Spring Creek, Nevada, United States

2003 Chevy Tahoe Z71 4x4. Overall Great Condition, Low Miles-65K, 5.3L V8, Automatic, Clean Title, Two Owner, Smoke Free, Never in an Accident. Has a Fabtech 6" lift with four all new Bilstein shocks, 4:11 Gears, American Racing wheels with Toyo MT 35x12.50xR18 tires-60% life left, and custom dual exhaust. Vehicle has power everything, Bose Sound, Sunroof, Tinted Windows, Rear Climate Control, Dual front Climate Control, Heated Front Seats, Bench backseat, all leather. Always maintained, garage stored, very clean. Carpets are clean and stain free. There are no leaks, no rust, does not smoke, no known mechanical issues. Has Alpine head unit CD/DVD/MP3, XM Radio Ready, and Ipod cable hook up. A Hypertech Max Energy programmer is included with the sale-was used to calibrate the speedometer. A dual battery kit is installed with two Optima Yellow Top batteries. The roof rack for a Z71 tahoe is included in the sale, not currently installed. Does not currently have third row seats but is easy to add if new owner wanted, just would need the seats and the brackets. There are videos online on how to do this-very easy to do. Could use new brake pads and fresh brake fluid, the clearcoat is cracking on the hood, minor scratches and rock chips-mainly on front bumper, lock cylinder for back window is damaged but still functions, there is no spare tire/wheel, small rip in drivers seat leather-see pics. The Alpine head unit is a bit dated-old technology, installed in 2004. There is some engine noise feedback that comes through the speakers when radio is on at low volumes. Recommend replacing with newer head unit. These are the only issues that are known, trying to be as honest as possible with condition of vehicle. Not hiding anything. The trucks looks great and runs & drives like it should. Gets lots of attention. Also the vehicle has new front axle half shafts, new shocks, new idler and pitman arm, and a fresh alignment. Thanks for looking! |

More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1
Thu, 28 Feb 2013During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.
AEV-upgraded GMC Canyon AT4X, Chevy Colorado ZR2 appear in spy photos
Mon, Dec 12 2022As with the previous generation, it appears the 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 will be getting a special AEV version. Not only that, but its twin, the GMC Canyon AT4X will get one, too. And as these spy photos show, they'll have some additional off-road accessories included, as well as bigger tires. We'll start with the GMC Canyon. The first example of the truck without any camouflage is not quite fully upgraded like the camouflage vehicles. But it has one part not seen on the others: the AEV snorkel. 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2 AEV Bison prototype View 13 Photos The two appear to be riding on larger Goodyear Wrangler Terrain MT tires. These look like 35-inch examples -- 2 inches larger than the biggest tires available on the ZR2 and AT4X. They're also mounted on beadlock capable wheels. Besides the bigger tires, both trucks also feature a new bed-mounted spare tire. It's a full-size spare, and unlike past bed-mounts, this one places the tire flush against the cab. The benefit of moving the spare to the bed is departure angle. And while this position looks a little less like how trophy trucks carry their spares, it should provide better cargo space. Rear visibility probably isn't great, though. Generalizing based on what we know about the current ZR2 Bison, the new AEV trucks will probably get unique grilles, steel bumpers, fender flares, a suspension lift and possibly even axle ratio changes. Additional options such as a winch could be offered, too. We expect the trucks will be revealed within the next year, since the base trucks have already been shown, and these are just upgraded versions of those trucks. Man spent $75 on a truck that lasted 38 years
Mon, Jan 5 2015Absurd as it is, some buyers today are worried about getting their car to last throughout the term of their seven-year car loan. Minnesota resident Bob Sportel has the opposite issue: his Chevrolet truck seemingly won't die. Sportel needed a cheap ride to get to work when he took a job at a farmer's co-op 38 years ago, so he bought a rusty 1957 Chevy pickup for $75 from a farmer; at the time, the 20-year-old truck was almost as old as Bob was. After nearly four decades of daily driving and an estimated 300,000 miles, Sportel is still driving the truck today. Bolts secure a fender, Bondo secures the lights, what looks like a whole roll of duct tape keeps him sitting on the bench seat instead of in it. For a 58-year-old pickup that's never seen a garage or a new coat of paint – but did get its oil changed four times a year – that's not bad; Sportel thinks his repair bill hasn't got above $1,000 for the entire time he's owned the truck. He still has no plans to get rid of it, saying, "It just becomes a part of you." You can watch his story in the video above.
