What a neat little Tracker !!  This  little  gem  was  a  trade in  at  one  of  the  new  car  stores  we  buy  from.  We  put  around  five  hundred  miles  on  it  and  it  rides  and  drives  like  a  Tracker  should.  These  nice,  low  mileage  ones,  are  getting  harder  to  find,  and  of  course  not  any  cheaper  for  good  ones  as  people  snap  these  up  for cheap  reliable  transportation,  or  to  tow  behind  their  motorhomes.

This  one was  purchased  by  the  previous  owner  in  2001  and  cared  for  till January  2014.  It  appears  to  have  a  new  quality  top  with  the  correct  removable  side  curtains  installed  recently.   Now,  for  the  only  bad  thing  I  could  find:  A  small  rust  spot  on  the  drivers  side  rocker  panel.  I  took  a  picture  so  one  could  see  it.

We  welcome  and  encourage  inspections  anytime  BEFORE  the  auction  ends  by  yourself  or  any  qualified  party.

We  are  open  Monday,  Wednesday,  Friday,  10:00-12:00  and  1:00-5:00  and  Saturday  10:00-12:00  and  1:00-3:00.  If  you  have  any  questons, please  feel  free  to  call  304-485-1164.  We  are  at  the  auctions  Tuesday  and  Thursday,  so  no  one  will  be  at   the  lot  then.

We  will  issue  temporary  tag,  if  needed,  for  five  dollars  with  proof  of  current  insurance.  We  also  charge  a  fifty  dollar  filing  fee  above  the  price  of  the  vehicle.  We  will  collect  tax  and  title  fees  for West  Virginia  customers.  All  others  will pay  taxes  and  other  fees  in  your  state.  Vehicle  will  not  leave our  lot  until  payment (other than cash) clear  our  bank.

We  will  assist  with  shipping  if  needed,  but  all  expenses  will  be  the  buyers  responsibility.

We  DO  NOT  DISCLOSE  OUR  RESERVE,  SO  PLEASE  DO  NOT  ASK.  This  is  an  auction,  so  bid  your  price  you  are  willing  to  pay.

Thank  you  for  looking.    The  warm  weather  will  come!!

Automakers score 8 out of top 20 most-watched ads on YouTube [w/videos]

Fri, 14 Dec 2012

Who would have ever thought there'd be a day where people are able to skip television commercials only to go to websites to watch them later? Such is the joy of a DVR and YouTube. AdWeek tabulated the 20 most-watched ads on YouTube, and found that nine were car-related including eight coming from automakers.
Volkswagen continued its Star Wars theme with two ads in the top 20, including the highest-ranking car commercial The Bark Side spot at number three with almost 18 million views, which doesn't even have a single car in it. Some of our favorites are from Chrysler with Clint Eastwood in It's Halftime in America and House Arrest with Charlie Sheen for the Fiat 500 Abarth. Chevrolet, Honda, Audi and Toyota were the other automakers in the top 20, but we'd be remiss if we didn't at least mention one of the coolest ads on the list, the Hot Wheels corkscrew jump.
Of all the car videos, only the Fiat ad wasn't played during a Super Bowl. Check out all eight videos - in order - after the jump. Nike took the top spot with its My Time is Now ad that has been seen online more than 20 million times with Pepsi's Uncle Drew posted up in the runner-up; some of the other videos include four Old Spice commercials and an ad in which Snoop Dogg is pedaling Hot Pockets.

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible is the track car for sun worshippers

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?

Hot Wheels' Twitter-enabled vending machine coughs up free Camaro diecasts

Wed, 27 Feb 2013

There are still plenty of companies that haven't gotten the whole social media thing down pat yet, but Hot Wheels isn't one of them. During the recent Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Hot Wheels created a lot of buzz for itself by using a vending machine filled with Chevrolet Camaro models, but instead of money to get the cars, show attendees just had to use Twitter.
To get the free car, people were asked to send a tweet to Hot Wheels Canada saying what they liked about the new Hot Wheels Edition Camaro, and including the #ChevyCIAS hashtag. This seemed to be a popular marketing tool, too, as AdWeek reports that the @HotWheelsCanada account more than tripled in followers during the course of the 10-day show. Looking ahead, this could open up even more innovative marketing possibilities using social media.
Check out the video posted below to watch how it works, and while the auto show has ended and the free-car giveaway has too, we're almost certain that some of the 1,500 freebies will make their way onto eBay.
