups were produced with brake-caliper bolts that were not heat-treated. Without heat-treating, the bolts are weaker than they should be, and there is a risk that they could fail, which would affect the trucks' braking performance, possibly leading to a crash. In total, 20,352 vehicles are affected. Owners of affected trucks will be contacted by GM. Dealers will inspect the bolts and replace those that are defective. Related Video:

Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon get updated tachometers due to graphical error

After James Bearing bought a Chevrolet Colorado, he noticed a discrepancy between the truck's spec sheet and the truck's tachometer: Chevrolet said 3.6-liter V6 in the little pickup produces 305 horsepower at 6,800 rpm, but the the tachometer indicates a redline at 6,500 rpm. So either he wasn't making as much power as he was promised, or the tachometer display was incorrect. Bearing said he asked Chevy about it but got no response. Until now. A General Motors spokesman said the rev limiter is indeed set for 6,800 rpm, but the tach graphics "are slightly off" in the Colorado and the GMC Canyon, and submitted an SAE horsepower certification to back him up. If you're wondering how such a thing got past quality control... well, let's just say you're not alone. GM is going to fix "the graphics on future trucks," which makes it sound like Bearing will just have to learn to live with the indicated redline he's got. He could always pretend he's driving a sleeper, with four more ponies waiting to be unlocked in the danger zone for those who dare.
