2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer Ss - Black With 76k Miles, Runs Like New! on 2040-cars
Sicklerville, New Jersey, United States
I'm selling my 2008 Chevy Trailblazer SS with 76K miles. The vehicle was bought by me in October of 2007, brand new, from Elkins Chevrolet in Marlton, NJ and still runs now just as good as it did the day I bought it. The truck is Black with black leather/suede interior. I have taken very good care of this car. I have always ran 93 octane gas, and MobileOne synthetic oil since I purchased it. 90% of the 76,000 miles are highway and the rest are getting to and from the highway. This vehicle has never been on a track or drag strip and has never been street racing. It does have a 6.0 liter LS2 motor that puts out about 400 HP stock, it is an extremely comfortable and fast SUV. The truck is completely stock, with the exception of an aftermarket Remote Starter and a cable ran to my stereo that hooks up to iPhones, iPods, and iPads that I use to play music from my phone through the speakers and charge my phone at the same time. The truck has dual climate control, 8-way power bucket seats, driver & passenger heated seats, heated side view mirrors with turn signals built in, an electric sunroof, programmable remote garage door openers, automatic lights, fog lights, daytime running lights, Bose Stereo sound system, CD player, XM Sirius Satellite Ready, OnStar ready, Keyless Entry with Remote Start, alarm system, 20" wheels and tires, steering wheel controls for radio, cd player, volume, and computer settings, memory driver's seat with an "Easy Exit" button that remembers the position you drive in and automatically goes back to that position (if moved) when you put the key in the ignition, brand new battery with 5 year warranty, traction control/stabilitrac button, power windows and locks, power side mirror adjustment, dual climate control for the driver and passenger, rear climate control/radio control, rear windshield wiper with 4 speeds and window cleaner, cup holders in the front and rear, rear seats fold down for extra cargo room, air compressor built into the trunk with a hose long enough to reach all tires and accessories to inflate other things (basketballs for example), temperature and compass display on rearview mirror, anchors and tethers for child seats, child door locks, towing package (hitch, trailer lighting chord), and many more. The vehicle is in excellent condition minus a few scratches on the passenger side and on one of the passenger side wheels. There are 4 decal stickers on the back windshield that can be removed upon request prior to purchase. This is a must see, must have Trailblazer SS and for an excellent price too! In order to purchase this truck you must pay in cash, have a valid driver's license, and be able to drive to my location in NJ. I have the title and all the paperwork you will need for this truck, I will also type up a receipt for the payment - we both will have a copy. If you have any questions please contact me at zreamer84@gmail.com |

C7 Corvette makes inaugural ad appearance in Chevy's first spot with new slogan
Mon, 11 Feb 2013Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" tagline has finally been run into the ground, replaced with the Bowtie brand's "Find New Roads" slogan that's part of parent General Motors' plan to unify its everyday brand's marketing efforts worldwide. The new Chevrolet campaign was ushered in on prime time last night during the Grammy Awards on CBS, and the first spot, a 90-second full-line ad, also marks the first appearance of the 2014 Corvette Stingray in a commercial.
Being a full-line ad, the commercial is composed of vignettes centered on different vehicles in the brand's lineup. The all-new 2014 Impala also makes its first commercial appearance in dapper fashion, and time is spent on a skateboarding Sonic and a bouquet of brightly colored Spark hatchbacks driven by fashionable women. The ad starts and ends with Chevy's green halo car, the Volt, along with a young girl with her robotic dog (yes, really).
Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" campaign got off to a rocky start in the fall of 2010, but it did last for a couple of years with some tweaks. This new one, "Find New Roads" seems more intent on drawing new customers into the fold than the outgoing tagline, which seemed to play more toward the brand faithful. It admittedly reminds us more than a little the short-lived "Find Your Own Road" Saab motto (which, we note, was conceived while the Swedish brand was under GM's control), but no matter, we still think it's got more long-term potential than "Runs Deep."
Best Large SUVs of 2024
Tue, Dec 19 2023When it comes down to large SUVs, there's more to consider than price and just how large it is. First, it comes down to what's underneath the skin. Some are built on a truck-like body-on-frame chassis — this would be the traditional, literal definition of an "SUV." Others use car-like, unibody construction, which would make them a crossover. What really matters, though, is how you use them. For most American families, a large three-row crossover is going to be your best bet. They have loads of passenger and cargo space, and deliver superior fuel economy, handling and ride quality than those big traditional SUVs. They're cheaper, too. On the other hand, those traditional large SUVs like the Chevy Tahoe and Ford Expedition are better-suited for more heavy-duty tasks like towing. Most now have bigger third rows than big crossovers, while extended-length versions like the Chevy Suburban have way more cargo capacity behind their third rows than everything but an airport shuttle. As for luxury large SUVs, they fall into those same two categories as well, with American choices mostly being truck-based. The pros and cons of choosing one over another are similar. Below, you will find our list of the best large SUVs broken down into three categories: large family crossover, large traditional SUV and large luxury SUVs, which comprise both construction types. Best Large Family Crossovers | Best Large Traditional SUVs | Best Large Luxury SUVs Best Large Family Crossovers 2024 Honda Pilot Why it stands out: Exceptional storage and cargo space; unique second-row functionality; refined ride; versatile and capable TrailSport; advanced AWDCould be better: Subpar acceleration with lackadaisical transmission and engine response; so-so driver assistance tech Read our full 2024 Honda Pilot Review The Honda Pilot was completely redesigned for 2023. It maintains its predecessor's family-friendly packaging and overall focus, but it has injected a welcome sense of style (especially in the TrailSport pictured above) that makes it stand out much better from the big crossover crowd. The Pilot's restrained adornment and classic proportions are refreshing compared to the increasingly busy Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade and Subaru Ascent. Let's talk about practicality, though, which is ultimately the Pilot's best attribute.
Electric Cadillac Lyriq, Chevy Bolt EUV and more GM electric cars are on the way
Wed, Mar 4 2020GM’s murky and somewhat secretive electric car plan is falling into place, as the company dumped a massive amount of information about whatÂ’s in the pipeline at an event at its Warren, Michigan campus today. New EVs are going to be popping up across the GM brand lineup, with new entries from Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC and Buick in progress. We also learned some big news about GMÂ’s new Ultium battery tech today, but check out this story for all of those nitty-gritty details. The electric vehicle onslaught will begin with the Cadillac Lyriq, an electric SUV thatÂ’s already been teased out. Naming it the Lyriq is the news today. No explanation for the name was provided, so weÂ’ll have to wait for April to learn more. GM didnÂ’t specifically say if the Lyriq would be launched at the NY Auto Show, but that show (assuming coronavirus doesnÂ’t cancel it) will begin on April 8 this year. Next up in the order of events is the GMC Hummer electric truck that we know will be launching on May 20. This truck will use GMÂ’s modular Ultium battery technology. However, the wait to buy a GMC Hummer will be a long one, as the truck isnÂ’t going to dive into production until fall 2021 at GMÂ’s Detroit-Hamtramck plant. GM revealed that its new modular Ultium batteries can be configured anywhere from a 50 kWh pack to a 200 kWh pack depending on the application. Range is estimated to be about 400 miles on the upper end with the largest battery pack, and GM continues to boast about a 0-60 mph acceleration time of three seconds. Charging estimates for the Ultium battery-equipped Hummer EV were also provided. GM says its truck platform will have 800-volt battery packs and be capable of 350 kW fast-charging. Time estimates werenÂ’t given, but those numbers suggest the truck will be a rapid charger. The Hummer truck on hand, which was the same that previously starred in GMC's Super Bowl spot, showed off removable roof panels that store in the frunk, as well as what appeared to be a version of GMC's Multi-Pro tailgate. It also featured sail panels on the sides, similar to those in front of the bed of the Chevy Avalanche. In addition to the Hummer, expect to see a couple Chevys launching. GM says the refreshed Bolt EV will be launched “in late 2020” with a refreshed interior and what appear to be thicker front seats.
