This is NOT just another SSR.  The car was bought by me and I have put 8-10 Thousand dollars of upgrades into this vehicle.  This is a one-of-a-kind Show Truck, Convertible and Corvette all in one package.  Vehicle comes with stock SSR wheels and Custom Chrome Wheels.  Some of the upgrades include:  Matching Painted Running Boards, Larger Wheels  & Tires, 3" Stainless Steel Exhaust that will never have to be replaced,  Magnaflow mufflers with 4" output.  There are electronic "DUMPS" for the exhaust so you can be loud when you want to and quiet when you have too.  All at the push of a button.  Chrome Shocks by QA1 and a Chrome Differential Cover,  This one was one of the Last Automatics made and certified by the Last Run emblem put on the vehicle at the factory,  Engine, tranny, rearend differrential, bucket seats and taillights are ALL Corvette.  Other SSR owners cringe when they see that the ID number matches the Corvette LS2 engine put in by the factory.  

I have ALL purchase papers and maintenance records since day one when I bought this truck.  Rides and drives fantastic as all SSR owners will tell you.  I have loved this car and it has been more then well taken care of.  I used it only to drive to and from the car shows since I bought it.  Lately it has won several trophies showing that SSR's are starting to get the respect they should from other car owners.

Full Disclosure: in my younger days, I loved nothing more than tormenting passengers with my behind-the-wheel hijinks. Once, after a particularly artful handbrake turn on a two-lane at around 50 miles per hour, I left one backseat occupant crying in their own lap. This isn't necessarily something to be proud of, but it gives you a glimpse into why it is that I find this ad from Pepsi so damn disappointing. The premise is beautiful. Take NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon, give him a disguise and set him loose upon some unsuspecting used car dealer. Hilarity ensues.
Except that this Pepsi Max commercial is so obviously staged, it can't help but feel like some ham-fisted marketing fail. From the strategically placed aftermarket cupholder mounted mid-dash for the hidden camera to the fact that the supposed dealer Camaro is displayed as a 2009 model (Hint: Chevrolet didn't make any), this clip is about as organic as a Twinkie. Still, we would never turn down a chance to watch Gordon thrash on a rental-spec coupe - only problem is, he probably didn't even do the driving himself. Check it out below.

After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
