2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer Lt Sport Utility 4-door 4.2l on 2040-cars
Pittsville, Maryland, United States
This auction is for a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT. We have owned this car since 2009. It has been great to us. It has 208,179 miles on it. Before we parked it, the engine started running rough. It may just need a tune up and also something on the front driver’s side wheel was clinking. We think the front axle may be broken. The air conditioner works great. It has relatively new front brakes. Radio is fine. See all pictures. The front bumper has been hit by a small deer causing some damage. There is also a dent in the hood. There is a small patch of rust by the windshield driver’s side. This truck is from 2003 so there are other small dents and scratches. The interior is also in good condition for its age. We have used this vehicle. The driver’s seat power control part is falling off, but has been this way for quite some time and is yet to fall off. The center console doesn’t stay secured. The driver’s side door makes a rubbing sound upon opening and closing the door. The back seat cup holder is stuck in the down position. It is hard to come up with all the specific quirks about a vehicle as we have spent so much time in this truck, some of its flaws you just get used to and overlook them. The right passenger rear tire is the spare. We do have the original rim we just never made it to replacing. We ended up getting a new car instead of getting this one fixed, although we have discussed getting it fixed because it was such a dependable vehicle with lots of room. It does have a towing package and has a hitch that is included. Needs gas and oil change. This link to a youtube video shows the mileage. http://youtu.be/ZAmTw-vW69c This link to a youtube video shows the air conditioner works, it is super cold upon turning it on! http://youtu.be/7--yOLv-dVw This link to a youtube video shows the truck starting up and no warning lights on the dash panel and also the truck is put in gear and moved in the driveway. http://youtu.be/KPyrmRPxcis This vehicle is being sold as is with no warranties or guarantees. If you would like to view the vehicle please let us know. We are not experts or mechanics. This vehicle has NOT been inspected prior to this auction. The sale of this vehicle is final. Highest bidder is considered the buyer. Buyer is responsible for pickup of the vehicle within 14 days of close of auction. If the buyer wishes to have the vehicle shipped, it is the buyer’s responsibility to make those arrangements and pay any costs associated with such. The buyer also agrees to pay $500.00 deposit via PayPal within 48 hours end of auction. The balance due can be made upon pickup of the vehicle either via PayPal, Cash, or cashier’s check with in 14 days. At which time the clear title will be signed over to the buyer. If buyer fails to pick up vehicle within thirty days of auction end, the deposit will be considered the seller’s and the vehicle will be relisted. Please only bid if you are serious. Bids will not be canceled once placed. |

Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs
Thu, 03 Jan 2013General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L vs Big Three-Row Crossovers | Spec comparison
Fri, Jan 8 2021The three-row 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is here, entering an ever-growing segment of big crossovers that Jeep has ignored since the Commander of the late 2000s. Of course, the Dodge Durango has basically been a three-row version of the current Grand Cherokee with Dodge styling and a different interior, so it's not like The Corporate Entity Formerly Known as Chrysler has been without a contender in the segment. Jeep is a stronger brand than Dodge, however, and the three-row midsize segment is stronger than those with two rows (there's a vast sales difference between the Chevrolet Traverse and Blazer, as well as the Honda Pilot and Passport). In other words, the Grand Cherokee L could be a very big deal. It is also, quite literally, a very big deal. As you're about to see, it is now the largest three-row crossover, besting the length, wheelbase and height of even the gargantuan Traverse. There's more to the story than that, however, so we put together the below comparison chart to show you how the new Grand Cherokee L lines up on paper versus the biggest three-row crossovers. That includes the 2021 Ford Explorer, 2021 Kia Telluride, 2021 Hyundai Palisade and 2022 Chevrolet Traverse. This group also represents some of the strongest entries in the segment as well as those we feel are most likely to be considered alongside the big Jeep. To that end, we also included the 2021 Lincoln Aviator in the chart since its base price is actually less than what we anticipate the luxurious, range-topping Grand Cherokee L Overland and Summit trim levels to start. Engines and drivetrains Note the differences in curb weight here. The Grand Cherokee L has the highest base curb weight of the group apart from the high-lux Aviator, yet its 3.6-liter V6 has the least amount of power and torque. Therefore, it'll be surprising if it's not the slowest in the group. There's of course the Hemi V8 available on the top Overland and Summit trim levels, but again, a hefty curb weight works against it. At 5,330 pounds, the lightest V8-powered JGCL weighs 600 pounds more than V6-power Explorer Platinum and ST models. On the other hand, nothing can touch the Hemi Jeep's towing capacity, and only the 400-hp Aviator betters the Jeep's base V6. Its 6,200-pound towing capacity greatly outdoes the 5,000-pound limits of not only the Telluride, Palisade and Traverse, but most others in the segment as well.
2016 Camaro gets most revealing tease yet
Mon, May 11 2015Chevrolet started its long teaser campaign for the 2016 Camaro by just revealing the exhaust manifold and front frame, but as time has passed the company has slowly unveiled more. In the latest glimpse ahead of the pony car's May 16 debut, we're actually getting to see the model's profile completely undisguised. As suggested by the recent tease of the rear and hood, the 2016 Camaro wears a sharper, more angular design than the current model. This is especially the case when you look at the taut lines making up the rear. Chevy claims that the new shape underwent 350 hours of wind tunnel tests to be able to generate left lift, improve cooling and reduce wind noise in the cabin. A smooth underbody pan is among the aerodynamic tweaks, and it runs from underneath the front grille to the center of the Camaro. Chevy asserts that all of the changes at the front help reduce lift by 30 percent. Related VIdeo: 2016 Camaro is all about the Aero Total aerodynamic lift improved by 30 percent for improved stability 2015-05-11 DETROIT – After 350 hours of wind tunnel testing – often 24 hours a day – the new Camaro will slip more easily through the wind, and drivers of the Camaro SS will experience a marked improvement in reduced aerodynamic lift. These changes illustrate the lengths the aerodynamics team went to for improved performance, stability, cooling and lower wind noise intrusion "The importance of aerodynamics increases exponentially as we increase vehicle performance," said Kirk Bennion, Exterior Design manager. "As engine output increases, we need more engine cooling. As acceleration and top speeds climb, we need to reduce lift for better high-speed stability. However, we cannot make any changes at the expense of increasing drag, which can hurt fuel economy. "To balance these different aerodynamic targets, we tested literally hundreds of changes on the new Camaro, millimeters at a time." For example, the initial design called for the lower grille bars to be set at a 20-degree angle to the horizon. However, after meticulous testing, the team improved engine-cooling airflow by 1 percent by shifting the angle to 13 degrees – a change that achieved the airflow target while maintaining the original grille design. And rather than a traditional front air dam to reduce aerodynamic lift, the team developed a flush belly pan that stretches from the front grille to the center of the vehicle.
