2002 Chevy Tracker 4 Wheel Drive, 4 Door, Automatic, 4 cylinder, 2.0 L – $4,999 or best offer accepted. 143,066 miles as of 9/20/14 - still driving.  VIN# 2CNBJ13C626917869.  Inspection and Emissions until 9/15.  Inspector comment was may need front rotors.  Runs and drives well.  Newer Firestone Winterforce snow tires with about 9 mm. tread remaining.  Roof rack.  Newer front brakes.  Newer starter.  Newer CV axles.  AC works.  AM/FM, CD.  Power steering and power brakes.  Rear wheel drive when not in 4WD.  Lights are on all the time when running (Canadian feature).  Cosmetic areas are some rust starting, dash panel clear plastic over odometer is cracked, driver side window shield cracked in 2 places, inside driver door panel near rear view mirror broke off, left side driver kick panel broken, spare tire cover torn, and rocker panels under both front wheels (see pictures).  Only mechanical issue aware of is the hood release needs to be held to open hood and the driver side window needs help being rolled up.  No power windows or doors - manual.  Goes great in the snow and has been very dependable.  Good gas mileage due to 4 cylinder engine.  Oil changed regularly since purchased with about 55,000 miles.  E-mail with phone number if interested and I will call you.  Selling “AS IS”.

Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy

Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.

Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues

'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
